I also received the same information in the mail after receiving that phone call. I am not going to send any contribution to this group because I do not like phone solicitors. They were very aggressive with their agenda even after I told them that I prefer to support the fisher house and wounded warriors.Something just did not feel right to me.

My elderly aunt got a call from Terminally Ill Children's Fund and because it was located in Wisconsin she agreed to $15, but wanted a form sent.   When the form came she gave it to me to check out,  I tried calling the number on the bill 888-276-2950, but it was an ad for a Bahama vacation, if you listen to the entire thing and indicated that you were not interested, it sent you to another voice account that again asked if you would like the trip and all you need to do was pay $59 with your credit card, if you again said no, the call disconnected.  I found another number for Good Charity  888-441-9336, however this only goes to voicemail where you can leave a message and the mailbox was full.  In going through her other donations requests I also found this same number associated with a Disabled Veteran's group that also sent her a bill for a requested donation.   This is really a bad one and it preys on older people.

I just received my second call from the disabled vet at the same phone# as all of the rest of you.I told them that I couldn't find anything with their name at the said address or zip code. I too was ask about a credit card. No thank you send me the info and we will go from there. I agree with the rest of you and not confident that this is a real charity. Will continue to donate through my work that deals with our local Veterans. I thank all the Veterans passed and present for all that they did for me.

Yesterday, (Sunday Morning), I received an unsolicited phone call asking me to complete my donation and pledge to the M.D.P.V.F. I told the caller, (female), that I had already sent my check and donation into the M.D.P.V organization about 3 weeks ago. She said that her chapter was different than theirs, where I had sent my donation, and that they had not received my pledge and donation to them. I said O.K. and decided that I would send a second donation on Monday, (next day). She asked for a credit card number over the phone, and when I said no, she asked me to give her a phone check. I also said no to her 2nd request. She gave me their mailing address, and I told her I would mail my check on Monday morning. Before mailing my check on Monday morning however, I decided to run a Google Search to see if they were listed as a legitimate organization. After searching several times, I finally found them on Google, but they were listed under their phone numbers and not under their "Name". Their address is listed on Google, under their phone numbers as, (43422 West Oaks Drive, 308 Novi, Mi. 48377).  After reading all of the unfavorable comments, about this "Chapter", I too, have become very suspicious of them. Therefore, I will not send my check to them. I am a veteran, and I am very much in favor of helping all of our fellow veterans in their times of need. I simply wish that our governments, both local and national, would put an end to scammers, who take advantage of our sympathy, love, and loyalty, to our fallen brothers.  Thank All Of You, For Your Comments, And Revelations, About This Questionable Chapter Of The M.D.P.V.F.

I received the same call and after researching I am also sending them back a note and NO money.  The money I pledged will be going to the VFW in my city and I will personally deliver it there.  Has anyone report this organization to the Michigan Attorney General's office and gotten a response?

I donated and then was asked to pay again online. This is a SCAM. The 888# on their letter was a prerecorded offer for a cruise, then a medical alert device. After reading the fine print and calling Insight Teleservices 15% of the 'contribution' suppossedly went somewhere! Good Charity Inc was also named. Shameful to fraudulently collect using disabled veterans as a ploy!

I donated via credit card and then received a request to donate on line for my 'pledge'. It took me a while to find the right number as the 888 # was a fraud offer. When I got Insight Teleservices, they said 15% of the donation goes to the charity. I requested a refund...and will try to pass on this info to others. I am VERY ANGRY to know that SCAM organizations pretend to support legitimate causes. Complaints to follow to Attorney General, FBI Cyber Crimes, etc. PISSED OFF at being Dupped!!!!

Yes, I am wondering also if this is a scam. I was going to donate on line with the ref # that was provided. When I entered it it said it did not exist so I called the number on top 1-888-276-2950 and the response was it was not a working number?????
I'm sorry I can not give at this time. Is this a scam?????

