Just about 20 minutes ago, i get a call from this number. They ask politely at first, then the transfer the call aothey called as their manager incharge. I give all the information about my cc. They promises me as below. They tried to charged my cc. But the transaction cant go through, luckily i dont save much money inside the cc. When they cant charged my cc. One they so called manager get pissed on me... What the hell.. Please confirm with me that this called was a people who tries to take my money. God..

I'm from Norway and I got a call from this number 001 8882836165 , they said that I had won the green card lottery and lot's of b***s***. I told them to call me back later cause I was sleeping. They called me back the next day, I was at work at that time so I told them to call me back later. They called at the nursing home where I work.. I didn't give them my work phone number.. don't know how they got that number. Anyways, I spoke to the same person again today, told her that she should stop trying to get money out of me..and that was she was doing was fraud! She said, "well have a nice life in Norway then". Yes I will.. Norway is a great contry, the nr 1 contry to live in actually. Someone should stop these people.. They asked me for 495 euros.. which I also thought was wierd, we don't use euro in Norway.

Hi. I always wanted to go to the US and study so I found a blog where i found information on how to get there and a lot of info about visas.

On the blog she linked a website that said that I should fill in email, name and number. BIG MISTAKE. Altho I didnt know it then.

So they call me today, about 24 hours from when I entered this info. I thought it was true, and I talked to this girl Jennifer (that did not quite sound american....) and I fell for everything.
I didnt even think about the fact it was werid that she knew I was from Sweden and that I was single.
I just went with it and was completely blinded by that they said I had a big chance of going to America.

So I gave them my credit card info. (My bank account was empty, tho.. Lucky me?) And after two tries the manager guy that I got to talk to said that it wasnt working and that I needed to contact my card company which was visa and that they will call me back in 30 minutes.

During this time I went on the internet and looked up if anyone else had had this phonecall.
By then I figured out that this was too good to be true.
Next thing I did was calling my card company, cancelling my card.
Phew.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

Its a fraud. The caller is a thief.  

Call the bank that issued your credit card.  The number is on the back of the card and on the statement.  Cancel the card.  Do it NOW!.  Quick before the thief spends all of your money.

They call me also..is this a fraud?

I got call many times from this number, called by a lady and she asked me to give the credit card number and asked me to pay 151 EURO to proceed my green card lottery as she is able to arrange the green card.
