rcvd a charge on my credit card acct from this tel # for $24.95 - I have never ordered anything from them!

I did not receive a phone call but had a reaction the the acai berry.  I did get a hold of someoneat 1-888-272-6483 and i received refund numbers for both plans from the customer service rep.  Whether or not this will work, we will see.

I just called and waited 30 min on hold to speak to someone and they did not answer. I then called my credit card co.legal dept. and they did a conference call (answered within seconds) and I am now finished with them. Card co. said if I am charged again let them know. I e-mailed you this morning, and I just called my bank to tell them this company would not refund our money back, after I called them this morning, and then they cancelled it today, they will cancel my credit card, and reissue another one along with paper work to sign, please, I suggest you call there VIT LIVE LEAN-1-800-272-6483 , cancel anything that they keep taking money from your account of ,and then call ACAI to verify that they cancelled, then call your bank to see if they could cancel and send you a new credit card, also e-mail, or call your local Better Business Bureau and file a complaint, its been one of those days, but I pray to God that this will be resolved, good luck:)

When YOU CHOOSE NOT TO CHECK something out before you placed your order by searching on Acai Berry SCAM - OR WHATEVER YOU MIGHT ORDER etc on the internet first.

It clearly states that you will be charged.

the set up - is the trial period starts the day the order is placed, not when it is received.  the trial bottle is NOT FREE!  You do get charged for it, as stated in the T&C on the websites.

You also gave your email and phone number to them - which they send to all their affiliates. by NOT READING THE PRIVACY POLICY you are about to be SPAMMED like crazy!

READ THE INFO PROVIDED FIRST! Look at the bottom of the screen before you start to place an order, the links to Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice should be located at the bottom.  If not - RUN AWAY FAST

I had called my bank today to ask them who was taking $24.95 out of my account, the said , VIT LVE LEAN-1-888- 272-6483 had taken that amount in August and this month, I called that number and spoke to a Kim, she said they could not refund that money back to me because it was in the agreemnet on line, but I told her I sent that product back because it did not work for me and they e-mailed me back and stated they would cancel any other orders, they have not been sending me anything by mail so what are they charging us for? she told me I had to call, or e-mail Acai because that was a seperate co, what a mix up, I e-mailed Acai and asked them to please refund my money back, any other suggestions?

I called GLF (Live Lean for Life) and after 2 hrs. 15 min (three times I gave up after 2 hours) on hold, got a confirmation on the cancellation in June.  They continued to charge my Discover Card for 2 more months until I closed the account.  Discover would not block the charges.  American Express and Visa will.  The only resolution was through the BBB.  They have hundreds of complaints about this company.  Don't give up.  Place a complaint with the BBB.  Some day, someone will shut them down.  Until then, they are placing thousands, maybe millions, of $24.95 charges unauthorized against credit cards.  They are making too much money.  Acai Advanced should be sued as well.  Bottom line: you get what you pay for and continue to pay for.  Discover will back the merchant first, customer second.  I used to love Discover, but I'll never use them again.

Advise everyone to call thier states attroney generals office and file a complaint we get enough and they will be investigated for wire fraud
Today 19 Aug 2009 went thru the hoops about this with them talked to the rock customer service person told me since I cancealed cant refund any thing but if I rejoin he can refund half of the charges and then I pay for anothither mouth of no service or product dont think so
This is not a company to do busniss with  They send out the free and oh by the way was informed that was RISK FREE not FREE changed for it above the shipping as stated in the web ads
everything points to this being a scam company and once they get your number watch out
The police chief in Lewiston ME hasnt even heard of them and how big can Lewiston be that was where the call service told me the office for them was they have a PO Box in Portland ME
things just dont add up for them and they sound funny like a scam

Make sure you get a cancellation number from them and then call your credit card company and file a dispute. Keep a good watch on your bills and if need be ask the credit card compnay to issue you a different account number. I will never ever take advantage of a "free trial offer" again. Go to a health food/vitiman store you can just buy what you want and have the prodcut in hand. This is a rip off and a scam.

I called the number, and after about 15 minutes on hold, the attendant picked up. It seems that this charge is for an "Online Subscription Service" that comes with the Acai Advanced stuff. He was kind and said that they would issue the refund and submit the cancellation and gave me the confirmation number, just to give it about a week before the refund posted back to my account.  Hopefully it works.

