Yep total scam. Docs look official though. At first I thought it was. Was from:

What a bunch of BS but no doubt many fall for this scam.

I received the same here in Long Beach, CA today. Searching on Google, I saw where in Missouri, law enforcement had pointed out that what they're doing is not a crime <-- "that", in of itself, (The fact that it isn't considered a crime), is criminal to me. In other words, if someone isn't slick enough to catch this as being a scam, or "scheme", (As slick as the immoral perpetrators who are sending these letters out, that is!), then it's their own fault for being gullible enough to fall for it? Hm. If you look at the letter, as an actual recipient, you would see exactly why this is such an outrage to me. It's a very very well done "scheme", and if scamming possibly hundreds of people out of $83 a pop is not a crime (It should be a Federal one, in my opinion, because they're sending them through the U.S. Mail!) then there's definitely a big problem with the laws themselves, in this day and age. Thanks for letting me spout off. *Note: all the police would have to do is find the PO Box 6609 in Thousand Oaks CA, stake it out and catch whoever's doing it, but oh no,... it's not a crime. (!?) (Heavy sigh)

I also got this letter. I'm glad I did some googling first as it sure looked suspicious, but I wasn't sure (the house was just put in my name when my dad passed away 6 months ago).

Stupid scammers.

It's a scam.  Trying to get $83 for doing something you can do yourself for $15!!  (I also received this mailing)

I received a mailing from Registered Property Services with this phone number - it immediately looked suspicious.  The letter asked for $83 for a copy of my deed, it had a address in sioux falls SD on letter which is a UPS store but self enclosed return envelope had address in CA.
