this number calls my house at least 5 times a day. When I answer they ask for my dead grandmother. I tell them shes dead and to stop calling but they still continue to.

This number calls at least 3 times a day. I was ignoring it but finally starting answering after it wouldnt stop. They ask for my husband and when I say he isnt there, they tell me it is a courtesy call from Discover Card. we hav ea discoer but havent used it in a few months. They wont stop and call from 7am til 9pm

Calls about 7PM PST every evening for the last 2 weeks.  No message.  Once, my wife picked up and they asked for our oldest daughter and when she told them she wasn't here and asked them who they were, they said "That's okay, I'll just call again."

I have been told that they do take violations of the Do Not Call registry seriously and do pursue the issue - probably take a bunch of complaints but try it.

I got 2 calls this past week from 888-322-2785, morning and night. It would ring twice then hang up. I called them Thursday and asked them to stop and that I was on DoNotCall list. She said they were Discover Card and was puzzled that I did not have a account. They called just now at 9:00 am on a Saturday so I called them again and told them I'd report them to FCC. She apologized and said they'd take me off their list, someone with their card must have given them the wrong phone number. She even had my #$% cell phone number, so what's up with that? Just to be safe, I filed 2 complaints with FCC DoNotCall anyway. So I lied! Screw 'em!

We have been getting two to three calls almost every day for at least two months.  The call rings come at random times and only ring once or twice.  If answered there is dead silence.

I usually have from 5-9 calls about every other day from this number when I get home from work.  So tonite I decided to answer the phone from this number, and I could hardly understand this man, he said he was calling from Mastercard, but he sounded like he couldn't talk, maybe sick or retarded, then he said something about being in rehab-he then said something about not having a tumor-I hung phone up.

This number calls me every two hours or so every day for over a month now.  No one leaves a message and I do not pick up.  I'm on a do not call list, but this number has been a menace.  Please disconnect it!!!

I have been getting the same calls from this same number. I get 2 calls a day every day of the week,but Sunday. I won't answer is as I have caller id, so it shows the number. This has been going on for about a month  now. You would think they would stop calling if they get no answer.

About 6 months ago we were constantly getting calls from this number and we would never answer them. Now they have started again. We are on the no call list, but that does'nt seem to make a difference. We recieve a call early in the day and one at night. When they first started I tried to track it down, with no luck.
After they started again we went to google and found this site. Now I'm going to call Discover card and let them know that I'll drop them if the calls keep coming in.

Thursday, March 22, 2007 - received call at 8:55 pm (!) from (888) 322-2785; dead air, no message; have been receiving calls from this number, in the evenings, for the past couple of days.  Tracing it on "Google" led me to this page.   We do have a "DISCOVER" card, so maybe that is where the call is coming from.   It must be Discover's last gasp, most reputable companies have given up cold calls at 9:00 pm at night...

I have been getting calls from this number for over 2 months now and the same as everyone else...no one is on the phone, just silence. I am extremely tired of it.  

I have been getting these calls for several weeks now. Thank goodness I have Caller ID because I don't answer. I am also on the do not call list. After reading these I don't plan to answer either.