Rec'd  call a week ago & asked if I could match my donation of a year ago. I went ahead w/ it & then was asked to help them save on postage & pay over the phone w/ credit card. I foolishly fell for it even though my husband knew better. (not even sure we donated a yr. ago) I just wanted it convenient & dealt with. A week later we rec'd a pledge statement asking for the money! So much for saving postage. Too late to cancel w/ cc but I started to be suspicious & started investigating. Of course you can't reach anyone at 888-276-2950. Discover gave me a # that I called & left message on Brian Maiorana voice mail 800-966-0434. I rec'd return call from Bradley Carter 800-550-3419. I know it's too late to get my $ back but I wanted a receipt at least. I will be making a list of their charities & never donating again. It becomes more clear by what I'm reading that Insight Teleservices & Good Charity Fund are inter-related & keeping the majority of the funds raised.

Actually spoke with someone today from the 888-276-2950 number and a "supervisor".  My question to them was to provide me with their EIN # or 501(c)3 number indicating a non-profit status.  They didn't even know what I was talking about.  The supervisor did indicate they were from the Insight Telemarketing Company.
SO,  This is a bogus group making millions of dollars with less than 10% going to charity work.

DO NOT DONATE to these groups. If you want to donate something, call your local community groups or organizations and give them a donation.  These long distance fund raisers are making tons of money and sharing very little.

I received a call from "Disaster Relief & Aid Fund for tornado victims in Oklahoma.  The address is from Madison, WI.  I have called the number and get a recording to leave name and number.  I have told them I will not donate until they call me and tell me how much goes for relief and how much goes for administration.  Many of the calls I get from charities only give 10 to 12 % to the cause and then I refuse.  I forgot to ask on this one.  I think the safest place is The Salvation Army.

Here is your 990 scumbag thieves. 1.4 million collected for all your scams and you gave away 95 thousand at best. That is what you reported and I dont believe you even gave that much away.

Brian Maiorana, did you think we just would not spot 4 fake charities standing side by side and run by a professional fundraiser? As a matter of fact a professional fundraiser for Insight and their director of development no less. You set up these four groups so that you could siphon off donations meant for the other groups that Insight raises money for. You should be ashamed of yourself for what you are tryingto do and to do it at the same time some many other groups have been shut down for doing what you are doing. Have you not heard of Bobby Thompson and the United States Navy Veterans Association? You are trying to do what he did 4 or 5 times over at the same time. LOL The funny part is that right now, you think noone sees you! LOL But soon enough someone is going to ask you what the heck you are doing! LOL I cant wait to see what you have to say about it. LOL

How much have you managed to siphon off already? You do not seem to have been going for more then a little bit, so I bet we got you before you got to much charity money put into your bank account.

What a clown. "GOOD CHARITY INC" http://www.goodcharityfund.org/
giving their fundraising contract to Insight Teleservices http://www.insightteleservices.com/

"Brian Maiorana" of "Good Charity INC" "Terminally Ill Children's Fund" and "Disabled Paralyzed Veterans Fund" and "National Breast Cancer Awareness Fund" and Children's Leukemia Of America Fund" and Good Charity, Inc. Brian Maiorana 33523 8 Mile Suite  A-3, 236 Livonia MI 48152

Good Charity, Inc. All three have different addresses though. Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund address is Good Charity, Inc. 1360 Regent st #600 Madison, WI 53715 its a UPS Store. Childrens Leukemia of America Fund address Good Charity, Inc 43422 W Oak Drive #313 Novi, Mi 48377 its a UPS store and Terminal Ill Children's Fund address Good Charity, Inc 101 S Military Ave Box 268 Green Bay, Wi 54303 its a UPS store.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article from 2007 that found Insight Teleservices, Inc. kept ~86% of the $812,500 it raised on behalf of Wisconsin Paralyzed Veterans of America.  The charity got ~$113,750.  It appears to me that the principle reason for Good Charity, Inc. is to retain the services of Insight Teleservices and only the minimum amount of money is actually funneled charity to keep the whole thing legal.

Notice the names of a group that is actually contracted Insight to raise money for them and then notice the name of the same group that Brian Maiorana started.

Contracted Group Wisconsin Paralyzed Veterans of America
Scam Group Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund

Oh Yeah, he is siphoning money, no question about it. All these groups are similar to ones contracted to Insight Teleservices INC.

