Yes My husband was contacted by a kevin shaw. Unbelievable!!! They are long gone now. probably with millions. The only thing I can think of that I have is the name of the lady who the money went to in canada. Her name was Sarah Blagman. Now I don't know but, in the states you need an I.D. To get the money. SoOo maybe they do that in Canada? So is it a real person or she might use a fake I.D. I have a hole in my pocket worth $800.00. These people make me sick. I can go as far to say I want to hurt them myself!!!

Micheal murphy called and told me I was approved for 25000 loan

I talked to a Michael Murphy a few hours ago. He said I was approved for a $6000 loan put needed $1050.00 up front with no payments until May 2010.

I have talked to a so called stanley shepherd and a kevin shaw anyone else that has been scammed by this rosedale financial PLEASE call the New York attorney generals office if they get enough people they will investigate and hopefully catch these people. I can't believe I fell for this loan scam. I am out 800.00 and now when I call back I realize that I wont get the promised loan or the 800.00 I wired to them. I hope that this "Michael Murphy" fake loan officer gets hit by a train! I feel sooooo stupid.

Requiring that you pay several months upfront is ILLEGAL!  Once you wire that money - you do not get a loan and the phone numbers and email addresses no longer work.

THEY PREY ON PEOPLE WHO REALLY NEED THE MONEY AND HAVE BAD CREDIT!  those who can least afford to Lose money.

This is an "advance fee loan scam". You will usually be asked to WIRE the money somewhere via Money Gram or Western Union because this makes it virtually impossible to trace.

If you fall for it once, you will have another opportunity. They will call you again and tell you the loan fell through, but they have found yet another lender, only thing is you have to send more money. This will be repeated as many times as necessary.

You should report this to law enforcement, even if they didn't get your money. WAAAAAAY to many people are falling for this.

Good chance they're a scam.  888-290-0560 ext 261.  I requested a $25000 loan just out of curiosity because I declared bankruptcy in 2003 and had it discharged in 2006.

Guy told me he was very good at what he did.  A day and a half later he called back and told me "None of the major financial institutions will touch you because of the bankruptcy.  (It's high risk)  
"I have good news.  You're approved for the full $25,000".  "Your payments will be $178. over 20 years at 6% interest.  Only thing is this is a private lender and they want collateral.  12 months payment in advance.  $2136.00.  But that means you won't have any payments until 2010."  

I'm done with this company and individual.  If it sounds too good to be true, It usually is.  This representative is a smooth talker and probably a fast walker with the up front money after you pay it.  Not only does he have $2100 or whatever.  He has your bank account #.  Think about it guys.

Then don't do it.

I applied for a student loan and when this number called the gentleman's name was Greg Burnett or Burdett x561. from Rosedale Financial but I can't get this number to come up or the name Rosedale Financial to come up in a search.
