Recorded voicemail message from 'Vincent Gray' Almost every day...doesn't say who he is with or the purpose of his call. SICK OF IT!

Keep getting a call from this number and get the same recorded Voicemail supposedly from Vincent Gray. Interesting how they use colors for the last names in all of the messages. If this were a legitimate debt collector, wouldn't the message be required to say "This is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained...blah blah blah...???

Receiving almost daily messages from "Vincent Gray". I have an unlisted number and am on state and federal do not call lists. I have no debt whatsoever (fortunately). Why is this happening? This kind of thing sickens me. Please make it stop!!!!!!!

I get the calls from Darryl Rose and now Vincent Gray - same voice. I did find this link to stop getting calls from them (Leading Edge Recovery Solutions) http://www.leadingedgerecovery.com/Help.aspx it says it will stop calls but not other type of collections. Don't know if it's a good idea or not.

Why this isn't illegal is a mystery to me. Same old story here, with "Vincent Grey" leaving the rare message. Have had "Steven Brown" often as well. Honestly, I've gotten so used to it, as this has been happening for a number of years now. We mostly hit 'ignore' or pick up/hang up quick. The fact that this is on my cell phone, and that I have put my number on the do-not-call list before, irks me. The fact that my 8 month old daughter might be disturbed from her sleep by these calls at literally all times of day and night...that starts to piss me off. I worked once as a fundraiser for my university, calling alumni for donations, so I try to be understanding to some telemarketers or campaign fundraisers. But this is on a completely different level, bordering serious harassment. If any stranger--hell, anyone you know--called you this incessantly, you would be able to call the cops and file a complaint. But because it's a sham company, it's somehow protected under a free market? This cannot be legal.

I also get these calls just like all of these messages above.  I totally agree with all of you.  I too am a single mother with an abusive exhusband and I do not intend on answering these calls.  I am thinking of emailing to get them to stop but what if they hack into my email too.  I am sick of these calls and it is very frustrating.  Don't know what to do...

It would appear to me, Leading Edge Recovery Solutions either does not know the FCC rules or chooes to ignore them.
FCC says that a company cannot use Automatic Dialers when calling Wireless because there are charges to the consumer. In my case, Leading Edge Recovery Solutions is trying to contact someone who apparently listed my number. I have "owned" this number for 4 years.
I explained to the Supervisor that FCC states the Automatic Dialer cannot be used. The Supervisor said that according to Federal Law, the Debt Collection Company can call any number listed in their records using any method they choose.
I am amazed that a legitimate company would not verify that the number they are calling belongs to the person trying to be contacted. Maybe if the Debor is in Springfield, the Automatic Dialer can call every phone number in Springfield.
I understand collecting a debt but some research is needed by the company.

You may receive a pre-recorded call claiming to be from a person with one of these names. DO NOT return the call. Report the telephone number, date, and time of the call to this site and to consumer complaint agencies. "Leading Edge Recovery" is a scam, do not respond to their calls.

The guy calling me is VINCENT GRAY!    Have not answered, but he mentions NOTHING in the messages that ring a bell with me.  Not even my name!

I keep getting calls from Vincent Gray from 866-941-9695 yet I have no business with him whatsoever.  Every time I tried to look up the number I get no where until now.  He has been calling and leaving messages for about two months......... I will try the email to stop these call.  Thank you

Also if you want to stop these call, send them a letter to fax # 773-380=8802
requesting them to not call you, they have to stop calling you if you reqest them to stop calling for the phone which you pay the bill.

Keep getting calls from a Steven Brown at 888-306-0431. I don't know who this person is or who he is with. I let the calls go to the answering machine to record all of this guys messages. He just says to call him back at above number, but gives no reason for the call or who he is looking for. I am also on the national no call list. He better stop calling, or he will be reported to my state attorneys office.

This is a scam. Do not bother calling "Steven Brown" back, as 1) he does not exist, and 2) they will try to sell you 'cheap computers' but in the end will drain your account and never actually send you the computer at all... Many people have fallen victim to this scam, so don't be one of them!

They keep calling and calling, leaving no messages. They appear to be some kind of debt collectors from what I've been reading.

got a call today and finally decided to press 1 and got a person, i asked them "who is this, what is your company!" and they hung up. i'm thinking scam.

This company LER and has repeatedly violated the FDCPA laws and do not abide by Cease and Desist Notifications especially related to Bankruptcy stays.  We are in the process of filing numerous complaints with various State Attorney Generals for the failure to comply and blatent numerous violations.

This is such a crock. I'm in Oregon; they call every day and leave a recorded message on my answering machine. I'm sure the idea is to harass people until their recorders fill up with these messages, THEN they figure you'll eventually answer the phone.

I won't. And I won't send any kind of letter to them. They already have my telephone number, and I'll be damned if I'm going to give them my full name and address.

The laws on debt collectors must have been severely curtailed, as I get calls like this ALL THE TIME. I change my phone number due to the harassment, and another batch of the worms call. And I haven't got a single delinquent debt. It's just pure harassment.

I have been receiving calls from Vincent Grey for months. I spoke with someone months ago and told them I am not the party they are looking for. My name is the same but DOB and last digits of SS # do not I match. I get several calls per week. I emailed to day and asked them to please stop harrasing me. I've had more than enough of these calls, several each week.

calls 3 times a day...to my cell phone...and costs me minutes..jerks

They keep calling my house.  I called and asked (a woman answered).  I asked who this company is what do they do and what do they want.  They hung up on me. They may be licensed but that don't make them lawbiding nor honest.

Based on the way this company do business it's a scam. They don't even know who they are calling.

I just got this call from call back this munber 1-888-306-0431 to a guy named Steven Brown, but didn't say why.

Have gotten numerous mssgs - more than 20) from 888-306-0435; "this is Paul Black," blah, blah, blah; he is using up my minutes.  I owe no one anything.  Please stop this from happening.