This is a massive R.I.C.O. Case if they are working together and how could they not be so it maybe is time to put someone in Insight and if possible into this Good Chairty. (doubt it is anything more then Brian Maiorana)

Dear Brian Maiorana, head of Good Charity Inc,
Thanks for stopping by, was there something I could do for your thieving backside, other than putting you into a prison cell for stealing from veterans and little sick kids?

Now let me explain something to you, if you follow through on your threat to hire Indian web hackers with money that was donated to any of these fake charities then we are going to have another problem.
Spending up to 50 thousand of the 180,000 you got from your hack fundraisers is just plain crazy and you are an embarrassment to everyone who ever served this country.

http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/why-a ... -195936771.html

Why are so many American military veterans sleeping on the streets tonight? Good Charity Press Release dated March 7th 2013

So, you want to know why so many veterans are sleeping in the street do you? Well let me clue you in to one of the reasons thief. It is because a group of thieves decided to get together and steal the money from charity that should have gone to help them. You have got a lot of nerve even asking this question while you are hiring a bunch of conmen to claim they ARE veterans so they can up their paycheck by lying to donors. How many times in the Insight Teleservices office have you heard a non-veteran, claim to be a veteran so he can scam a donation that Insight is going to pocket 85% of the donated money. That?s 85 dollars out of 100 for a contract that you agreed to with the company that you were the director of development of. Then you are going to waste another 10% for admin costs, including you bloated salary, and if the vets are lucky they will see 5 bucks. Who are you to make decisions for veterans or to take a paycheck for something you have exactly zero experience doing, running a charity, especially a 50,000 dollar paycheck. So your fundraiser gets a suite at the Ritz, you get a room at the Ritz and you don?t even give the veterans enough to buy a freaking happy meal. There is something wrong in your head if you think that is acceptable. Or you think that we are not going to come after you for doing it. You need to take a long hard look at what you are doing and you will come to the realization that you are nothing more than a no talent hack thief conman that could not cut it as a LEGAL fundraiser and instead decided to steal from the very people you claim to help.
If you had even so much as a ounce of self-respect, you would fire Insight Teleservices and burn that contract you signed for stealing in the name of Good Charity Inc and your old friends, just as the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans did and you would sue them, just as the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans did. But you don?t, so you wont and it is obvious. Let me tell you something thief, we are not the Government, we don?t have to play nice with you. And if your AG wont do anything about you stealing from people in Il, PA, NY or any other state, we will.

http://www.cbs58.com/news/youve-got-to-be-kid ... l?m=y&smobile=y

That?s you, clown. That?s all the more reason you should not be putting these groups names on your site. Every time you do, your scam is popping up on a google search under their name and is damaging their group because of all your bad press. That is one heck of a price to pay for the few bucks you dole out. You are driving down their donations. See you give one of them 500 bucks, put their name on your site and they lose a 25,000 dollar donation when that donor researches them. But you don?t care, as long as you get your room at the Ritz. You and your pack of thieves are sick, and you need help.

SO, you drop 30 thousand a year on an office that is almost 2000 sq feet so you can feel important. Another 50 grand to pay your no talent professional fundraiser backside and now another 50 grand to hire out of country hackers to push down the bad stuff, that is true, about your fake group so you can continue to steal from United States Veterans and Women with Breast Cancer. That only leaves about 50 grand left out of 1.4 million a year for good works.

NE Corner of Civic Center & Norhtwestern Hwy.
Class A office building for a Class A hole in donors wallets. I like to know that charity scams are in the best digs, after all it is hard work to steal 1.4 million dollars a year while giving out a few hundred here and there. Let me ask you Brian, do you have an office for each of the scams inside of this Class A whole building? Maybe one room for the Veterans of Michigan scam and another for the National Veteran Scam, and still yet one more for the Veterans Wheelchair Games scam. There is plenty of room in that office you rented. V Source Music I am sure loved it too. Maybe you even have a Class A whole hall dedicated to medical scams and another to children?s scams. Missing kids on the left and kids affected by disaster on the right.
$35,375.45 is this what you are paying in rent for a group that only gets 180,000 of 1.4 million a year from the con men in your lying professional fundraisers office? The office I might add you are or were their director of development. Is this how you ?develop? a Class A whole business for those hacks. By setting up fake charities so they have something to call?

