I expect this is ZWicker & Assoc. They try to harass people into paying old dents that have already been cancelled in bankruptcy years ago.  They are crooks. They have been calling me for years but I never answer their calls. I only answer calls I can identify in my Caller ID.

Our govt should put these crooks in prison instead of starting wars and giving billions away to other countries.

Keep getting calls from 888-316-6088.  Even like 8 on Sunday Morning.  When we anwers the phone and no one says anything and we hang up.  How do we stop this.  I added my phone # in the do not call list.

Allied Interstate calling for someone I do not know (and their name isn't the same or even close to mine).  Why they are allowed to continue to harass the wrong person is beyond me.

This number is calling my home numerous times a day.

This number has called my husband's cell phone at least 4 times a day for weeks now. I just called back and got: "This call will be recorded for Allied Interstate" in a very thick foreign accent. I said slowly and clearly, "Do not call --and gave the phone number."  They never leave a message.

I receive a call from 888-316-6088 twice a day every day.  When I answer, nobody talks or leaves a message.  Please stop calling or LEAVE a message.

I got a call from this number and I didn't get an answer at first, so I called them back. They were looking for a guy named Robert Garrett. I told them I don't know him and my number was new. So they said it would be corrected and no more calls.

this number keeps calling me all day long even before 8 am (one call was 6:30 am) and after 9 pm (one call was 11:00 pm). I finally answered one day to see what they wanted and it was for a totally different person. Told them they have the wrong number..I am not a guy nor do i sound like a guy.  the rep with a really deep accent told me he would take me off the list and I am still getting calls.

                ( if you have conducted business with them in the last year , there are exceptions to this)
#5          Google the # and find out Allied is prob calling about some old crap that no one cares about now
#6          Buy a real cell phone plan, don't let a caller get you all crazy about your minutes. It's 2013!

If they call outside the hours of 7am to 9pm,  you probably have an area code or old address from another time zone. Don't act surprised.

#7      if they have a middle east accent, MAKE SURE you include that in your blogging! Because that is super useful and relative information!   Hey if they are black, WARN OTHERS TOO, they could be muggers!   Come on people, grow up.

Can someone just say who it is that is calling and stop argue?

They had my name, but I know for a fact there
is/has been at least one other person with the
same name in this area. They just contact everyone
with the same name within a several hundred mile
radius and hope they will get lucky. Told him
if I was contacted by them again, I would report them!
It is obviously an "offshore" operation... could barely
understand the clown.

This number keeps calling and when I answer there is no one answering back.

That's funny you mentioned the name ANTHONY SHUDDLES. my husband received a strange voicemail with the EXACT MESSAGE. Too Much personal detail, personal information being released over a voicemail. Im a former debt collector officer myself and I know in my previous training an agent MUST CONFIRM 3 FORMS OF ID BEFORE RELEASING INFORMATION. This Anthony guy, addresses him self as a member From the department of legal services, but when you call back the number they give you its a foney agency with a different name. If the calls dont stop I'm thinking if calling our local news.. it's violation of privacy, unethical and illegal.

WHY can't we get these people to STOP calling  I CANNOT believe what they do isn't illegal... They call all hours of the day and NEVER leave a message. I don't even know who they are or what they want except for what I read here  and I KNOW I do NOT have any past due debt of ANY kind....

I received the same message today 6-18-2013, restricted call,  except for his name was Shawn Taylor, and it sounded like he was reading from a script. He couldn't even pronounce my last name. Per FDCPA, you are not allowed to leave last 4 digits of the ssn on a voice mail. I know this because I work for a collection agency. I am contracting the Ohio Attorneys General Office regarding, I believe that you should do the same in the state that you live in too. Its scares me that this company didn't even disclose the company name except for saying "contact the legal department" and why are they pulling my cbr? I have searched the web to find out more info, not having any luck.

Fraud of a Judgment of betrayal of ex-attorney to pay ex-wife Jean L. Ford $200.00 a month by forging her name onto my property.  Ex-attorney never gave me a copy of this judgment until now on June 4, 2013 to keep me from disagreeing on it within 30 days of this Judgment in Monterey County California.  So now everyday this 888-316-6088 keeps calling stating you owe a debt and you must pay your debt and sometimes they do not leave a message just keep calling.  So maybe this is the crooks of private companies who are spying on us with nothing but lies and Fraud of crooks to steal and lie with the law on their side against the working people that works for a living instead of stealing and lying for a living to steal your money in a easy way of Scams and Frauds of liars just like this Black-Widow of this lying ex-wife Jean L. Get occasional calls on my cell phone from this number. I do not answer & they leave no message. I love the idea that an earlier poster suggested about getting a referee whistle and just blow their eardrums out next time! I am on my way to the whistle store.

I got a call today on my home # a man with thick accent sounded like from india...I could not understand him & asked him to repeat which he did & all I could understand was my maiden name which I havent used in over 45 years!  Since I just read about scam artists in the AARP magazine, I played all crazy & hung up on him. Don't give out any info to people unless you initiated the call because by doing so you can reopen a debt that you may or may not owed even if it's over 45 years ago! Seniors & younguns beware!

Got a call from this number and they said I had a Windstream debt from 2003-2004.  The location I was at is so remote there was no internet access out there, also, I was living with my parents at the time and had no lively hood to even get such things.  I have never heard of Allied Interstate or Windstream until today to be honest.  It really did sound like a scam.  However, they had personal information about me(SS#). I'm currently in the process of recording all phone calls from here on out.  I would not confirm with them if any of my information they had was correct. I just told them I won't give out personal info on the phone.  I suggest you don't answer the phone or if you do, tell them to stop calling otherwise you're calling the state fraud division.  I received calls the past 4 days, tonight it was at 9:00pm.

I sued these morons under the FDCPA - TCPA law two years ago. Guess what? The calls have started again.

I totally agree with the guy who says we should stand up for our rights and file a complaint/a suit or whatever it takes in a court of law to stop these people!  It's harassment what they are doing and to top it off they are getting away with it!  My story is I got a new phone and was issued a new number that apparently belonged to someone who did not pay their bills.  I have told umpteen callers I am not that person and I have had this number for a year and a half and they continue to call daily, call several times a day using various numbers, they are foreigners-sound middle-eastern, they are rude, they do not follow the calling guidelines established for debt collecting, they dont listen, and I've had it with these mthrfkrz.

This is what I came up for this number.  So far, they have only called me once.  I called them back and did not talk.  They are definitely from India.  They are now blocked thanks to Voice Zone on Time Warner, but thought this may help someone:
