My husband keeps getting harassed at work and they left the number 888-323-0281.  We called back and  a recording came on for USC and entered the extension and got a voice mail for Brian Williams.  how do you get this mess to stop? they are hounding my husband at work.  we can't afford for him to lose his job.

Correction to my note: company was USC not UCS.

Got urgent call from my babysitter today, someone called my house named Investigator Murphy told her that if I didn't call this number right away then he was going to have to lock me up for check fraud and a couple of other charges, and that he would come to my home or office and get me. I called the number and someone named Brian Williams said he was with UCS and trying to collect debt from 2010, that if I sent money now he could hold the case, otherwise they would file lawsuit. He was polite and I told him I would try to sent money, he said they couldn't accept money by mail, wanted my card number. Then about 30 minutes later I get a call from another guy saying that Brian's notes say I refused to pay this debt. I asked him directly for his exact company name and mailing address and asked him for a written statement about this debt. He was loud and rude, but kept saying "Are you refusing to pay this debt?" I told him that I know it is illegal for them to threaten me with jail so go ahead and take me to court. He said he hopes I do get locked up and then hung up. I immediately filed complaint with Federal Trade Commission.

Received a phone call from someone stating that they were with a department that serves notice that i would need to appear in court if I didn't call this exact number. Called the number and spoke with Tammy Hatcher. Mrs. Hatcher proceeded to inform me that I had a bad debt, and that I need to pay "x" amount of dollars up front to avoid being served papers. She placed me on a long hold like she walked up to some Attorneys office to have the grant that I can take care of the debt over the phone. The only way they would take payment is by Visa or Mastercard, and it would have to be taken care of in the next 15 mins before the company closed. After speaking with multiple people, and not able to get any information from said Litegation Manager i didn't call back, nor did I pay. No one was waiting to serve papers for me or anything, nor was I going to be served. Big Scam People!

Received a phone call from this number today.  Telling me that they will serve me papers either at my work or residence.  A bit worried......

Several calls coming into my mother?s house asking specifically for me by first and last name.  Says his name is Kevin Nash like the professional wrestler also claims that he will serve me with papers, I am unaware of any debts I have to this degree since I have recently reviewed my credit report...  He did not say what company he is from nor does he have my work phone number that I have given to all of my creditors in the past?  This guy wants you to believe that you owe bad debts and use scare tactics to get you to pay off old bad debt then they simply pocket the money and try to fool someone else rather than actually pay off your bad debt if you did even have any?  they want you to verify information ? do not- then you are just giving to them more that they need to scam you over?

Who are these people?  Some guy named Calvin Murphy claims that he has tried to serve me at home, claiming I defrauded a financial institution (which he did not name) nor did he say what company he was with. Sounds fishy to me

Did they give you the county name that you lived in?