Your 990 clearly says that you don?t receive a salary from Good Charity Inc. Is that right Brian? Yet somewhere I read that you said the board approved around 50 grand for your pay and you claimed you could only take 80 or 85 thousand of it over 2 years.

Let me tell you something thief, the next time we come after your Class A whole fake charity, we can save all that money and just give you 3 hot?s and a cot next to Neil Thrasher in a MI prison. Since it is obvious that all you want is a paycheck funded with donations. I am afraid you will have to settle for a jail cell funded with tax dollars.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGiIOlKYI1c
Now come on Brian, you post up this video on your youtube channel so you can co-opt the work that this veteran group does for veterans in Michigan and then I will bet you have your scam fundraisers telling people when they call someone for a donation to go to youtube and type in Good Charity Inc and you will see the work we do. I am sick and tired of scum like you taking advantage of the people we protect and then using the good works of other legit groups so you can steal more money from them that they may have had a chance to have donated to them if your crap group did not exist.  And on top of that you would be telling people to go directly to youtube so they don?t see what the BBB and us say about you that takes up the first several pages of your google search on the names Brian Maiorana and Good Charity Inc.

What kind of a person steals from veterans and then hires Indian Hackers to suppress the truth about you to the detriment of the very people you claim to help. I got news for you, they don?t need you, we don?t need you, the BBB does not need you and all that being the case, why don?t you just pack it up and crawl back under the 1.4 million dollar rock you stole and came out from under before you wind up in prison. That is what a smart person would do.

And while I got you here, why don?t you tell me exactly where in your pitch your fundraiser said that some of the donation was going to go to damage the very people you claim to help by hiring web hackers in India to suppress the truth. You don?t get to use that money on anything you want, and you really don?t get to use it to continue your ability to steal from the American People. Plus, people in Mumbai don?t want to help you steal from women with Breast Cancer and children.

The United States is a little busy right now trying to keep hackers out of the country and you want to use charity money to import them. Are you out of your mind? Do yourself a favor, no matter how good you think your web hackers will be, we are better. These links below are not going anywhere so give that 50 grand to the Vets you told donors it was going to in the first place, scammer.

Out on Main Street though, there are some people trying to do their part to stem the tide of veteran homelessness. Organizations like Good Charity, Inc and the Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund. What groups like these do is raise money in a centralized and efficient way and disperse it to the most effective programs around the entire country for combating homelessness amongst veterans.

You lying dirt bag of a charity thief, at what point and in what alternate universe is stealing and then wasting 1.4 million dollars of donor money classified as ?EFFICIENT?? You must just think that we are 320 million idiots if you think no one can see the scam you are running. And all of it to provide a few jobs to lying sacks of crap at Insight Teleservices and so you can suck up a paycheck off the backs of people who fought and died for this country. You are pathetic.

When spending $1,350,000 million dollars to give away 50,000 grand becomes ?efficient? you let me and the rest of the English speaking world know, wont you.

Now, let me explain something else to you Brian Maiorana of Good Charity Inc. You should not be using the **** ******* to further your scam by plastering their name on your scams site. ********** would be appalled at what you are doing.

?The fraternity is widely involved in charity and community service activities. In contemporary times, money is collected only from the membership, and is to be devoted to charitable purposes.?

Where in there does it say it is ok for you to give a few bucks to the Cancer Center they support and then use the good name of ********** and the Cancer Center to drum up more stolen donations? Donations you obtained by hiring liars at Insight Teleservices, the company filled with your friends, to make phone calls for you at 85% of the donation.

I'm always leery about donating money to charities. So when I got a call from Good Charity Inc, asking for donations I did some research on them. They collect money for 5 or 6 kinds of charities, for groups like Veterans, breast cancer research, and terminally ill kids. I gave to the terminally ill children's fund, and I eventually ended up seeing one of their blog posts talking about the kid who (I guess) had a "make-a-wish" type day from the money that donors like me gave. not bad!!

Posting up scam reviews on yelp. I guess you just want to sink into all kinds of fraud. And btw, quit using the name ?make a wish? the only wish being made around you is your wish not to go to prison for charity fraud.

