number 888 276 1908  calls at least 5 time a day for months....ask for a person that does not live here.

This number calls me at work at least once a day. What's weird is it calls two separate lines at the same time. When I answer it is a recorded message asking me to press a number to speak to a representative, and when I do, it just hangs up on me. I put the number on the do not call register but I doubt it will do any good. I wish I could block these people.

The caller asked for someone women who is not at this number, when I told the gentlemen that he had the wrong number he yelled at me and said that he had the right number and I told him that there was no one here by that name and not to call here any more. He never said where he was calling from or who he was.

I was expecting a call so I picked up when they called. All I got was about ten seconds of annoying music followed by "please continue to hold" that kept repeating until it hung up about a minute later. When I tried calling back I got the "AFNI" message like you other guys.

Just about every day I get a call from 888-276-1908.  I finally got to speak to someone named Michael with AFNI who stated that they were looking for Kevin something or another whom I do not know.  He said they would take my number off the list.  Fingers crossed.

I get calls once a week from a recording stating to remain on the line but no one ever connects.  When i call back to this number there is another automated system that asks for the number i am calling from then has an option to remove my number from this system if I am not the person they are looking for.  Using this function doesn't do any good.  They continue to call.  I can't even pronounce the name of the person that they are asking for on the recording.

Same thing here...calls everyday several times a day. Will take steps to have them blocked on my phone.

This number calls my cell about twice a month. Once or twice they left a VM. Finally I got fed up and called the number to tell them that I am not the person with the name they were looking for. That was two or three weeks ago and I've gotten two more calls since. I am on the Do Not Call list also.

I Get the same Crap from this Number and Others.

I've gotten five calls from this number, three of which I missed and no message was left, between 9/2 and today. The first time they called I answered, no recorded message, just a person asking for Jonathan somebody. I have never known a Jonathan and have had this number for four years. I told them they had the wrong number, to which they apologized and said that my number would be removed from their list. They called the fifth time about 30 minutes ago and I answered. Again, no recorded message, just a person (that sounded like the same one as the first time) asking for this Jonathan again. I told them that this was not his number, has not been in four years, and if they called me again I would report them for harassment. We'll see if that works...

I just got a call from this number.  A woman told me that she was trying to collect a debt.  She said it was from a Qwest bill from 2008 and that I still owed $100.  I told her that I've had Verizon for about 7 years and I have absolutely no accounts in collections.  She then said that even though they are a collection agency the debt hadn't actually gone to collections.  She then said that I had made three payments two years ago and I still owed $100.  I have made NO PAYMENTS to any sort of collection company in the past two years, mainly because I have no accounts in collections.  FYI, I haven't had a Qwest account since 2001, which she didn't know about.  She also "verified my information" by giving me my last two digits of my SSN and my VERY OLD address, which is my mom's.  She said that they had been mailing me notifications for payment for the last two years, which is a lie.  Obviously when I receive mail at my mom's house she gives it to me.  This has SCAM written all over it.  I asked her to send me the payment/account/collections information via mail and I would have my attorney look over it.  I believe this to be complete BS.  I don't owe any collection company any money, let alone for a Qwest bill that I had over 10 years ago.  Sounds like a scam artist(s) fishing for money.

Got 2 calls from these freaks asking for a garbled (machine sorted) version of my name (possibly) I'm signed up for DO-NOT-CALL and get really pissed when people leave messages on my phone and do not identify their type of business and what they actually want. I called them back on another phone and asked why they were calling my cell phone, the smart..ss on the other end got real belligerent and kept asking for my name and saying "you called us". I aked them to tell me what company they worked for and why they were calling me, they refused, finally gave them a bogus name, and they said you aren't so and so. I will report them. I guess they said Afni but it sounded like Asme.

Called & harrassed me on my cell phone--was a real smart a** when I wouldnt answer his questions?  C

Call every single day at the same time for a person who does not live at this number.  They say "If this is not so-and-so, please press 2".  When I do, it says my name will be removed from the list.  That was two months ago!  Even when I pushed the button for the person they were calling about, I waited forever and no one answered.  I was nervous that while I was waiting they were trying to gather information somehow, like when you try to trace a call, so I hung up.  Can't win with this one!

They call me constantly despite me telling (through touch tone system) that the person they are looking for is not at the number they are calling.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.

They call my cell phone  which I do not answer and do not have Voicemail  activated  I am on the do not call regestry but that is  a joke  that stops no one from calling

They call with TOLL FREE CALL ID. I don't answer these calls. These people call with multiple numbers and the same ID: TOLL FREE CALL

They call me every other day about my brother, who does not and has never lived with me.  I have called back to opt out ("press 2") and still receive calls.  When I try to call to speak with someone to tell them to go away, I never get a live person.  At what point does this stop?

I have gotten a call from this number (or wanting me to return the call to 1-888-276-1908) for the past 3 days. The caller ID came up the first time private name and number and now it comes up toll free with the number being 1-800-598-9331. I have tried to return to call several times because the message says they are a debt collector (and I do not owe any debt that I know of, so I am concerned). The company name is Afni and when I look them up on the web there is very little information on their website. So now I am annoyed and would like them to stop calling.

This company has called my home everyday and night for the past week. a pre recorded message comes on asking me to press # to speek with a rep. As soon as I hit # the phone call gets cut off. When I call back the number 1-888-276-1908 it ask's me to eter the number from where the call was placed. When I do guess what..... It hangs up on me again. I am pretty sure that this is some sort of harassment. I am now calling Verizon to place a block on this number. Something needs to be done about this company. If they truly need to get a hold of me, then get someone on the phone. IDIOTS!
