They leave a voicemail 1 out of every 5 calls, They leave a message for Maggie (not me),  I don't even know anyone named Maggie, I'm not a guy named Maggie with Sears credit!  I have had this phone # for over 7 years so someone must have given them a bogus #,  but if I listen to the voicemail I am now the guilty party???? Does that even work on this planet?  I typically delete the voicemail but decided to google it today ... wow, what do***ebags!

These A-Holes call several times a day from different numbers asking for the previous owner of my house.  A house that I bought 11 YEARS AGO!

Apparently the loser owes money and these idiots are cross referencing his last known address (my house) which comes up with my current phone number.

They can't quite get that though their heads.  Simply typing my phone number into Google will come up with my name and address.

I keep receiving calls for a Guy and I am certainly not him nor do I even know this person. When I try to call the numbers back there is no answer. I have my phone set to no longer answer the calls anymore but they are annoying. I will be sending a D &C letter ASAP.

I get calls from this number at least 10 times a day.

I got a missed call from this number. Calling back gets me only recordings that imply they are not in the office currently (after hours). No reason to call me, bankruptcy a year ago no credit cards or debts since. Possibly related to other family members or friends, if so I will be reporting them to the FTC and FCC for harassment.

I keep getting calls from this number for a Linda Dobson.  It is not me.

This number calls and just says nothing about who or what they are all about.  It is so irritating and time consuming.  What a waste of time.  How do I stop or turn them away or block their call on my phone?

I have been getting calls from this number and other collection agencies asking for a specific person.  I have no idea who they want.

The company calls themselves MRS and continues to call my number looking for someone who owned this number 14 years ago!!  I've asked them to delete this number but so far, no luck, they keep calling so I just keep ignoring now.

Ok, they keep calling me over and over again and I do not answer. They have been told that the person they
are looking for is not the same person that lived here and a different social and it's for an overdue WAMU account, apparently.
My family member is deceased as of last year and it isn't even the correct person they are looking for, but they didn't believe me I guess when I told them it's not him they are wanting, AND he is deceased and it's painful having to
address that every time they call. Please, stop calling me. I lost someone I loved dearly and he left no debt, and had
no affiliation with WAMU EVER!!!!! I hope one of your family members has to go through this sometime and you will
see what I am saying as to how this makes you feel. And to the poster who said we all needed to grow up...

I keep getting this company(MRS) calling me.  He keeps giving me the name Mr. Bessitt. I have told him several times that it has nothing to do with me. I have told him that he needed to contact my Ex-Husband. He went on telling me that SINCE we were married that i was just as RESPONSIBLE as the ex. He will call my number, my mothers, former jobs (lol), sisters.  I want this to stop, i DONT owe these people nothing.  How can i report the ABUSE from this company. It sounds stupid but i will wake up in the middle of the night stressing over what these people tell me.  PLEASE STOP...

these people call my telephone number 2-3 times a day usually recorded when a live person is on the line I explain that nobody named thomas jensen lives here and to please remove my number from their contact list.  someone named chrystal sullivan called and left a most shitty message threatening this person. well I would like to have some help stopping them from calling. this goes on from 8am to 9pm. and is annoying.

They are calling my 92 year old father at hi shome and driving ghim crazy.
These people are suppose to be working with my credit solution company not calling me or my family.

I got this call today (5/13) and a lady left a message. she did not say who the company she was caling from nor did she say who she was calling for...she gave me a reference # in case i decide to call back and demanded that I call before 12pm the next day. The message sounded like a threat.
Has anybody gotten a call like this before? please advise. thank you.

I keep getting calls from these people, and was happy to finally figure out that they are indeed a bill collecting company.  Since it seems like our home is being watched, I thought it could be much worse.  Thanks for all your input.

Unlike most folks here and most folks these guys seem to call...I am indeed the one they are looking for. I had a WAMU credit card, I was cut back to part time at my full time job of over 21 years. It came down to paying the credit card or keeping my home for my family (I took the right choice). Anyway...this is not a sob story...I just hope to put some of you at ease who might be getting harassed by people like this. Most times, they can do NOTHING other than harass you. I know that they will tell you that they are going to take your home, your car, etc...but it's all just BS scare tactics. They are all wind. You should have heard some of the threats I received. They of course...can screw up your credit...but chances are, if you have not paid your bill (like me) then it's in the toilet anyway. Now...don't get me wrong...I am not in anyway telling you to stop paying your bills. What I am telling you is that you can go to bed tonight and sleep without worrying about losing everything you have and spending 40 years in a federal penitentiary. They can ring your phone and act angry...that's about it. I hope this gives you a little peace of mind. I was freaked out for a full year that was filled with threats...but that's all they are. They also patrol boards like these. They post as people who say they lost everything because so and so took it from them and how they should have paid their bill...It's propaganda.

The call came through, obviously a computer recording, giving my husband's name and the recording continued that he was to call immediately to the number about a debt but didn't mention who it was through. Only MRS as the collection agency was mentioned.

I think it's just a scam.  We don't owe anybody any money. He also called us by differnt names and we have had the same number for 40 years. We recieved this call the day we switched to Vonage.

switched to verizon and every telemarket company seems to call. I've opted out and now this one persists. They call me by my maiden name. I notice this also happened right after signing up with job agency -jobbing.com and now debt collectors call. All my debts were paid back in the 90's.

I got call from this number and another beleived to be from them too. Just a recorded message sometimes saying to call. Not who they ae or who they are calling for. If they were caling about a past due account with someone else. The original account holder has been notified that no correspondence be done by phone only mail. But still get calls. Messages dont say who was calling. I found out by calling the number back to see who it was and just got a recoding then also.

Just got a call from them. They were asking for someone that does not live here. 2nd call from them, asking for the same person.
I started to tell the guy that he does not live here, and he hung up on me.
I called back, and as soon as I started telling the guy that I talked to that I am tired of telling them he doesn't live here, and that I don't appreciated being hung up on, he started actually yellling at me. I started yelling back, and told him that I was filing a complaint against them at the national do not call registry (which I have been registered on since 2003). I have filed a complaint - probably won't go anywhere.

I get 1 call from this number every day about debt but there is no reason why anyone at my number would have debt. It is just getting annoying having this number call every single day.

My phone is listed under my first initial and last name. The call from this company came in as a pre-recorded message for a first name that was completely not mine and a last name that was a mangled version of mine. It gave me different numerical options, including Press 4 if you are not this person. I should have hung up to tell them, hey, I'm not this person, but they were so hostile with the leading questions, like I was trying to hide something by not giving them information. But why would I give them my information if I wasn't the person they were looking for? And then when I asked them for their information, they got hostile. Amazing. Steer clear!

Beware if you actually talk to these people. Yes, once you do answer their call & although you do NOT have a debt for them to collect, they WILL call your relatives. MRS has approx. 12 sister companies. It does NO good to write any of them to ask for calls to stop (remember NO debt), they find a way around it and continue. I've filed complaints with my state's attorney general AND the Federal Trade Commission for harassment. If your calls continue, with or without debt, & with a letter requesting calls to stop immediately, I recommend you file complaints, too. These people are just too nasty, in my opinion.

Received a voicemail from Carla Adams with a reference #.  When I called the # back, representative answered MRS. I gave my phone# & the representative stated who the call was for in which it was for my ex-husband. I advised I don't know what his # is & we have been divorced for almost 3 years.  It seemed as though they are some type of bill collector.  I felt real uneasy about the call.  I am wondering how they got my #.  He has a new wife and they need to call her.

This company refuses to work with me on a past debt that involved my ex-husband.  Somehow, they've managed to get not only my parent's unlisted home number but they've also gotten the phone number to my parent's second home which is vacant 11 months out of the year.  My parents are vacationing in their second home over the holiday and they are getting harrassed by these freaks.  Maybe they should learn that they can attract more bees with honey.  Harrassment only makes us steer clear of them.

These people say one thing and do another. They say if you pay the bill your credit will improve. Stop lying and calling pepople.

These a**holes call my house asking for someone I don't know. They start off immediately asking a lot questions without identifying who they are or why they are calling. Then when I ask them who they are and why the hell they are bothering me, they hang up. People like this are some kind of low life scamming scum who live under a rock.