Special Projects
Non-profit organizations have an obligation to their donors to use the money they are given as wisely as possible.  The reality is that raising money can often be expensive.   As we continue to grow, our goal is to operate as lean as possible.  That is why we are excited to announce that we have created a list of special projects below where 100% of money donated will go to the intended cause.  This is an important step we are taking to give our donors? transparency and the peace of mind knowing that their contributions are going the furthest. At Good Charity Inc. we regularly contribute to a variety of wonderful organizations.  The financial support we lend is important, but more importantly, the opportunity to visit and speak with these groups allows us the chance to learn and understand what they see day to day.  We are grateful for these opportunities and the understanding we gain will help us make a bigger impact as we move forward. We hope that by watching these short videos you too can see why continued support is so necessary.  Below each video is a link where you can make your contribution.

You hack, what do you think, we are  stupid, we know exactly why you put this little piece of crap on your site, it is so you have an excuse when someone calls you on your crap for claiming that 100% of the money goes to the program. You and I both know you are already using that little scam line in every pitch coming out of the lying mouths of your thieves. What?s your plans Brian? Raise a grand and give away a grand and then when the AG calls you on it you can say, oh but we did give away 100% of THAT donation, the donor misunderstood. Your cleaver, but not that cleaver you thief.

How you managed to walk in to that Michigan Cancer Center and look at the faces of the kids you are stealing from knowing you are a thief is beyond me. There is a special place in hell for people that do things like that thief. Just look in their faces, you are pushing them down to push yourself up by using them. It is pathetic.  It?s a disgrace. I am embarrassed for my country that we have people like you in my country.
The last two sentences of this piece of fraud are very telling thief. You flat out say that you are diverting donations from both of the groups in the videos, one veterans and one cancer charity.

We hope that by watching these short videos you too can see why continued support is so necessary.  Below each video is a link where you can make your contribution.

That?s fraud thief. And it is enough to put you in prison for a very long time. And if a jury decides to only give you 20 years, then don?t you worry, we will be right here waiting for you.

So do you work for these crooks?  And the worst kind of charity is the one that has a lot of 'overhead' eating up donations.  Why don't you give more to them, and how do you know that no one on here gives to charties?  I give all the time, I just give it to ones that I know about, not strangers calling on the phone.  These 'board members' disguise themselves as charities and get big salaries and expense accounts, and give a very small percentage to the actual charity, if there really is one at all.

Who cares how much money the person collecting the money keeps, they're giving more money to charities than any of you are giving. Every charity has board members that get paid, expenses, overhead, etc. therefore it's the same thing. I think most people don't see the bigger picture, at least someone is giving to the charities in a big way.

I just got a call 2/2/13, and I didnt have my debit card # handy. I received the pledge form in the mail from Disabled and Paralyzed Veterans Fund. (I could have SWORN the man said he was calling for Disabled Police Officers though). I am ready to send my donation as I promised, but is this a scam or not? What is the # they are assigned to ID themselves (we need this for claiming it on our taxes next year). It s not on the pledge form so that makes me wonder. I was scammed before after donating for YEARS to a veterans fund..only to find out it was a group of thieves collecting my money. They got caught and I was supposed to go to court to testify against them! Thank God they pled guilty and I never had to go to court!  And here I am, trusting again!

I just received a call from someone who claimed to be from the Childern's Lukemia of America Fund and stated that I never made good on a donate I promised them this past January. Now, this is totally possible, since I receive many requests for donations from many different organizations. So, I went for my wallet, and just as I am about to recite my card number something told me HHHHHOOOOOLLLLLDDDDD on a minute here. I asked him for their website address, and went there to make my pledge. And I did. BUT!!!! I also decided to call the number noted on the web site because after hanging up with the caller, I tried to call him back at the number the original call came from, but no one answered.....not only that, but there was no message at the end of the 8 - 10 ring , or so. Funny, isn't it? What I found to be equally "funny" is that when I called the toll free number from their web site, although there was a "please leave your message at the tone", there was no introductory announcement tell you with whom you are leaving this message or who they are or ANYTHING!!!!! Quite funny. Who can we call to find out the legitimacy of this group?
