They call here constantly. 8 am on a Saturday and late at night. I have called them back and 2 times they have assured me that my number would be removed......still calling,,,wont stop!

I wonder if these telemarketers create these pages that we complain in to market to us in a convaluted way.

At http://www.customtollfree.com/client_signup.html  I found a telemarketer so I tried looking another number up. Then it asked for my personal info. I gave only my junk email as I want to track down these callers. Yet I had to navigate around this site and I wonder if this is where they want us to go, so we will read their advertising....

Have been getting calls for months, no msg left and like everyone else a fax line when you try to call back. Never got a person. There should be a way to find out who the hell this is............

this number called my cell twice last night.  They dont leave messages and when i try to call it back it is a fax number. Who the heck is this??

this number just called my phone ...6 pm..weird thing is i dont give out y house number..it was a females voice and asked for me (one of my relatives answered) and when my grandma asked who was calling she said "Jeremy" and hung up...she just called back AGAIN..while i was writing this..and said she's from the city of henderson doing a poll

Will call and will not leave a message. Then will repeatedly call thru-out the day. Very frustrating when you are busy and are expecting important calls and keep running to the phone to have it be a waste of time.

whoever calls from 1-888-327-2771 does not talk or leave a message when I let my answering machine take the call. Just wondering who it might be.

I have gotten a couple of calls from this number, in addition to several other numbers in the past week, which I assume are all related.  Very annoying.  They never leave a message.

Found a voicemail from this phone # on my machine this morning saying "boogedy boo blah blah"

Pretty weird for an "800 service" number.

called and asked if I had time to do a survey for pima county (the county I live in).  I said I didn't have time and he hung up ... very rude.

I found it best to not hang up, but talk to the caller.  The calls I recieve are not telemarketers but simple working folks just trying to earn a living.  If I feel like doing the survey I will, but if not then I simply and politely(they're not trying to scam me) tell them to put me on they're do not call list.  It only works for that particular survey, but at least for me anyway, it seems to save time and frustration.  Trying to keep in mind these are working people just like me helps as well.

Got a call at 7:30 PST They wuold not tell me who they were,  they wanted my son knew his name.  They wanted to know if he lived here or did he move on.  called back the number and got a fax machine.

This number is still active.  Got a call about 8:30 pm Pacific Time tonight (I'm in California).  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a voice mail.  Wonderful!!

Call came in to cell phone. Listed only as "incoming call." I didn't answer. No message left on answering service.

Called back, got modem sounds.

Called me at 9:20 est, didn't answer the phone...left no message. Did not try to call back since I make it a point to ignore "888" #'s. If someone is in need of contacting me, they will leave a message...very fishy...plus it grated on me that they called so late...

Called by 888-327-27771, A telephone surveyor, now my comments about these types of surveyor calls.

When passed by Congress some years ago, I supported the legislation that established a Federal ?Do Not Call List? to regulate the telephoning practices of telemarketing companies. Since then however, theirs has been a noticeable increase in the number of telephone surveyor and polltaker calls to Americans phone numbers. Congress needs to address this issue and should amend the (DNCL) rule to regulate the telephoning practices of telephoning public opinion sampling services; preferably another (DNCL) that people can register their phone numbers on to stop these types of calls.

Increased political activism in the country in recent years has created a need for political advocacy groups and the media to survey public opinion on a particular issue of the day. Sometimes I feel these survey services call a number too much and make themselves an unwelcome annoyance, when the number they call isn?t interested in participating in their poll or survey. Why, then, aren?t Americans afforded the right under (DNCL) rules to block phone calls from other groups who make themselves a nuisance like they?re for telemarketers? Sometimes at my own residence?s phone number, it can receive at least one call a day from telephone survey services?.

I feel Congress can be an instrument of behavior control to regulate how the telephone transmission system in the United States is used by groups to make connections to other people. Providing additional do not call lists for this purpose should be a continued goal of Congress to consider like providing a list to block calls from telephoning public opinion sampling services.
