888 322 1122 is virgin mobile;
assuming someone did not spoof call you.

I've been receiving spoofed text messages from "9450" telling me to call this number for several months. This is a scammer pretending to be Virgin Mobile. Virgin Mobile is in my phonebook for real; this number is under a more accurate name, SLIME -- and it's blocked.

Simply.... It's Virgin Mobil BroadBand Customer Service.  !!! Customer Service !!!  They aren't a problem and courteous.

Careful people, I keep getting text messages from this number telling me my credit card will be expiring. It's not even close to expiring. Just saying.

Got a call today 12-5-1230.  They do not identify themselves by name on their text message or the last 4 digits for the card. both of these are signs of a scam.

I got an unknown call from this number and did not even hear the phone ring, but it shows up in my received file. I've received calls from this number before, but never did anything to try and stop them from calling my number until now.

Not sure why the called me I do not have a virgin mobile phone.

Received a text message from this number at an ungodly hour. First scammer mistake. Message did not begin the way a legit Virgin Mobile message begins. Second scammer mistake, and of COURSE I'm not going to tell you how legit messages actually start, scammer! Message wants me to call and update credit/debit card info, something I would never do over the phone, only online. Three strikes and you're out, scammer!

Really? Did you get proof in writing?  You paid a scam?  Perhaps that is why its taking so long! Although you need to loose the caps lock key and get one that works.  Cancel your credit card and tell them you have been scammed! Never pay a bill without checking with the REAL company first..

The best in customer satisfaction?  You have got to be kidding,  I lost my phone and called to get a new phone.  I was then told my old plan was no longer in service.  I called again to make sure that was correct.  She said I would be grandfathered to the old plan.  To make sure I called a third time and was told I could not have the old plan.  But I had to do something within 60 days.  Or what?????  Are they nust or plain stupid!

This number actually keeps leaving me a text at around 5-6 a.m. and it's the most annoying thing ever.

If by chance if u set up the virgin acct thru a retailer using a credit card (their slick!) ...they use the same form of pymt to chrg ur acct ea. Month., without asking! Now days, when opening an acct w/cc, make sure u tell the co. NOT 2 set up automatic monthly pymt drafts on ur acct. ...These company's r getting away w modern day THEFT n the name of TECHNOLOGY.

I Have been getting calls from 888 322 1122 which appears to be Virgin Mobile where I have my cell phone registered. I hardly use my phone and the last top up was on 4/10. Except for 4 phone calls that my husband made from the home phone I have not used it. However, on the following days I have received calls from the number above:
5/4 at 2.32 pm, 2.33 / 5/8 at  10.24 twice, on 5/17 at 5.31, 532, 5.34

All these calls are charged to my cell phone when they actually come from Your company or Virgin Mobile. Is this how I use up minutes because I may not charge enough. Also, suddenly, I am trying to call voice mail and I need a password. That was not put in by me, so I have a dozen calls to my voice mail and can never get into it. PLEASE, IF ANYBODY READS THIS, STOP IT !   SO FAR I HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH VIRGIN MOBILE!

this number popped up as i was trying to set up an account on what i thought was the virgin mobile site, telling me to call and set up the process on-line.  i suspected it was a scam.

it's 100% Virgin Mobile. They called me for a survey and never left a message. I called them from my phone (611) and they verified. I also called the number which says, 'Welcome to Virgin Mobile."  The only thing pisses me off is you can not remove your name from the call list.

Not a clue as to who it is nor do I really care because they called my google voice number.

If this number really belongs to Virgin Mobile, they would've called my actual VM # or sent a text (which I rarely get from them unless it's to say that the top up card that i purchased has been loaded to my account).

If it's for something else, I really don't care.

These calls are NOT being made from Virgin Mobile.  It is a scam to get personal info from you.  This number called me and said that I reported my phone lost or stolen and I needed to get my phone replaced immediately or I would lose my cell number and have to get a new number.   I hung up and called VM and they say the call didn't come from them and that my account weas fine...no stolen or lost phone was attached rto my account.  DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFO TO ANYONE CALLING YOU.

I WORKED FOR COMCAST AND THIS NUMBER IS FROM A BIG SCAM CLAIM TO BE COMCAST. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO THIS NUMBER 888-322-5932. WE ARE INVESTIGATING ON THIS NUMBER NOW. IN THE MEAN TIME JUST HANG UP WHEN THEY CALL YOU.

Got a call from them recently, they left a message about some account being activated and telling me to pay some bill in a month. I DO NOT HAVE an account with Virgin Mobile, and I never had one, never owned a Virgin Mobile phone, never given them my cell phone number, etc. My cell phone number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST. It MUST BE A SCAM.

I get calls from Virgin's 888-322-1122 stating my acct is now active... or have gotten calls in the past about the same or reminders to add $$ to my acct.  I have never had or have ever applied to Virgin Mobile.. I called them to stop calling me.  Obviously an overseas Call Center because they could barely speak english and when they asked what state I was calling from, and I told them Nevada, they asked what state Nevada was in?!!?!?!?!?  When I said Nevada WAS a state they asked if it was in New York or some other state.  I talked to two people who kept transfering me when I got upset, but never said they were transferring me... just  all of a sudden someone else was on the phone asking the same stupid questions.  When I asked them to look up my phone # (which is a work #) and to delete it from their system, they kept saying they couldn't do that and because I don't have an account with them they must not be calling me.  WHAT?  I told them over and over that the # they are calling is my work and not a cell # with Virgin and obviously listed as a contact for an existing or new acct and I wanted it removed.
Finally after talking to the gazillionth rep they said they would put my # on theIR do not call list.  We'll see if it happens.
I have used prepaid cells in the past for temporary use on jobs where I needed to contact workers and can tell you I will NEVER EVER GET ONE FROM VIRGIN MOBILE.  Their customer service sucks.  As a former Customer Service Trainer for a Fortune 500 Company I would give this interaction with Virgin Mobile a 0 out of 10.  Everything they did was contrary to any way to handle a customer service call.
