Upon receiving these calls regarding check fraud stint to scam hardworking american people out there .. These were a huge syndicate operating probably international using different numbers start In 888 315 xxxx they will use male of female operators telling you that if you don't reply a warrant of arrest will be issued to you .. For details google " 888-315" these need to be stop !! Watch out this Nigerian accent Miss Lisa Johnson 888 315 7793 and some other similar Scammers using the same 888 315 xxxx

you know, my sister is in the D.A.'s office in our county and i received these calls and was actually served at my job....it was a civil matter,but all the same i was soo embarrassed and had to retain an attorney so they could not place a lein or garnishment against me!

                                  I only borrowed $350 and it ended up costing me close to $3,000.00. does anyone know how i could have prevented that from happening, other than not having borrowed the money? Jeepers, I'm in so much trouble @ this point....still having to pay!

The spelling is Kaufman, Hymes & Associates.  I called the number back pretending to be the Better Business Bureau and was able to get a real person.  I sent all information I have to my state's Attorney General's office, they had literally recieved an email about this scam the day before my call.  Through some sluething of my own, i found that the two numbers that were calling me were serviced by a company called Bandwith (in Georgia).  They won't accept complaints directly, but maybe if enough people start complaining, it will put some pressure on them to give up any information to the authorities.  The website is:kaufmanhymes.com, and is completely ridiculous.  File a complaint with your state's attorney general office, they may have also been informed about these creeps.

Left message about a bad check which is false.

I use to work for collection agencies & now I work for the courts.  This company is legit & it is registered out of Atlanta, GA.  They have several complaints filed against them w/ BBB.  They use scare tactics to get people to pay their debt off.  If you have a debt, DO NOT give this company your personal information!!!  Contact the original lender immediately & see if you can set up payment arrangements w/ them to pay off your debt.  This company CANNOT have you arrested for check fraud.  They are crap, they know it & that is why they use this method on individuals.  Most people get scared & start giving out their personal information & it will bite them in the butt.  I used to use the same tactics on debtors when I worked for the collection agencies.  Be alert to past, present & current scams or you will be taken advantage of in the end.

Filed a complaint with the BBB against this company.   GUESS WHAT.  They do not exist... Dont fall for this crap these people are dishing out.  What in the heck is this world coming to..

I did a search for Kaufman Hines and Hines in Atlanta.   I found a website with their information.  I filed a complaint with the BBB and received a letter back from them that the complaint that was mailed to the address I provdide was returned to them.  Either they are a fake business or they don't exsist anymore  I cant wait for them to call me back!!!!!!

they called me saying i am going to be arrested today. Extesion 200.

I received a call from these people. They call my job leaving a voice recored message stating that I was being investigated for fraud so who ever answered the office phone heard this message. how do I get rid of these people? I did make arrangement for the to take money from my card so what do I do at this point? please help.

Just received a message from someone from 678-359-3586 a Mr Harris claiming to be from an attorney's office. Apparently, a complaint has been filed against me for depository check fraud. He stated I need to make a payment by monday or I would be arrest for check fraud from CASHNET for over 1250$. OMG I am having surgery in a week and havt worked in over a year. Can they really send me to jail?

Just received a message from someone from this number claiming to be from an attorney's office. Apparently, a complaint has been filed against me for depository check fraud. ???? This complaint has supposedly be filed in the state I used to live in. Since I did not change my telephone number, I get calls all day long, beginning at 9:00am and going all the way until 10:00pm! I'm sure if I call back they will try to obtain account information for an electronic debit of some sort. Not going to happen.

I just got a call from them on my cell phone earlier today although they were asking for someone else in my family on *my* cell.  I had a feeling it was a scam, I'm glad I confirmed it.

I received a message on my voice mail stating to call this 888-315-8365 ext 200 also.  I called but after
being transferred by the system to the 200 ext no one would pick up.  I had a suspicion about this, so i googled this number and brought me to 800 notes with all these concerns... I think i will have my sister call them back and say i'm still missing.....lol..  total scam....

These people are debt buyers they buy the debts from collection companies and aren't bound by the same laws as collection agencies. Dateline did a whole story on these a***oles.

i was informed that there is some kind of complaint against me wtih or from my social security number.  i freaked out and was upset for several different reasons - after all social security IS a big deal - why the heck did these folks NOT identify themselves/!?!?!?   i was stupid enough to call this 888-315-8365  number and yes, i used the extension (200) that i was instructed to use adn yes, that was when i was "finromed' from the recording that i was beign transferrerd to 'legal", which freaked me out all over again.  i finallly got a human voice and i asked her the name of the company - it'
s kaufman andsomething or somethign adn kaufman.  it's a company who/that acts is not very biz-nessliek ways and is somne kind of legal firm!?!?? well, that kinda explains why lawyers are suck scums AND tend to screw ya at all turns, for everything all the tiem etc

A message was left on my cell phone regarding a summons of complaint for my ex-brother in law from Kaufman, Heins and Associates.  I was given the x200 to dial and ended up with a guy named Jason.  Sounded like a scam to me so I hung up.  A couple of weeks later, another number was on my phone - 201-968-0327 x115.  They even referenced a file number.  I returned this call and told them that I had no contact with my ex-brother in law.  They said that the number was probably taken from a reference number and asked if I wanted my number removed.  They said they would delete.  They did not ask me any information on where my in law could be found, a phone number or anything (not that I would give that to them anyway).  Hopefully, this will end the calls...but who knows.  Glad to hear that my gut feeling was OK.

Receieved a Voicemessage from Crystal staing that I have an allegetion against me and that they were going to send it to the Orange county Clerks office for summons. She only left a number to reach and my social , number is 1-888-315-8365 extension 111. Oh oh dumb people.

Caller placed call to both my cell phone and workplace's main voice mail.  Messages stated that a "fraud" complaint had been lodged against me.  Failure to return call at the above number would result in legal charges, including arrest, brought against me.

Complaint against this company has been filed with the Attorney General's Office of Georgia because that is where this company is located.

received a phone call today that I was under investigation for fraud, using my social security number and to call them back immediately at 888-315-8365 ext 200 . I thought it was weird message so I looked it up on line and see all these messages..
