TeamFSL (how cute),
Why are you replying to 3 year old postings? Are you trying to create some sort of favorable impression of your operation? A little late to be proactive I think. But maybe you're just casting a wide net.
Folks, my advice: Do not correspond with these sluggards by email. Any communications should be by way of Certified, Return Receipt, US Mail.
Educate yourself about the FDCPA. Research the reputation, history, and behavior of the folks you are dealing with, and handle them accordingly, as the law permits, and as you see fit based on your own conclusions.

Here's their physical address so that you can file a compliant with the Consumer Complaints (Federal Government)
First Source Advantage
205 Bryant Woods South
Amherst
NY 14228 3609
Tel.: 716-564-4400
Fax: 716-564-4440
Here are their ignorant executives - because no one would willingly lead a company that harrasses their potential customers:
Mr. Rahul Basu
President and President of Account Solutions Group (ASG) Amherst New York
Mr. Dennis Cardarella
Co-Founder
Mr. Lance Dellamea
Senior Vice President and Director of Operations
Mr. Ananda Mukerji
Chief Executive Officer of ICICI OneSource and Managing Director of ICICI OneSource
Dont take this from them. Begin a movement in mass to teach them that they can not get away with this behavior. They have a lot of jobs open because a lot of Americans are out of work and can not pay their bills. They are harrassing folks that are trying to feed themselves and their families. Many of these people they are harrassing are a step away from homelessness.
This is America - people can sue folks that harrass them and act unlawfully.

These people are Firstsource Advantage, LLC. They are a debt Collection agency. They use several telephone numbers: 888-267-5214; 716-564-4905; 866-517-7458. They are aggressive and use unprofessional and illegal tactics regardless if your the debtor or not. Folks need to group together and jointly sue the socks off of the organization due to their illegal tactics. Another group are looking into getting an attorney to take the case. I'll post the attorney's name when after they've secured him/her and have began to gather information.

Thanks for the info. The rep refused to give me company info which I didn't think they were allowed to do. I just hope they don't call again.

If you have told them to stop calling and they call again, they are in violation of the FDCPA.
Furthermore, if they continue to call you about your ex's debt, you can sue them under the DNC (TCPA) and FDCPA for harassing a non-debtor:
Generally, the TCPA does not apply to debt collectors making collection calls to debtors. However, if you are subjected to calls from a debt collector and you are not the debtor, you may file a lawsuit against the debt collector under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the TCPA.
This right was recently recognized by Judge Legrome D. Davis in a case called Watson v. NCO Group, Inc. NCO Group is a debt collector that uses automated prerecorded collection calls. In this case, Mr. Watson alleged he was getting hundreds of calls from NCO Group after he got a new phone number. Mr. Watson claimed he owed no debt to NCO Group, Inc. Mr. Watson filed suit under both the FDCPA and TCPA.
David Israel, defense lawyer for NCO, argued that the TCPA should not apply to debt collectors. Judge Davis rejected the argument made by David Israel. The judge ruled that Mr. Watson had a right to sue NCO Group Inc under the TCPA for $500 for each call. Judge Davis wrote;
[The] Court is convinced that a non-debtor's rights are in fact violated when he is subjected to repeated annoying and abusive debt collection calls that he remains powerless to stop.
Judge Davis' ruling was based upon his interpretation that collection calls to non-debtors violate the privacy rights provided by the TCPA.
So what can you do if you receive "wrong number" calls from debt collectors?
1. Sign up for the Do-Not-Call registry.
2. Save the calls captured by your voice mail or answering machine.
3. Contact a consumer lawyer.

Got a call from them regarding a debt that was not mine in anyway, shape, or form. They were searching for the ex. I ordered them to remove my number and cease and desist calling me. Rep refused to give me information regarding her company. She told me to research it on the internet. I again asked for a legitimate website to which her response was that "I" was harassing her. She reminded me the call was being recorded. I stated that was fine and again asked for the website address. I continued to ask for the website address to which she refused and kept insisting that I research it. I simply stated that I wanted the info should their company call me again so that I may forward it to my attorney should they violate my cease and desist request. She continued to refuse and told me to research it. Guess what researching found?
No legitimate website and a bunch of complaints against Firstsource Advantage LLC. What are my rights if they call me again?

How did "David" get my son's cell phone numbers? He called my family and told them I was going to Chicago next week, which I am. I don't have any bills for him to collect, so this is troubling. He is stalking me on Twitter.

Dave from First Source did a check on the 888-267-5214 no listing for that toll free number. Legit businesses are always listed. How do you stop people from all this scamming?

Keep getting phone calls from them, thinking I am someone I am not. I have told them for well over a year I am not this person, but for some reason they refuse to believe me and continue to call me.

Called my landlord looking for me, and ended up harrassing my landlord. My landlord ended up taping the phone conversation, so if we need to go to court, we will.
