As "Anthony" was on the line, I searched "Nationwide Payments Canada" on Google. There was no results even close to what they described. I asked if they had a website, he said, sorry it's not up yet. Yeah right. I asked to be removed from the call list.

Received call two days in a row wanting to talk to the person who looks after our debit card transactions. The first call, I said," My business partner takes care of that and he isn't in at this time." She asked his name and I just gave her his first name. She asked me to get the processing statements. When I refused (I was getting suspicious by then and told her I didn't know where they were) she sarcastically asked what my position was in the business and that it was not very smart of me not to know their whereabouts! I called *69 but the number wasn't available.
When another call came the next day from the same company, she denied having called , although she sounded like the same person. She gave her name as : Angie Porter, Phone # 438-800-2368 Extension 6031
I then went to the web-site and found the very helpful Blogs from all you folks. Thanks a bunch everyone!!

Received a call from a "WILLIAM" of Nationwide Payments Canada twice about reduing rates by 40%. When I declined the second time he got rude and said you don't understand what I'm offering you. I''m not selling you anything, we're a brokerage firm and I need to make sure you're passing off reduced rates to your customers.
Wanted unique information from our payment terminal.

I think this is the Nationwide "Canada" calling. It appears to be different company than Nationwide Payments in the US. Their working # is 438-800-2368.
They are using IRISTEL based out of Toronto. IRISTEL seem to cater to telemarketers and won't do much for us so it's fair game if we use VOIP to call them back with same messages we are getting.

I just got DEATH TREATS from a guy called Paul working for ths compagny, after not wanting to anwser his questions he told me my full name ( witch i never told him) he told me the name of the current compagny that im with and finished buy: im going to come over and kill you over 10 times and then said that i wanted to die and mentioned that he will butcher me into peases. I contacted the authoritys and praying that they will find him !!!! if anyone of you get phone calls from this compagny can you please right down the name of the compagny< thanks

At least the lady who just called me is moron. Since I didn't want any service from her, she was calling me a few times and last time I picked up the phone, she said: "you are fuken bi*** I hope you die'. and hung up right way.

BROADCAST THIS NUMBER THEY ARE FROM Nationwide Payments Canada. THEY trying to scam you machine.. they are with incas. 8882700355 it is a fax number. they are calling from philippines.. broadcast it to the news on tv or radio and to the internet, lets get rid of them..

They call us almost daily trying to sell us a new Debit Machine. Husband now asks them for a Credit Card number of theirs so we can charge them for wasting our time. Hanging up does not work, telling them you're not interested does not work and being rude to the extreme does not work they just keep calling back. Getting put a the Govt Do Not Call List made it even worse

Okay people I do believe this may be a new way to drive us crazy! So maybe we should do as Morty suggested and start sending black faxes to some of these numbers and our second line of defense could be a good blast with the kids recorder that should give them something to think about! Seems no one else cares that our small businesses are all being harassed continually by these people so we will have to take care of it ourselves. Just a warning, there is also some sort of scam going on where a person who can barely speak English tries to get access to your computer to "fix" problems you may be having, he says he represents Microsoft....DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE ANYONE YOU DO NOT KNOW ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER! These people are also very, very aggressive, and rude and will also call you on your home phone! Be Careful!

Just got 5 calls in a row...after the first call I told the very aggressive women to take me off their call list. She called back another 4 times swore at me, told me she was going to call me every single day, then left a vm saying - I know who you are and where you live. Called the police. Keep calling and we will see who wins this one :)

Just recived a call from them, i'm a frech speaking person but i can speak english, the thing is that the lady that called me could barely speak english so i asked her did she spoke french, she respond no... Wath the f......k are you trying to sell me if you not even able to speak one of the two officials language of Canada!!!!!!!!! I dont want to change my debit-credit machine so leave me the f*** alone!

Just received a call from them.
I answered speaking in french, i could tell there was alot of noise behind the caller.
All he said was "Parlez-vous anglais?"
I answered "yes" but by then, he had already hung up
I'm getting alot of weird calls lately... sounds like marketing companies found new victims to bother.

I am constantly getting calls from this number - trying to sell me a debit machine. How stupid do you have to be, to not understand we do not deal with this service. So this was the last call, when a person that is that ignorant to use profantity, to try and sell a product, yes thats what Canada needs another person to represent our country. If that is what you have to show, go back where you came from, and deal with your own people that way, here in Canada, at a business we use RESPECT!!! Do you know the meaning of this word. So a charge has been laid as of today!!!!! You have to be one of the rudest man I have ever dealt with, and I have dealt with thousands of people.

Received a call similar to everyone who posted. Not pleasant at all. Would not even give their company's name when asked (numerous times). Offering a 40% discount over our present debit / cc provider. LOL
Tried the number and got the fax machine. (no surprise!)
Why don't we send them faxes on that line? It is toll free and maybe they will get some idea what it is like to get numerous and time consuming calls. Better yet if it is an actual fax machine at the other end, then we all should send them a page that is all black!!! That will consume lots of toner!! It costs all of our businesses money to answer these calls and waste our time, may be we can repay them.
Just a suggestion.

Received a call from this number today, trying to sell us debit / credit card machines, told them we were not interested and asked to be removed from their call list. The ignorant man on the line asked me why he should do that, I told him because I asked him to. He then proceeded to ask me to give him 5 reasons why he should do that, I told him to give me 5 reasons why I should listen to him, told him to not call back again and hung up. They call back again and they will get an earful.

I was about to call to have the number traced for harassment. Besides the foul language and calling every few minutes for over an hour, he issued a veiled death threat against me. The only time he said nothing is when I let it go to voicemail; he knew better than to leave an incriminating recording.

Just received another call AGAIN from them. Told them again to stop calling. Called *57 afterwards to trace the number so Telus Canada has the proof of who is placing the calls. (Information only given to Police - they suggest tracing 3 calls before talking to Customer Service)
