A fella named Rick called (caller id shows 615-238-0204) and says he wants to talk to us about a single level home addition.  He then asks us to call him at work; 888-326-0653 ext. 4015.  Then says "Have a Blessed day".    I thought I heard other people in the background so I Googled the phone numbers and, thankfully, saved myself some aggrevation.

They got me for almost 400.00 and now they keep calling with a hard sell to give them 10,000.00 for "guaranteed work".

I did get a lead but when I call the number back I get no responce, I hope I can get at least 1 good lead so I can at least get my 400.00 back.

Signed,
Concerned contractor.

I have a home based Kitchen and Bath business and this company called me this morning at 7:30am. I didn't answer it because it was a 1-888 #.
The message was from a female who said she had a client that wants their whole entire kitchen remodeled and to call her.
I've got stuck on the phone in the past with these types of people so now I always Google the phone numbers.

What a lifesaver Google is!

Thanks you to whomever created this Blog!

This guy called me at work and when I answered there was a long pause so I hung up. He called right back and screamed, "Did you just hang up on me??!!" I said, "Excuse me?" And he repeated himself so I hung up again. He immediately called back but I didn't answer and one of my male co-workers did. He yelled at him as well and asked us if we treated all of our employees this way. wtf??!! You're not our employee a**hole! He proceded to say if we were going to be rude to him he would not want to work for us. That's right, FOR us, meaning he should be kissing our a** for us to hire him yet he is yelling and being an a**. The nerve of some people. PSYCHO!!!!!

Called and said he had a client that wanted a concrete slab poured for his garage.  We are a large commercial contractor so we would not do a residential project.  I gave him that information and he said "oh" and hung up.

Received a message on my answering machine saying this guy "Fozzy" needs his foundation repaired. I heard what sounded like tele-marketers in the background so I searched the number and found this site. This guy lied just so I'd call him back so he could sell me something. This is Garbage! He's is wasting my time. And by the way Sean Metz you need to get back on the phone lying to people so you can sell them something.

I receive calls from these idiots regularly.  If you are an honest company, then you don't have to lie or be deceptive to gain a client.  If you (EC.com rep) are going to lie about who you are in a voice message before I even talk to you, then any chance of a honest business relationship between us has already been spoiled!  I don't lie to my customers, Why would I do business with ANY company who does not share my values in business?  Besides, if you lie up front, whats to keep you from doing it again, and again.  If in business (especially service oriented business) you are honest and up-front, and show up on time, you will have all the business you can handle, without lead generators, because you are already ahead of the majority!

I just got a call from a "Tim Boone", he said he was a representative for a wealthy client who wants us to install 7 Double Hung Windows. This Tim was too evasive and couldn't answer any of my questions. He gave me this phone number and an extension of 4316. I just knew something wasn't right!

Wish I had known to check this a year ago.  I did sign up for their "leads" program end of last year (for a reasonable $999) for a guaranteed minimum of 12 leads in 12 months.  This was about half of the "listed price" for this plan.  It sounded good enough to me.  In trying to set up my profile for the leads (the same afternoon) their system wouldn't take my information.  Immediately I sent an email (it was now after their working hours) to tell them this problem had occurred.  I never did get a response, but I did reach a couple of different (and very pleasant folks) on Monday morning (the next working day) that helped me to update my profile, and get it saved to their system.  Of course, by this time I already had a "lead" from everycontractor.com.  I didn't bother to reject it as I hadn't even gotten my profile set up yet - I figured they would take responsibility for their system not working.  Now I wonder if their system is intentionally set up this way.  So, I also explained that over the weekend I had gotten a "lead" in a community a few hours away (way outside what I could possibly handle (especially given that I only work in the community in which I live - this was all explained to the first sales guy I talked with the week before, who told me that my profile could reflect any community, or communities, that I wished to work in).  The lead is still on my profile, 12 months later - never was acknowledged that their system had failed.  A while later (several weeks) I got another "lead."  So, I accepted it.  This one was within a mile of my office.  I tried to contact the owner - ultimately I had to search him out and contact him on his personal cell phone (a couple of days later).  Apparently, he had gotten so many calls from his "inquiry" that he wouldn't answer his home phone.  He was pleasant enough - good thing as it's a small community and I'd hate to think that everycontractor had ruined my own reputation through their lack of ethics, etcetera.  Next day (after the first lead that would have been legitimate) I got another "lead" - it was the same owner.  I rejected it and let everycontractor know that it was the same lead - apparently they now have record of this fact.  I rejected this latest lead beyond the initial 24 hours (so they say now) - and that could be . . . remember it was a duplicate that I had already responded to, and tried to make the contact.  Anyway, a couple of days ago I reached everycontractor to tell them I wanted to cancel and get my money back (their guaranty per contract).  After waiting to hear back from Miss Houston, then yesterday from Ryan Day, I called again this morning to see what was happening and to request my money back.  Now I hear that I fulfilled my obligations, except on two points: I didn't pick up and respond to two of the "leads" they provided.  In other words, I can't get my money back, but they will apply it to another period of time, or another program.  I went off on a rant!  Now I'm waiting for Miss Houston to research my claims to these circumstances and get back to me by the end of the week.  I think I'll start making contact with some of the other clients they've had (I've already been in touch with several) to see if they've gotten their money back.  Will update this sometime later . . . .
BEWARE! of this company.  It's just too much like so many scams out there.  BEWARE in general of anything internet related (or phone solicitations) - way too many criminals out there that are taking advantage of this technology.  Never give out your month and day of birth, SSN, address, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.  I've gotten caught in three of these scams in the past 13 months now.  Almost nothing is what it seems out there.  Also, don't try any of the teeth whitening ads.

Glad I checked this out.  The call sounded real fishy as the guy wanted me to quote a job, but did not have near enough information for me to put together a real quote didn't even know about some of the questions I asked which were basic if you are a general contractor.  What a scam.  I sure get tired of the schemes these guys come up with trying to sell their garbage.  Thanks everyone for posting and saving me another telemarketer call.
