I want they to stop calling me now! :-(

Did not have caller ID, but they claimed to be calling from this number. Two guys with Indian accents (one goes by the name of Frank Williams) started calling the office and had very detailed personal information of a worker, telling her she defaulted on a payday loan.  They claimed to work for Financial Infraction Division based out of Florida, and that they're the legal department for US Cash Advance. However, when asked to show proof of an outstanding payday loan, they refused and began harassing the office workers. This is MOST DEFINITELY a scam. If you search for "US Cash Advance" at the Better Business Bureau's website, there's mention of this.

I have been receiving numerous calls from this number and have asked "Allen Crew" to stop calling my job and said he would not.  He asks for my lawyer information and will not give me any information.  I called them today trying to get a fax number, and would not give it out.  Simply wants to speak to a lawyer and has not sent out any information such as a letter.  I have filed with FTC and the Attorney General in Texas.  I'm really frustrated with this and want it to end.

Have been receiving calls from 888-296-4293 at work. Wanting to talk to me and when they tell them I'm not in they work to speck with my boss. I've talk to them once at work and told not to call there anymore, but they refuse to stop calling. The names are americans name but indians speaking men. Peter Johnson, Don Scott, Sean Mickeals poses as a lawyer, John Parker and Officer Scott. Company names US National Bank and Financial Infruction Division. The Better Business issured a national altert about these people also.

I have received many calls this week from 18882964293 and a lady named Angina (or at least what that I got out of it because of the accent) has been nasty with me. I told her that I could not receive personal phone calls at work and also asked her what the matter was regarding. Se told me that it was a legal matter and that she could not tell me the details until I give her my social security number, address, and bank account number to verify me. Give me a break! Does she think I was born yesterday? They actually called a family member of mine and told her that she was involved in a criminal matter with me and they needed my address. She told them if she had been involved in a legal matter, the police know where she lives and they would come get her. She said better yet, this phone call is being recorded and I'm bringing it down to the local police station, he hung up. This is absolutely ridiculous that these people can keep calling the workplace! For example, they called me 6 times within a two hour period today at work. Isn't there a way we could track these people down or even just stop the phone calls?

This place is calling the Program I run in Delaware City asking for one of my employees. They continue to call numerous times within minutes. When my receptionist ask for a name he told her "John Baker". This man then called back seconds later and told the same receptionist"stupid lady, did you think I would really give you my real name?" I then called and spoke to a man with an Indian Accent who identified himself as "Jacob Minner" he also stated he was a supervisor. I told him if they called again I would call the authorities. He said ok and hung up. This was not a call to a cell phone. It was to a business phone.

I just received a call from 1-888-296-4293 and spoke wiht a Robert Davis and they said I had a loan from May 2007 for like $320 or $380. I have taken out payday loans before but do not recall this and know I have paid them back. Plus this is 2 years ago. Why would they call now claiming they can take me to court. They want me to write a letter saying I will pay them and give them my credit card information so they can process the payment. Are they SCAMMERS??? And how do they get my SS#. I need help please. I told him to call back in a bit so I can check my account. And how do I stop the calls at work? Has anyone really went to court?

These people were calling me and i called my lawyer, found out this is a scam.  He has called called several times and the people who are based out of Texas, keeps hanging up on him.  People should be ashamed of what they are doing, isnt there enough going on with the economy than having a bunch of crooks calling around trying to steal from innocent people.    This lady, Angelica, claiming to be with Federal Leg. Dept. is a fake.  She is a theif and anyone else that call from her company, which does not exist, is a thief.  They are pretending to call on behalf of a company that does not exist..."a payday loan co."

I received a call from 888-296-4293, or at least that is what I was told was the return call #.  I hit *69 and was given the message the call could not be traced.  I was told I was speaking with Nathan Davis and the call was regarding a legal matter.  I told this "Nathan" that I was not able to receive personal phone calls at work...he then stated it was not personal.  I asked for a number where I could call them back at and was given the above referenced 888#.  I told this "Nathan" that I would have to call back but I wanted to know what it was in reference to.  He said he would transfer me to his office because he was not able to give me any information.  So he transferred me which seemed like he handed the phone off to someone else who was named Rachel Williams.  "Rachel" told me that the call was in regards to a payday loan I had not paid from US Cash Advantage that was taken out in July 2008.  I have no idea if I took this loan out or not so I asked for her to email or fax me some information. SHe said they already had and the only way I could obtain any documents was for them to send to my attorney and asked for my attorney's name. I told her I did not have one and I would check in to this matter. I have received calls like this before supposedly from other payday loan companies and been threatened many times.  If I owe $ I will pay it but this harassment has to stop!  The people I spoke with have an middle-eastern accent/dialect and would not provide me with enough information to check the validity of this. Based on past experience - I plan on disregarding this call UNLESS they can provide information in writing that I can verify from my end.  It is ridiculous that people can harass hard working persons with scams like this.

I received a call from 888-964-4293 they said i owed a US payday loan... and they kept calling my job and said they will not stop calling and talked to my boss and was asking for my payroll infomation...this is a big scam i called my lawyer had them call them and they kept puting them on hold....I called the attorney general and is going to look into this to make sure this stops...

Trust me you are better off not talking to them. They are scammers, and not very good ones. They hang out on blogs and comment to a lot of them trying to scare people.  They have called me from numerous numbers over the past 6 months. They generally have all your personal info and want you to verify it. DON'T do that. They are calling for a PayDay Loan with US Cash Advance that you supposedly owe on. They will claim to be from a lawfirm but yet don't speak english, they sound indian. They will threaten you with illegal procedures.
Best thing to do is report them to the FTC and attorney general for your state.

