Have been getting calls from 888-318-5390 daily beginning July 1st. I've picked up the phone both times and it seems no one is there.

Get calls from this number repeatedly.  I,too, am up for extended warranty and do no wish to renew because they are such a pain in the a** and I would never buy another Dell because of this.

I've been getting 2-4 calls a day, pick it up -- they hang up.
Thanks for the tips pointing towards Dell Extende Warranty. Just engaged one of their customer service reps via chat somewhere in India and asked to get off their database. He/She was very apologetic, supposedly did it, and informed me that it should take 10 days to get it removed.

I get this call from 888 318 5390.  I don't know who it is, which is why I googled it and found this page.  I get it almost daily, and am tired of it. It would not surprise me at all that Dell would call to sell a warranty extension, but as with all telemarketers, I think that I am smart enough to call THEM and buy one, if I want one!

Just got a call from them. He never said he was from Dell but he told me he wanted to update information on my Dell computer systems. I never admitted I had one and asked him to repeat himself.  He did not answer me but the line did not go dead until I hung up.

I hv been getting call from 1-888-318-5390 and no one answers when I pick up. Very disruptive.

i have been getting daily calls from this number, sometimes even multiple times in one day, no message left.  i ignore it every time, but it's so annoying now.  i don't have a dell, so i don't think that's possible.

Two days in a row received calls from this number and no one is there.
Dell should be ashamed.

Got a call from 888-318-5390 at 10.55 AM EST - but when I answer the phone there is no one on the other side. It is a bit scary since I live alone at home.

I am receiving calls from this number and just barely received one a few seconds ago.  I have a hunch it's Dell, my service Plan expired as well.  I just ignore it.

I think you are right. My plan with Dell expired three weeks ago. I did not extended it. Since then I have gotten calls in three consecutive days, 9.08am-3.17pm-9.57am. Perhaps there were more calls, I just zapped a lot of these calls w/o trying to figure out who they were. I get a 800-720-7706 also, perhaps they are using a different number. I've been bombarded with Dell pop ups that require you to click it off at least three times before it goes away. The biggest spammers seem to be the people you had previously trusted the most not to.

I have this on my cellphone too - the first one July 3, the next today.  I should block the call.

Keep getting a call from this number at different times of the day.  They don't leave a message and there is no reverse phone lookup information.  No other information besides the number shows up on the caller ID.
