I am on the no call list and still have ding-alings calling me all the time.....

I've used Stanley Steemer a number of times and they have always done a great job. They are professional, careful, polite, and thorough. They have never called me before...this is the first time. I call them, usually, when I receive notice by mail that they are running a special discount. I didn't answer this call because the number wasn't ID'd. They have always moved all the furniture that was able to be moved by 2 people, but I do remove knick knacks, lamps, etc. I don't let them move the china cabinet. Don't bother telling them you have no carpets...they now have service for cleaning/refinishing hardwood floors...LOL.

I used Stanley Steemer to clean my carpets once, and now my phone rings about once a week from
"S Stanley." I want this to stop! I don't think they did a good job. Spots on the floor were still there when they left. Just stop calling me!

got this call on my cell phone. Don't know who it is. It's annoying! I guess if it IS Stanley Steamer, I have used them before. They don't leave a message though

I used them and they did fine. However as other ppl have noted here they call and call! I answered the first time and talked to them, and told them i would call if and when i need them again... i.e. don't call us we'll call you... But they don't get the hint!

Calls, never leaves a message.  Very annoying.  I never answer an unknown #.

I keep getting calls and I see from others that it's probably Stanley Steemer. I had them clean some tile last year and I keep getting unknown calls. I think I'll avoid them if this is their repeat biz strategy

Calls my cell number about once a month. No message. Added this number to my blocked callers like this: Sprint Customers can now block incoming calls by logging into their account:  My Sprint > My account > My preferences > Block voice > ...

I have tried to return calls to this number and the phone is dead.  I am reporting them as I am on the "Do Not Call" list.  I have been advised that it is Stanley Steamer!  Thank you for your help!

So, if someone called you and said they were with XYZ Bank - would you believe them?  When these people call to set up and appointment to clean your carpets, guess what they want?  That's right - your credit card info to secure the appointment.  Now, I ask you - what would you rather do?  Give this "Stanley Steemer" rep your credit card info (if you really want your carpets cleaned) OR are you going to hang up and call back the number you know FOR SURE is them?  Yep, I'm going to hang up and call back the number from Stanley Steemer's website to set-up that appointment.  Just saying!

Yes, Stanley Steemer reps broke a bottle of wine I had been saving for a special occasion, screwed up my wood floors and the carpets still looked dirty when they left. It reminded me of the 3 stooges.

I answered the call but there was nobody there.  I immediately called back and it was in fact Stanley Steamer.  The man said they were checking to see if any cleaning was needed.  I advised that we would call if we needed them again and he seemed to be OK with that.

You did a great job when I wanted it, now loose my number, take it off your list.

Simple, I just used my Block/number feature on my phone. They have always done a good job for me but I don't want them to call, "don't call me, I'll call you"!

Also, some posts say this number is for someone soliciting for Stanley Steemer; other posts say it is a scam and not a legitimate representative of Stanley Steemer.  Does anyone know for certain the truth about this number?

I made a point of requesting that my phone number be on the "no call" list.  How is it that this company can call and solicit?

Yeah, it's Stanley Steemer. I called them back from my work phone, and insisted that they stop calling me. The guy claimed that he would add my name to their do not call list so we'll see what happens.

Remember, NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION to someone calling you out of the blue over the phone.  If they say they're from Stanley Steemer or some other company, then hang up and LOOK-UP/VERIFY THE NUMBER YOURSELF and CALL THEM BACK.

I don't know this phone number. I don't want to get this phone call again if not I will report not only from here and I will report with the police and the detective.

Stanley Steamer did a great job for us! They not only clean our carpets, they also did our wood floors. It was worth EVERY cent we spent!

If you call they will remove you from their list. ESPECIALLY if you explain to them you have two newborns they are waking up. I did explain we do use their service and we will be happy to call them when WE are ready to call.

Received a call on my cell phone at 7:50 pm on 11/14/2011. and 7 pm on 11/18/2011. I did not answer it. I used Stanley Steamer once several years ago. They did not leave a msg.
