t-mobile acct . . . said my credit union account has been blocked for security reasons . . . called the credit union and they said they have had a number of calls today about this scam.

Just got a text message saying there was an issue with my prepaid mastercard.  I have one so I called the number and it said my card needed to be reactivated and they would need my card number etc.  It showed up as 3740 on caller ID.  I called the actual card company and there is nothing wrong with my card.  Beware, if in doubt call the number on the back of the card or the bank itself.  Never give your information to these people.

Received messages(9 of them) about my credit card(But I don't have any)!The card # was 446053!The e-mail addresses are 200@tmomail.net//(from agent #33697,three times),same e-mail adress(from agent #3720),800@tmomail.net//(from agent #3855),022@tmomail.net//(from agent #3762) & last was 008@tmomail.net//(from agent #3568)! All the phone #'s are as follows 1-866-374-4703(twice),1-866-491-5883(twice),1-866-490-5417 & also 1-888-842-0241.

I received a text message from 513@tmomail.net stating that my credit union account has been blocked for security reasons and to call this number.

I received a text from this number too.  I called my credit union and they told me that the message was not from them.

Just wondering again you guys... did any of you sign up for any web application services through T-Mobile? Like news updates, sports scores, stock quotes, etc?

Got text message that "There is a problem with your credit union account. Call 1-888-329-8156 immediately."  My wife and I are both T-Mobile customers and she received identical text message seconds later (our numbers are sequential).  Looks like an automatic dialer program and obviously a scam as we do not have any credit union accounts.  BEWARE.

My boyfriend just called me about this... he's like I think someone is trying to scam me, but when I called the number it said that "the number you have dialed cannot be reached from your calling area." He said he got the same message when he called back.

I'm thinking that I possibly didn't get through because I'm not a T-Mobile customer and my boyfriend probably didn't get through the second time because he's already called once...

Just wondering... Are you all T-Mobile customers???

I just go the same thing called tmobile and they said it is a scam and that you should not respond to it. Be careful everyone.

I just got a similar text msg on my phone ("Bank has limited your credit union debit card please call 888-329-8156 to solve this problem").  Didn't make any sense to me but I tried to call the number, it only rings once then silence.  Thinking trying to call was probably a stupid thing to do ... thanks for the above posts.

The sent me a text message reading "We found a problem in your Credit Union account. Call urgently at 888-329-8156"
Of course this is a scam, it was sent to 937@tmomail.net/ / so I think it's just texting random or sequential numbers.

I got it too and I called my bank.

Same thing just happened to me some sort of scam I'm sure, because I don't have a credit union either

This number called me and left a text on my cell.The call said they had a problem with my credit union! I do not even have a credit union.Anyone else have this problem???They left the number 3575 as the caller ID,Thanks,
