Guys, here's a thought... and JUST a thought... Tell that caller that you need a few seconds to get "comfortable for the call", then proceed to ask them what they're wearing and if they like phone-sex, also. Whether it's a man, or better yet, the girl with the exotic accent, let them know that you are REEEEELY going to enjoy your time with them on the phone. Then get to the muffled-groans and such... No matter what their response is, you've put them off their game, and you'll either get a dial tone, or be piped-in over the company intercom for all to enjoy. Happy phoning! [ewwwwwwww...]

I've recieved many calls from this number from a person named Jennifer Phillips. She states that I owe a debt to a cash advance place and yes I do but I had set up payment arrangements with that company. She then told me that it had been transferred to them so I went ahead and set up the same arrangement with them. I put money on a prepaid card and the money sat there for over 30 days. They are threatening to file Check fraud against me and put me in jail. I've since tried to set up a satisfactory information because the prepaid card has said that there is no records of the card trying to be charged. She states they've tried to charge it several times. After the money sat there 30 days or so I kept trying to call her and could get ahold of her so I left messages. She denies this now it's back to the same thing almost 2 months last and now the calls are getting more abusive. Any suggestions? A lady called from this number today and asked to verify my company's info for an online directory. She said the update is FREE. After I provided the updated info, she then transferred the call to a guy (with a very strong accent) who identified himself as a "Quality Controller". I tried to tell him several times that I have no time to continue this conversation, but he won't let me go. (I should've just hung up the phone at this point.) The guy also mentioned that the update is FREE. It seemed that he was recording my verification. After the verification process was done, he hung up. Then, I heard a fast-talking recording about the local and long distance phone bill-- it was so fast and I couldn't get it clear. Both the lady and the guy told me that I will be receiving an update confirmation in mail. I'M NOW WORRIED IF THIS IS SOME KIND OF RIP-OFF OR SCAM. I hope that my company really won't have to pay anything about this. NEXT TIME, I WON'T BE NICE TO THIS KIND OF CALLS!!!

Same "MO" as others, updating biz directory. I confirmed what info they already had with the gal with the accent. I run a home transcription biz, by the way. Then she had to switch me to a supervisor to complete the process. When I got to him I lost my patience and told him I was ending the call. He said if I didn't give him the info I'd be getting lots more calls from them. I said, "This sounds like harrassment" and hung up and haven't gotten another call from them.

If you wait long enough they answer, then some foreign guy or girl wants to get information under the guise of updating some website. They called me today, January 22, about every 3 minutes until I answered. I told them that this was harassment and that if they called again the next person to answer would be my attorney. That seems to have stopped it for now.

I have tried to block this number, 888-296-1363, but for some reason ATT call blocker won't take it.  What's up with that?  I've emailed ATT about it and am awaiting their response. I've also tried to call it back (1-888-296-1363 and it won't ring.  Making me freakin' mad!

Called 9:30 am, answering machine picked up, he kept saying hello,hello.
called back 5 minutes later, I answered, nothing on the other end. Again
5 minutes later, called I answered, nothing.  Forth time they called I answered and the same man who left the stupid message the first call was on the other end. He started babbling about something, broken english hard to understand, I interupted him and told him he called me 4 times in less than 15 minutes,and if he didn't take me off his list and stop calling me I would call the BBB.   It is now an hour later and so far no more calls.
I did file a complaint on the "Do Not Call Registry".

Called my business phone and said nothing, initially. then called back in 15 min to confirm my business name then wanted to sell me an add. the lady was from India.

I got four calls total (3 from this number) within 1 hour.  Domainsbyproxy mentioned above is a fake registration site used to shield spammers.

Got 7 calls from this number today (1.19.10) to N. Virginia; when I tried calling the number back, it self dis-connects without ringing after 15-20 seconds,which I've never seen happen before.

they keep calling and don't say anything. don't want to talk to them.  i will be filing a police report on them and hopefully when the police officer arrives these idiots will call.  this is called phone harassment.

this number has called 3 times in 1 day and just repeats...Hello...hello...i have redirected the number back to their own number thru my voip account so the next time they call, they will be ringing their own number! Maybe the scammers will get the person sitting next to them in their phone room. LOL

I got a call from this # & when they transfered me to verify the info was correct, the guy was wanting me to say I was a business operator!  He would not accept my real title as a receptionist, he wanted me to say business operator, probably so they could bill our business for some crap that we don't want & I can get fired for lying about my position!!!!  What a scam!

I have been repeatedly contact by this company Daily. I have asked them to please take my business of their list, and they claimed once I went through the authorization process and gave them all my personal information, they than would not call me till next year. One girl named Tracy said "look what are you afraid of?, if you would like us to stop calling than just answer all the questions." Very unprofessional. I called them and told them and spoke with "George" and told them if I receive one more phone call from them, I will not hesitate to call the Better business Bureau.

Forgot to mention.... call their toll-free number and tie up their operators with complaints about their crap calls.  

That is the info to provide when you complain to government about their not honoring DO NOT CALL.  

Also complain to the domain registrar about their hiding a company engaged in illegal activity, and if a class-action suit comes to pass, THEY are going to be in it.

Calls repeatedly!  Several times a day!  They tell me they are checking my FREE business ad for accuracy and are not selling anything, then want to ship me FREE "green" materials that I need to return in a period of time if I don't want to keep it...then I pay for it.  They don't exactly tell you all that, you have to pry out the part about your being stuck owing them money if you don't return their products.  I gave them no information, then I refused their info, and told them to take my name off their list and they hung up on me....only to call back an hour later.....then again the next day on my other phone number and on it's been going for 4 days now!!! Now, I don't answer or am too rude for words.

Just received a call from this number.  The woman caller attempted to verify my business address for some free advertisement.  When I asked her who she was and what business she was calling from, she began to explain and the call was terminated mid sentence.  When I attempted to call her back the phone didn't even ring.

We receive calls from this number.  I have answered and heard noise as described above.  When they come on the line I ask them who they are, they say they want to renew our business listing.  I tell them we are not interested.

Caller advised he was verifying information on record for our free advertising in some type of business directory.  I advised him that we are not a business, that we are a public agency and we do not advertise.

Reveived calls from this number 3 times on 11-13-2009. No answer and does not leave message on called ID. Very annoying.

First time they called me, but boyfriend is receiving same calls, coincidence?

There was lots of noise in the background, sounded like lots of people talking, really sounded like they were out at an eatery or something, could hear social talking and what sounded like silverware, weird!

I said hello twice, no answer, I sat and listened in for a minute or so and they finally hung up.

I don't remember if it was the same number that we blocked from my boyfriend's home phone, but they called back with another number.

What do these people want?? They're not talking or asking for anything, so why call, what are they looking for??

I'm getting calls from this number constantly. Sometimes no one is there. Sometimes they'll ask for a company name that I've never heard of. Really suspicious.
