RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE MENTIONED PHONE NUMBER, SHE ASKED FOR MY HUSBAND BY NAME. I TOLD HER HE WAS NOT HOME AND ASKED IF I COULD TAKE A MESSAGE AND SHE SAID "NO MESSAGE" AND HUNG UP.
PHONE CALL WAS RECEIVED ON A SUNDAY EVENING

The person on the phone said he was calling for Peter (my name).  I asked who he was and he replied that he had an interesting offer. He was rude and demanding when I persisted in trying to find out who he was.

I live in Minnesota.

"This is Jennifer from Safety Services. (sounding a bit frustrated by now, heh)  Is Sylvia available!?"
"No."
"OK I'll call back later."
"No. Don't.  Please put us on your Do Not Call list."  <"Jennifer" hangs up.>

This call had all the earmarks of a professional "charity caller", the kind that keeps a bunch of burned-out telemarketers capitalizing on peoples' sense of charitable giving-- in order to give themselves 95 cents out of every dollar donated.

Received this call twice this week.  The chick asked for my husband by first name, when I asked her where she was calling from the first time she hung up. When she called again today I asked her who she was and she said Jennifer, I said "'Jennifer from where" and she said "just Jennifer" I said "do you know how rude it is to call a married mans house and ask for him by first name with no other information, she replied "no I don't know how rude I am" and hung up on me. If this is truly the State Patrol charity like some have said then I will never donate again based on how rude they are!

When I asked her if I could take a message, she immediately hung up the phone. I researched Safety Services and found no such entity with that phone number listed. I informed my EMS Captain, that is this individual calls back, to get as much info and a web-site for their company if possible, and then inform her that she hung up on the Chief of the Department and that my Captain was instructed not to order anything from them.
I will be passing this telephone number on toour County Attorney, and to a fried of mine that is a Prosecuting Attorney for the Department of Criminal Justice.

This number keeps calling my house and asking for my husband.  When I say this is wife, or can I ask who is calling  they hang up.  They are calling everyday and at all times of the day.  I really need them to STOP!!!!!!

Incoming call from 888-309-5743.  When I said "Hello" some rude woman said "Hello" back to me - when I repeated my "Hello" she slammed the phone down in my ear.

Called number back and it rang 14 times with no answer.

Caller said he was from Stae Patrol wanting donations. I hung up cuz there was a write-up in the paper telling about this scam, this is not the time of year they call for that it said.  Southwest Minnesota

Got a call today and when I picked it up no one was there. Called the number back and it just rang.

Call on Sunday at 6:30. I did not answer and they hung up when answering machine came on.

the person was extremely rude and called me by the wrong name, he persisted to be argumentative when I told him it was the wrong number.

Some chick called my house and now my wife doesn't trust me

I live in north Idaho and this number has appeared on my list frequently over the past week, with no message left. I picked up this morning and the female party asked for me by name. I denied availability and offered to take a message but was told it "wasn't important." Normally just don't pick up if I see "unavailable" or don't recognize the number.

Several times every day, I get calls from the number 888-309-5743.  There is never anyone there, and it always hangs up as soon as I answer.

I get calls from this number several times every day.  There is never any sound, but as soon as I say anything, then 'click'!  I live in Idaho! ALSO, I have tried calling the number, and it always just rings forever!

Asked for my husband by first name.... requested where they were calling from, stated "For safety reasons, we will call back" and hung up.

This number calls every Wed. and Sunday and Hangs up when I answer.

This phone has only ever been listed to me.  got a phone call from this number asking for my husbands dead ex-wife.

I didn't answer but immediately called it back, rang for about 3 minutes no answer. I live in Washngton State
