Boy you are lucky.  They scammed me out of $500.  They said I owed $2006 to Continental Finance (actually they lied about that too - I owed them $800.  They said it would show paid in full an my credit score would go up by 10 points.  Continental finance had a different company do their collections and even if I paid AG Financial $500 they would not reflect that on Contiental finance debt.  Now I can't get ahold of AG Financial.  They disappeared.

WAS THIS ALLIED GUARANTY FINANCIAL?  They are calling me telling me if I dont pay them they are going to serve me with papers to garnish my wages and take me to court. Is this company legit I owed the money to HSBC they sold it to another company in 6 months it was sold 3 times and they are now saying that allied has this I am unsure what to do if I could afford to pay it off dont you think I would have done that already there threats are scarry

They keep calling me. I ask who they are,claiming the credit card company is taking me too court for
$1400 doallars but all they want is $462.00   I don't know who these people are. They end up calling my job telling my boss I'm under investigation on 11/2011. I don't know what to believe.

This people contacted me at my job for a several year debt when I was unemployed. When I arrived at work I was called into my Human Resource and told that  someone from this number 8882890332 was calling to serve me a summons and that they would be coming to my job to serve me. This person also, demanded that I settle with them by the end of the day or I would be served on my job.

You don't pay some bill because some hamhead on the phone is bullying you to.  They have to prove you actually owe the bill in writing and mail it to you.

The excact thing happened to me asking my wife about my son and he has court in the morning Monday @ 10:00, he doesn't even live in this state and my wife was frecking out. Trying to get in touch with him and ask if he had a court apperence. Thank you for sharing I will tell my wife that it must be a collector.

Ok got another and another call they try to sound reall abrupt to intimidate you.. Well I admit I was at first then he calle dmy exfather in law then my job and left a nasty voice mail about serving me a summons on the Doctors (my boss's) voicemail the emergency office voicemail for all to hear.. this is not legal.  A good friend of my son's mothe ris a collections shark! she said statue of limitations for one and he is not allowed to call and leave these messages its illegal.....They say they are a process erver and they are coming to serve me also I asked him to please send me documentation as to the debt  a paoper something he said yelling WE ARE NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE I DONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU", THEN I said well I dont have to listen to your nastiness... by law he cant call me back for 7 days.

This number calle dmy EX fatherinlaw's house and told them my private information that they needed to serve me legal papers... I have not called back yet because I am so pissed they told my non family member and then calle dmy job a doctors office lefft the message on the answering machine for all to hear.....

Did they ever file against you?  I'm trying to take care of this and asked them to send me paperwork but they refused.

Scott u must be in lala land, no I don't believe anyone should just not pay what they owe, expect cases of some sort of hardship, It looks u work for one of those credit card companies, or insurance comp. U must think whatever underhanded tactics those companies do to all of us we all should bend over and take it up the tail pipe and just say thank you. so u just go get rheemed. and by the way, If  they talk U into a sweet hart deal, just remember your credit score will still be S***, you will have gained nothing!! I had a phone call with these people from 888-289-0332, saying that they have mail me court paper to the address in Virginia, I don't live there any longer its been 7 years now, that owe some money for a credit card that I do not remember, the thing is that they are sending the paper to the payroll department to wage my check, if the do this i wont have a way to live or the pay rent. I ask for some information and they wont give it to me etc, I am soo worry i dont know what else to do know since im only a part time worker. Any any information that you can share with me will be much thankful for it..

Did your son ever pay his bill? They called me to and i do remember the debt so i just check with hsbc and they told me that agf did own this and i paid it. You guys sound like loser just pay your bill.

I can be honest, i lost my job and these people are trying to get there money that i borrowed back, but i just dont have it but i am a christian and i dont believe in what you people are saying that you know that this is your bill and you will not pay them back, how dare you. i am paying them 100.00 and there are working with me to close this. you people are some evil people.
