Their system allowed me to fund a partial amount from a card. They NOW tell me that is not allowed but their system allowed it anyway. I think this is a scam to keep money.

I have been trying to get the rest of my money but they refuse to send it to me. They want me to go through "hoops: for $8.00. Not a lot but the principle is that they have my money and will not refund it.

From reading other posts, I can see that a big part of their "profit" is by stealing as much money as possible. Others have been ripped off for thousands of dollars. My puny $8.00 adds to that. Multiply $8.00 by 10,000 and you get $80,000, not a bad "take." from unsuspecting people.

MoneyPak/GoGreen called me to tell me that they could not refund the $2000.00 that was scammed from the four cards I purchased from them - An Auto-Craigslist scam - on June 7th. I willbe taking Tamianth's advice and contacting the BBB and local/state authorities on this. They were notified of the same within 12 hours of the hit and they did NOTHING to try and help.

If they do not or give you the run around, tell them you are going to file complaints with your states (and theirs) Attorney General, the FTC, CFB and also the BBB. Follow it up in writing and send it registered mail or return receipt keeping a copy for yourself. Give them 30 day's to issue the refund mentioning its already been a month.

GreenDot MoneyPak Email Support Team. I had requested a refund check and it's been nearly a month and hasn't been here yet, so I submitted a request and they called me. I didn't answer because I thought it was spam but they did leave a voice mail.

Freakin idiots. This was a callback from green dot's corporate office because I called customer service because of a permanent block put on my card by them and she couldnt tell me anything. Long story short - my father, who lives in another state, put money on a moneypak for me and sent me the moneypak number and I loaded it on my walmart card. Well, greendot took it upon themselves to say that it was unusal activity because I can't be in 2 states at once and permanently blocked my card without even calling me to ask me about it.

Never use a green dot card. they regularly put "security blocks" no accounts and then freeze your money. I currently have over $500 in my account and can not even access it. Green Dot are thieves and scum!
