Caring - you are out of your mind to reply to an unsolicited call from a private 888 number!!!!!
I want to know how they got my son's name - when I asked, they hung up on me.

Ticked off,  I got  the same phone call and they gave me the same stick.  But I told them that I have no kids.  LOL  These idiots.

YOU CAN FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THEM IF SOMEONE IS CALLING YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE ON THE LIST.

This telemarketer keeps calling me several times a day. I don't have any children, and as a grad student, I truly need no help on the SAT, nor have I ever expressed any interest in study materials for it. Guess I'll file yet another complaint at donotcall.gov. These people are bottom-feeding scumbags.

Same thing happened to me. I told the lady my parents weren't home and she said wrong number and hung up.

I just got a call from them too. I was told they guarantee a 300 points on the SAT and 5 points for the ACT. When I asked about their website, he said that if I ordered there, I would have to pay retail which was over $400. When I told him I wanted to review the guarantee online, he hung up on me! Heck, I was being polite and I was interested in the product. THIS IS A SCAM!

Just got a call from 4306 from a guy named Jim to talk to my parents about me. Creepy!

I  knew the phone number when I sawq it on caller ID.  I just answered "Bueno, Bueno"  The caller asked if I spoke English and I said "Que?"  He hung up. :)

No one there when I pick up. My daughter has already taken the PSAT testing and does excellent on her own without having to "pay" a company to offer whatever it is they are offering. What happened to being on the DO NOT CALL LIST?

I received a call from this number.   They knew my child's name and they knew he took the PSAT.

I asked to see their website before I made a decision. "We don't do it that way".  Are you going to make a purchase?  It is $249.95, but if you get it online it is $349.95.   I kept asking "who am I doing business with".   More evasion.

I hung up.

I just recived a call from them and when I told him I wasn't interested because I thought it was nothing but a money making scam he hung up on me.  Amazing how when you call the number back everyone is busy and their voice mailbox is full.

Just got a call asking for"Susie's mom" (my granddaughter).. NO identifying who it is..no company name. When I asked who? he repeated it.. What professional calls asking for a kid's  "mom"? "Mother", maybe? So flag went up.. I hung up. Went on line with the number and WHAM! it's a scam...what a world we have!

Called and asked for the mother or father of Jessica, at which I said that I was the father.  The person stated he was from some "university prep" program and that Jessica had requested that his company contact us for SAT preparation.  I interrupted him to say that I was on the Do Not Call List and he should not be calling, at which he responded that he understood but was calling because Jessica requested they contact us.  I basically told him that he was full of crap and hung up in his face.  I am pretty sure this is a lie because my daughter graduated college over 4 yeas ago and is well on her way to completing grad school.  She is a good 7 years past worrying about SAT prep.  I guess that their little fib about the child requesting information is their way of getting around the Do Not Call List by claiming that someone requested the information.  Well, nice try, but I am still filing a Do Not Call List complaint.

They call every day.  I answer and no one is on the line.  I call back and it goes right to their Voice mail

Valid company or not, NEVER give credit card information over the phone.  These people are calling my elderly parents house asking for me and my son.  Their number is NOT my number so obviously they are working off of some crappy list that was sold to them by some third party.

I just got a call from them too... the man said my daughter has requested them to contact me... when I said: "Do what?" He hung up...

I get calls daily, sometimes multiple times a day, from this company, University Prep Center.  They are calling to have you sign your child up for SAT prep courses.  They reference my child by name and ask to speak to a parent.  When I who they are and why they're calling, they get extremely rude.  Don't waste your time speaking to them.  There are plenty of SAT prep courses that you can find locally and through legitimate sources, like your child's school.   They are relentless.  When you try to call them back, you get customer service, but their mailbox is full.

be very careful....checked out the company...seems to be a scam.  customer service number is too full to take any messages...same with the number 1-866-343-6754, given for the company.

Just got a call from 888-260-4306...asked for _____'s mom or dad.  I said speaking and they proceeded to tell me my son requested help with SATs.  When I said, ok - he hasn't said anything to me the girl (who didn't give her name) proceeded to tell me "their records show courtesy calls have been made since March 7....good luck with that" and then hung up...

I try to call the number back and get the recording that all customer support reps are busy, leave your name and number and they will call you back.  Then the mailbox is full and you can't leave a message.  Don't do it - it's a scam!

Just received a call on our home phone from 760-849-4747.  Is _________'s Mom or Dad home?  When asked who was calling and what the call was about, the man asked again.  For every question I asked to get to the bottom of why a grown man was calling about a teenage girl, he would just ask again is ________'s mother or father here.  His voice sounded as if he where high on something.  very strung out sounding, very scary...He said he was with the "University Prep Center".  When asked how he got our number, he hung up.  Both of my children have received phone calls from this number along with two of the numbers listed above on their cell phones late at night and you can hear the people in the background laughing. Again a group of people who don't know where the line is between right and wrong.  Scam!!!!!!!!  Scam!!!!!! Scam!!!!!!  They need to get a real job,pay their taxes and do the right thing in life..

Are you serious "Caring"???  Apparently you work for or follow this stupid company.  These people are a bunch of idiots and thugs who are trying to scam people.  You have no clue of what's going on apparently.  What's wrong with you?

These representatives are idiots and are very rude.  They just hung up on me for the second time.  They also never answer my direct calls.

They called repeatedly and when my son told them to stop calling they continued to call and threatened him and told him they knew where we lived.

how do these callers get away with calling private homes which are on the do not call list?  we should form a class action suit...  i didn't even answer the call; wouldn't want to encourage them, now would I?

I keep getting calls from 888-260-4306. If I answer, it asks me to accept charges. If I accept charges, it says they hung up. When I call the number back, I get a non-descript voice mail for a customer service. No biggy, except that they call about 3 to 5 times per day!

has called at least once if not twice a day for 2 weeks now, I recently moved but brought same home # w/me.  The calls started at the new house though.  Never leave a message, I always miss the call but today I answered it and the guy said "Mrs or Mr House" I said "Ms" and he said, "ok thanks" and hung up. I called back to see if they had a recording w/a company name or would answer and say it, but no it went to a recording w/a mailbox that's full so you can't leave a message.  Awesome!!

they called and ask are you (your child's name) Mom? I asked them, "Who is calling."
They repeated are you (so & so's Mom). This went on 3 times.
I finally said, you called my house and you need to identify yourself before I tell you who I am. The rep then said, "oh, I must have the wrong number." and then they hung up immediatly.
I called the number back and it was answered by a recording saying I have reached customer service. If I leave my name and number someone will get back to me. Yeah, I hung up on their stupid recording. They are persistant and aggressive as we have gotten many calls from them. It is scary when they know your child's name, but refuse to identify themselves. It should be illegal because they are soliciting information regarding minors.

THe person from this number called for my 15 year old Daughter. I ask who was calling and all he would say is Jim. He then called me by my last name and asked if I was having a bad day. I ask him again what business he was calling from and he said he was calling to wish us a good day and hung up.
