Every stinking day the last three days except Sat and Sun, at least. 9:15 AM. I do not answer. They leave no message. If someone refuses to answer their calls, why do they keep calling them? Do they get paid to irritate and annoy people? If so, these people must be billionaires by now. So they should retire.

I just got a call from thise number. The man said he was from "Platinum Roadside" something or another with Allstate. Now, I do have Allstate, and I already have a basic roadside assistance through them (that has been great so far).
So I played along with it, hearing his spill, etc. The inevitable "I need your credit card number" happened.
First- I told him that Allstate has my CC on file for paying my insurance, so they can just charge it there or add it to my monthly policy fee. He said that was not possible, as the insurance side of things won't share that information as security.
Second- I said no problem, I'll just add it to my policy when I go in to pay my bill in a couple days. He said that this offer is only available over the phone.
At that point I said I'm not interested, and told him to have a good day. As I was reaching for the hang up button his last words were "Well Kenneth is it because you have to give your credit card number over the phone?"
Click. The end.

They are not allstate. I have been spammed for 3 days on the hour. Telling me it was schoolonline.com. Told them take me off your list. The lady with a very thick accent always picks up. This is a legit scam to get your information. Worst of all this women I told this women I know her number, She told me my number unlivable... when she just called me from this number... Its a scam.

Just blocked ALL calls from my cell phone except the ones in my contact list. This keeps this calls from happening.

I have received numerous calls from this number. The pitch has been everything from the Allstate Motor Club to ADT Alarm Systems. This is obviously a paid telemarketer. They do not honor the request to be put on their Do Not Call List. This makes them in violation of law.

Just got a missing call from that number no message.

It's Allstate telemarketers -- again! I waited to hear and told them not to call me again. They've also been using the number 1-888-259-0182.

Called me again for the 5th time. I called back and talked to an agent and told her I was from the Federal Communications Commission. I said we have had many complaints as far as spam calling. I asked for a supervisor and she hung up.

some of these calls will have the computer talking until some idiot can come on line, but the computer will give you options, one of which will be hit (specified number) to not be called again. many systems are all uniform software, so memorize the digit (i think it's an "8") punch it in after the call, if you are inclined to answer, and you put them 'away' for a while.
| Answer Man 2012-06-07 19:01:44 Telemarketer |
Telemarketer calling about a special thing with Allstate, you can call the number back and when the automated machine asks you how else he can help you, you say, DO NOT CALL, and it will have you confirm that you want your number removed from their call list, however, the automated machine states it will be removed within 30 days lol.

Received call from this number. Did not answer. They did not leave a voicemail.
| Steve 2012-03-15 18:14:47 Telemarketer |
I have an AllState policy, and I didn't know what this was about, so I listened to the first part of the spiel. Then I said I wasn't interested, and the telemarketer cut the pitch right off, said something about how to get more info, and that was the end. Annoying that they called, but not too hard to get out of. I hope that's the end of it, since I said I was not interested.
Funny enough, this led me to start looking into AllState a bit more. I found a serious complaint about the roadside service: http://www.amnavigator.com/blog/2009/09/12/al ... comment-page-1/ and lots of other bad reviews. Now I'm looking at alternatives. Good thing they called me! :)
