keep getting calls from this number as well  888 287-1358. I answer and there is nobody there. I call it back and music payed for 5 minutes, then i hung up .

I found the number on my caller ID.

I just started receiving these calls after signing up for a scholarship contest through NelNet / FastWeb, which claims it was a legit company, but now they have given my number out to companies trying to get me into schools when I am already attending college.  A nuisance, and I am reporting them to nelnet/FastWeb.

The company that is doing this is FreeCollegeScholarships, located at 135 Townsend St, Suite 620, San Francisco, CA 94107.

Someone repeatedly calls my cell and when I call the number back all I get is foolish music.

They have called me twice today. They just started calling today, but I registered for the same drawing thing on scholarships4moms.com last week. Some sort of telemarketing for sure. I will be answering tomorrow. If they continue to call I will file a complaint as well! Thanks for the info!

Call from 888-287-1358, didn't leave a message. Probably picked up my number from my resume which is listed on many job boards, so the college info posted here makes sense.

this number called me just a few minutes ago about education. told them to stop calling and hung up. if they keep calling, i'm reporting them for harassment.

by the way, the do not call list does not work. i put my number on it twice and i still get calls. plus, any time you apply for jobs online, your number gets sent to an education adviser.

i got this call from this number 1882871358 and had some indian guy ask me questions about college for the next 10 minutes. not only was i not interested in any of the schools he mentioned,he was hard to understnad and kept askng for personal info. i dont know how he got my number unless it was from a site i used to get college scholarships. 3 minutes after i got off the phone,kaplan university called me. i promptly hit the on and off button.that whole phone call was a waste of time!!!!!

I started getting e-mails from this company and once I unsubscribed the phone calls started....

I have received multiple calls from this number. I've spent the last 3 days in bed fighting off a 102 fever and this call woke me so i finally picked up and they start talking so i cut them off an say "I'm trying to fight off a fever right now and you just woke me up from what little rest I've gotten since it started" and do you know what their response was? "This will only take 5 minutes of your time ma'am..... ma'am? Hello?" and I hung up. The nerve of some people.

Repeated calls at all hours, when I answer the phone there's no one on the other end.  I have even called the number back and rather than an answer, I only hear music.

I received at least 3-4 calls per day from this number. Every time I picked up they'd hang up on me. Finally I got some woman who says she is a "student educator" and wants to tell me about schools or something. I also couldn't really understand her as her English was not that great and she sounded far away. I told her I wasn't interested and to take me off the list. I hope this works!

Register you phone number on here if you haven't done so already then file a complaint once you've told them not to call and they still do.  I did.

Me too. I think it's because I signed up for a scholarship drawing on scholarships4moms.com I thought it might be a scam but didn't find stuff saying the drawing wasn't legit. The phone calls just keep coming, though.

This # has been calling continuosly, and I'm sick of getting these calls and no messages!  If this was an important matter they would have left message but I see that it's not this is just Marketing calls.

The numbers, 801-326-0554, 352-688-0374, 224-512-4131, and now a toll free number 888-287-1358 have been calling me every day for almost 2 weeks now from 8am to 7:30pm on week days AND WEEKENDS- I finally started answering because of the alarming number of unrecognized numbers that kept calling my CELL PHONE. Sometimes they say they're a baby supply company and other times an educational website- and yet they always ask for the same person and claim she singed up on their website. They always ask for Foxy (Something) and I've told them 4 times they have the wrong number, 4 times to take me off their list and the last 2 times I've threatened to file a harassment report against them!! And the woman this time gave me the generic name- Tony Smith. They're calling me multiple times a day!

I get multiple calls on my business cell a day from this number. They never leave a msg. If I do pick up it is music and then someone asks for a person with an Arabic sounding name. They always ask for the same person. I have asked to be removed from whatever list this may be yet they still call.

Same thing here.  Number called me, didn't leave a message.  Called it back and only get music.  I have an extra phone line with a Magic Jack, so I called it back and have left it on hold for hours so far.  I guess I will leave it on  hold for weeks and let them rack up a bill.

Keep calling them back then leave your phone off the hook.  It's gotta cost them money to accept calls on a toll-free number.  Maybe they'll get the hint.

Got a call from 888-287-1358 i answered and they hung up i guess it was my wifes phone so they didn't want to talk to a guy. They didn't say a word to me, and when i called back i got music only nothing else.
