This was a recorded message from Allstate Insurance with some tips to protect your house from winter damage, such as remove snow from your roof, etc. I did not answer the call, as caller ID came up as 'unknown number,' but they did leave the recorded tip message on voice mail. When I called the 1-888-281-7541 number back, I got the same recorded message from Allstate Insurance. I do have house insurance coverage with Allstate, so for me, this was a legitimate call.

Grrr... Allstate with weather changes.... blah blah blah...

Also got the "water damage" robocall from Allstate. Harmless call.
This number must belong to a autodialing company that services multiple corporations.

Got a call this Saturday morning on my cell and I let it went to voicemail. All the message said was "What's up? For English press 1."

Annoying automated call reportedly from Allstate Insurance about storm damage with supposedly helpful hints to avoid further or future damage.  These are the same "Good Hands" folks that are reported to cancel you if you file a claim on your homeowner's policy. . . Obviously a contractor to Allstate.

I doubt it. I don't have a card, never had a Gap or Old Navy card, don't have a Visa either.  I'd say the scammer from this number put the forgoing phoney messages up

Automated message says it is GE Money Bank, calling to advise they sent a new card.  I don't know of other card companies who call their customers, most just send something in the mail.  GE Money bank is behind Lowes store credit cards and other store credit.  
They lure customers in with deals like 12 months same as cash, then if it's not all paid up after that, they charge interest RETROactively.  And APRs of around 25%.  In other words, they are sharks.  No law against being sharks in that way, however.

Got this as a missed call today; no message, but it would make sense that it was GAP/Old Navy/Banana Republic, just got a new card from them.