I called my bank to cancel the $24.95 charge to my account and while trying to register my complaint about not being able to get ahold of anyone at the company, I was transferred to this number 888-247-5160. I just spoke with a person from VIT*Live Lean and found out what they were doing. Apparently there is a website with tips and tools to help you lose weight. Well, I never received a password nor do I remember any information being given to me about this website.
After canceling Acai Advanced (their product)in June I continued to be charged the $24.95 which is the charge for the privilege of using this website.
I can't guarantee calling this number will get you through, but its worth a try.

Yes, the exact same thing happened to me.  I have been charged 24.95 debited from my bank even though I returned the bottle UPS Blue (which costs me $43.22) and a long time on the telephone.

I recommend that you call your bank and immediately stop payment to this company ASAP if they are pulling money directly from a debit card.  I am fit to be tied.  In the meantime, I have constantly called them and been put on hold for as long as 3 and 1/2 hours with the message playing every 10-15 seconds.

I am contacting the State Attorney General's Office of North Carolina in the morning.

i was also one of the victims. i didn't know about how to react when i got the second package. at first i felt like since this company gets alot of ppl then they should scam. my internet locks and safe said it was fine. I was dumb to not read the terms. I also hate that they would do this kind of thinks. What I read, once I get my refund, I'm changing my debit card number. You have to think 2 steps in front of the enemy. I could also sew them for selling it to a 16 year old. And no I never took those pills, they were for my mom and me, but she talked me out of it and since then I have been eating healthy. But I hope people know that fruad companies like those, you should always keep e-mails that you purchase online. I will help you out ladies by giving you the e-mail I saved. With this I did e-mail them, and I'm not an idiot when it comes to e-mails. You e-mail them and then they send one back, it would say automated message, lie, if it was they wouldn't respond. I'm doing what the e-mail says, send the product back blah blah blah, and they will refund. I hope. I hope I helped, maybe someday this company will fall and the people can be arrested. I don't want any1 else falling for this and I want to help every way I can. I believe that we should help each other since we were all victims. And if I probably didn't post this, you wouldn't be able to find ways to contact them and get your money back. So always thank God and keep him in mind. Turn to him to look for the solutions like I did.

The e-mail is support@advancedacai.com. Don't even try calling. And cancel or change the card you paid with so that Live Lean w/e it's called doesn't charge you. When you change, they won't even have your new number. Thank God and thank the mind of a revengeful 16 year old. ^^

Same thing happened to me.  I would like to know if your lawyer goes thru with this .  This should be classified as a criminal act and they should be prosecuted.

Yeah, it was in their terms and conditions of the free trial... And credit card companies can't block charges under the fair credit billing act. They can dispute them, but sometimes even getting a new card will not prevent these merchants from charging, even after you cancel. Read the terms and conditions next time.

I was billed on my credit card $24.95 and received nothing and was not contacted by anyone.  I also was billd on my credit card 64.95 by VIT* Acai Advanced iC and received nothing from them.

call your credit card company. cancel it. fil out an avidavit and get your charges reimbursed. and file a police report that your card was stolen.
i did it and im still in the process of getting my money back.

go to the bank and say your card was stolen. i did it, and i got a new card and the charges reimbursed. but you have to find a way to cancel the account as well, which i am currently searching for a way to do

When I tried to call and cancel my order I only got a busy signal. So I returned the unopened product. Called my bank to dispute the charge. I will fill out a fraud paper on them. Changed my card number! Big rip off!

I fell for the same thing with pure nutrients and I just got a charge of $89.00 dollars I am so mad I guess I will have to cancel my debit card this is going to cause alot of problems for people.

I was stupid also, I ordered the Acai-advance stuff.  It does not work, and I got stiffed with the 24.95.  Maybe  Dr Oz that was on the Oprah show can help.  Everytime I call they said that call from 9:00 a.m. til 5:00 p.m.  tried all day.  I wish I could get my hands around these fools.
They have messed with the wrong Police Officer.  I will get mine.  We need to all call CNN ,Geraldo, or Prime Time for somebody to investigate these freakin stealers.

I called (1-888-247-5160 is their alternate number) the day after my wife ordered because I suspected it was a rip-off. I got through after 20 min. and was told that it was too soon for the order to show up on the computers. Ten days later we have not gotten through again and the product is not here. We changed our Visa number and are only out about 6 bucks. I would advise others to do the same. I would be happy to be included in a class action suit.
