I received a call from a woman named Lanette and she said that her phone number and extension is 888-265-5074 ext 4225. I called the number back and it stated that this was Loan Shop Online (LSO) and that I should wait for a representative, but I hung up. She stated that it was urgent that I returned her phone call. I think if anyone who has ever had a payday loan and filled out for it online then all of the info goes to these people and we all start to receive threatening phone calls because I too had to have my bank acct information changed because my entire paycheck was taken once.

I received a call from Sharon Williams from LSO telling me I had been put on "report & notified".  I am in the collections field and she did not preface her call with "this is an attempt to collect a debt......" They need to train their employees/call center people on how to make a legal and legitimate collection call.

Unfortunately I took out a payday loan for the amount of $550.00 I have not made any payments to the loan escalating it according to them $1240.00 I called my states division of banking in Nj and I was told payday loans are illegal in New Jersey and they have violated the states maximum interest rate I think they are in big trouble filing today with the Nj division of banking.

I just received a phone call from a woman asking to speak with one of my coworkers, who shall rename nameless.  The woman sounded sketchy and how did she get my direct line?  And why was she calling me at WORK?  I told her my coworker was on vacation.  She asked if I would get her a message.  For one thing we don't work in the same department and another, I'm not her assistant so I asked how she got my number.  She said my coworker left my name as a reference.  So I asked if it was regarding employment, she said she was at liberty to say, so I thought well what kind of reference is it??  I asked for her name:

i took out a $550.00 loan from loanshop in april i was not able to make payments on the loan my new amount is over 1200.00 dollars i still cant make the payment i called consumer affairs in my home state of new jersey and was told it is illegal for payday loan lenders to lend money in the state of new jersey to i still half to pay this loan.

I just got a call from them.  Ive already taken care of the loan I recieved from them, and have documentation of it being paid in full.  They didnt leave a message or anything. Got the number blocked on my phone.

They got $230.00 out of me, I went to my bank and signed a stop payment form, I'll find out on friday if it worked!

I am like so many of you. received a call from them at work and asked that they contact me after 5pm. Was told they close at 4pm. I said then call me on the weekend. Was told they don't work on the weekend. Person advised me to handle my problem or suffer the consequences. I called back to speak to a supervisor and same old rude response. Told them I had major back surgery and would take care of matter as soon as possible. Person stated "this is going on two years and i doubt you'll take care of it then". Wanted to say "well b*tch, if you think you're getitng a dime now, you can kiss my a$$". Time the tables were turned on them.

I got a call from this (888)-265-5074 & let it go to voicemail. After listening to it he said his name is Tom and it's a serious matter and gave me his extention number..(4513) & I have "officially been notified"

Everyone is saying that they are having money tooken outof their account and I checked my bank statement and its the same...

JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM 8882655074 EXT 4513 AT WORK DONT KNOW WHO HE WAS BUT I AM BUT ALLOWED TO GET THESE CALLS AT WORK

They keep calling my number looking for someone who hasn't worked here since before I started.  When I asked them to remove the number from their records they got hostile and hung up.  I called back asking for a supervisor and got the same guy's voice mail.

One more call and I'm suing for harassment.

I received a strange call from these people this morning as well.  When I told her I had no idea who she or The Loan Shop was or what she was talking about, she became rude, told me a complaint would be filed against me and they would get all of their money (go for it - still have no clue who they are), and hung up on me.  Very bizarre.

Learn some grammar before you post crap about someone that is doing their job because you cannot pay your bill.

I have been charge from my debit card $ 39.95 out of no where. I call the number and only week days they take calls. And it dint even say the name of the company !

A man by the name of Doug Machmer from the offices of LSO 888-265-5074 ext. 4297 called for a coworker. After I took the message since my coworker wasn't here, he said "Can I let him know who left the message" because he wanted my name and that was his "professional way" of asking for it. Um no, you don't need MY name. So I told him "Let who know that I took the message?" He said "Mr. _____". I said "Well he's going to know who took the message because obviously I'm going to be the one that gives it to him..." basically saying you effing jack*** don't try and weasle MY personal information out of me when I have NOTHING to do w/ this. My name is irrelevant. So he said "Okay lady who answers the phone then got it" and hung up on me. Rude a***ole. I preceded to tear up the piece of paper I wrote the message down on and throw it away.

Same type message....It will be in your best interest to return my call. Yeah right do ya think Im stupid

close your accounts, fill out a form with your bank saying u didn't authorize this ach deduction, but close your account, or they will keep doing it sending different amounts

Online Loan advances are illegal and their fees are outrageous. What's more is they don't report to credit agencies so if you close your bank account and open a new one they can't come after you not even in court. They are a huge scam.

Guy left a message saying his name was tom morrow. I immediately thought "tomorrow" and took it as a scam.Didn't say what company he was with but LSO tried to take money from my bank account about a month ago.

They took about 800 dollars for a 450 loan.

Everyone should contact their state departments that may deal with situations such as this.

I contacted mine here in NJ they told me if they receive enough complaints they can take it to another level. Take the time and file complaints with your city or state, it will help other people as well as yourself. Have the patience to file the complaint and ask them, your state will work with you.

Lets get enough complaints out there people!!! We can do it.

A man called asking for one of our employees saying this was a business call.  Told him he would need to call her at home.  He then states he doesn't have her home number.....So Sorry, out of luck. Asked if I could transfer him to her.......NO!  These idiots are Scammers!  They just don't get that they are wasting my time.  

If this was a true business call this company shoulda, woulda, coulda gotten all the information they needed from their "client" when they set up an account for them.  That's Business Basics 101.

Same thing happened to me about the unauthorized debits. I told the bank and they said that since I'd authorized the initial online payday loan that I'd have to just eat it. I ended up just closing my account, and now just block all their calls.

I got a call from this number at my job.  The person said her name was Bonny Boyd. She demanded to speak to me, but my secretary just took her number.  She also call my cell phone 3 times.
