Third party sales company for verizon. They will lie and tell you that you are over your minutes to get you to upgrade your plan. Even when you are not.

I received on of these text messages on July 9th and the message was "From 900-070-002217: Free VZW MSG: 1 of your lines exceeded its voice allowances by $10 or more. If haven't already updated your plan, call 888-290-0724. Reply Q to opt out. CB:888-290-0724"
I called Verizon Wireless directly and was told that this was a fraud and that I should give no information to these people. I also checked my account using the #MIN feature and was well below my monthly allowance on minutes used.
DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE!!

I just got one of these and the reason that I know it to be fake is because I have an UNLIMITED plan. Don't respond or call. This is fake

Okay, so after I got this message, I came here and posted. I went to Verizon Wireless website and looked at my minutes. They were well under my 1400 limit. However, when I later saw my bill online I was WAY over my minutes to the tune of an extra $100!! I am going to contact Verizon after I get my paper bill. Will post here after I find out what is going on.

Just got the same text message - it's not formatted as a valid Verizon text, which normally say "VZW_FREE_MSG", not "FREE VZW MSG".

I just got this message 5 mins ago and something looks suspicious. First off I only have one line, and secondly I'm not over my minutes. I called verizon, the woman i spoke to said they do send out similar messages and it could have been a fluke....but I still think it's fake and should be ignored.

I got this text message yesterday and immediately knew it was a fake. I called the number back and it was obviously not Verizon. I also reported this directly to Verizon as this is obviously a scam.