E...dont give them any info they will rob your bank account.they are scammers they want your info so they can clean out your bank account and they do call from india...by law there not supposed to call your job if you tell them but that wont stop them just tell your boss its a scam and i cant stop them from calling..ask them to validate the debt and of course they cant and by fdcpa law if they dont validate you dont pay...go to budhibbs.com and read his web-site and you will see that they are thieves or bottom feeder debt collectors and also he sometimes gets a lawyer to help you

I have been recieving calls at work from this number.  I talked to A Roger Clark and then his "supervisor" Ace Mclean, and was told I have defaulted on a payday loan with Us Cash Advance,whicah I know I haven't had a payday loan thru. I was supposed to call back to this number and give them my debit card number and fax a letter to them to authorize them to withdraw th emoney from my acoount. I am glad that I checked the number online, and found out the info about this scam before I lost $400.  I also contacted the actual company that I have a payday loan thru, and they asked me for any numbers or contact info I had recieved, and recommended that I file a report with the local police.  That was on Tuesday, Roger called my work today and left a new number to call him(and called at 4 times in under 2 hours.

Theses idiots have been calling me for months reguarding a pay day loan that my daughter took out. I'm not even the one that took the pay day loan. And they told me that I was under criminal investgation along with my daughter.
  So far, they don't know her phone number. They was wanting me to give it to them. I knew this was a scam, but didn't know what to do about it.
So, thank you to the one that listed the numbers to call. That will be first on my list in the morning.
Also, the same people (if we can call them that) has called me on 3 different numbers.
  Every body keep calling whoever on them. I agree this has to stop.

received numerous calls from a number showing up on caller id as 0000. could not provide information as to the amount of the dept, contact information, and could not provide documents proving the validity of the loan. hung up when the pressure was on them. i got them to stop calling for almost a week by stating at the beginning of the conversation that they were being recorded and that i knew that it was a scam, not to call me ever because they were not going to get any money from me. how can this continue?

Okay I recieved a call from a "Dean Smith" from the same company. He called me at work, had all my personal informantion and stated that I owed US Cash advance monies from a payday loan that I've defaulted on. Long story short I contacted my local police (non-emergancy) department and filed a complaint. In addition I contacted the FTC (Federal Trade Commision). Oh! I also contacted the cash advance in question and got them to send me a letter stating that I don't owe them anything. Here is the number to US Cash Advance: 1-859-594-4300. When I told them that I've contacted my local police deptatment and I realize that they are a phony company they hung up. Haven't heard from them since. Hope this helps.

I have received many phone calls at my place of work from Sam Scott as well. He said that it is a legal matter. When my co-workers and several Managers tell him that I'm not in. He keeps calling back and telling them that they are lieing to him. He won't stop calling my place of work. I called him back once from my cell phone to ask him to send me legal papers on this matter and now he has my cell number as well. He keeps either harrassing me at my place of business or my cell phone. I wish someone would do something about this. It is really fustrating.

gill...Thank you very much! I did just report them to the FTC and asked if I need to do anything else but they said I should at least contact my ban. I did not give them that information though. I am worried such that they have my social security number. When I asked them politely for the documentation of such debt I owe and I will gladly take care of it, they told me "of course" but in order to do so we need to receive a payment first. Then when I tried to tell them about me contacting the FTC and info I received from teh Fair Debt Commissions they started to get loud and overtalk me and kept asking for my lawyers info. Has anyone even had to go to court over this? The FTC said they have not heard of anyone going because it is a scam. Thanks!

I have been receiving phone calls from 888-296-4293 and they stated that I owed money to United cash from Feb 2008 they said the original debt that I owed was from some payday cash advance and was for $290, the total bill including lawyers fees and other fees came to $2140 but they would be willing to settle within 24 hours for $637.  A man going by the name Hector continuously called my place of business two to three times a day.  I can lose my job for that.  They also stated that they were trying to reach me because someone was using my identity and I needed to call them asap.   My wife called them and asked them to stop calling my job, this guy David Cooper (right...most indians do not have names like that) told her that I had committed three felony crimes such as Collateral Check fraud and Theft By Deception.  I'm with AC do they think I was born yesterday. They threatened to file these charges with my local court and we plainly stated BRING IT ON.We will be filing a complaint as well with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission.

I just received a call from this number and it was the same senero, the man who originally called me was Bob Cooper from 646-597-9030.  I called back the next business day and spoke to a Shawn Michael who told me that I took a loan out with US Cash Advance, which I did not.  He gave me this number 1-888-296-4349.  I called it and spoke with a nice customer service rep who just purchased the number.  This is a SCAM.  DON'T GIVE ANY INFORMATION!!!

Theirs this guy calling me everyday named paul walker, henry and dean smith. they say that i took a payday loan out and they have been contacting me by email and i have a lawsuit against me and i had a court date on monday at 8:30 A.M. I have be getting harassed by these people for a few months. They are very rufe and yelling threw the phone so i started to yell back and said i was going to call the police and they will stopped calling for a while and now their calling again.

We are having the same issue at work with one of my employees.  In one day they contacted us 26 times in a 5 minutes spane.  What did you do to get them to stop calling??????

i  got the same call form henry, then john baker and jeff......they yell at me and when i ask them for some kind of proof, they can never send me anything....i checked my bank statements to see is i could find a us cash advance and i couldn't find anything...then my bank account was blocked because someone was trying to hack into it. when they call  me the number comes up as 0000, and they call my phone back to back. i had 17 missed calls from them. so i've been harassing them for the pass cuople of days, and they are getting aggravated with me

I Recived calls from a Karen Madison. She is so freaken rude. She threaten to have "legal bodies" come and get me from an address I havent l;ived at in years. She left my SS# on my mothers answering machine. She needs a check of her brain I think. And I talked to Eric and he was jsut as rude too so Screw them all
