Got the call.. they wanted to speak to the person in charge, I said that's me. Somehow they knew what kind of copier we had. They said they were calling to inform of a toner price change. We have a company that we deal with so I knew right away this wasn't legit. I asked if he was implying that I wasn't in charge of the toner.. and out of nowhere, the male caller said, I am not even kidding, "you know you are such a b**** every time I talk to you, and I'm not going to stand for it", I laughed and was like, "and where are you calling from again?" and of course the coward wouldn't answer, I said go screw yourself and have a nice day, and ended the call. I immediately called our supplier and let them know. Then they told me about this scam, and how they have had several calls from customers who are getting the same thing. The funny thing is, I must have spoken to this guy in the past, otherwise, how would he know I was such a b****? Bahahaha.. I have little patience for scammers, and I'm not afraid to let them know that.

There are a few things newbies need to be aware of. If anyone calls asking for "the person in charge", it's a sales call. If the caller is in any way rude or disrespectful then it's a scam. Real companies and salespeople are looking for a legit sale, and would never be rude or disrespectful and would accept a customer saying no the first time. Never give the address over the phone, or say yes or yeah or yup. They will cut up the recording and mix it with another recording to make it seem like you agreed to a sale when you didn't. And then if you ask to hear the phone recording they say they are going to charge you $50 to hear it.  It happens a lot with online advertising or listings as well. They will threaten legal action if you don't pay. Trust me, they don't have a leg to stand on, and you are being scammed.

just got a call from someone saying they represent Vivid, and could she speak with the person who handles the ink & toner orders. I said that they weren't available, I said no thanks and then hung up.

Got a call from a female who said "I need to talk to the person who has the final say on your printers and ink cartridges"  That's all I need to hear...  Then I slam the phone down.

I received a call from the asking if I was responsible for orders as soon as I said yes they kept pressuring me to buy toners from them, I told them we only buy from our trusted supplier and don't take solicitors. I'm glad I did now after seeing all these reports. I have experience with similar companies where I kept getting faxes and invoices regarding orders I never made. Beware of deceiving practices.

Any business with some sense buys toners from websites like Staples, Cannon, HP, etc. or reputable stores like BestBuy, Office Depot, etc. SO ONLY BUY FROM REPUTABLE BUSINESSES!!! DON'T LET PEOPLE SCAM YOU!

Vivid ink and toner calls too much asking who's responsible for our orders.  I keep telling them we're contracted and don't need their services.  I know I'll receive a call within the next week or so.  Our company does NOT fall for scams.

well I gave them a shot, and glad I did polite people and good deals on most of there Products! I just find I am glad I didn't come to these sites first or I would have never tried them. Now that I have tried them and like them then came to read these post I realize that there are a lot of bitter people caused by past issues with other people, that they are assuming that all company's are bad, well in my dealings with this company (vivid) have been great so far:-) and have my doubts on reading from these sites, granted claims of being ripped off, yet I only see angry people about past dealings not from this company. And I always pay attention to what they are saying and I ask questions to be clear and I also buy ink for my hp and they give me a buy two get one free if I decide to keep it not I keep one if I don't decide to buy. Listening ask Questions! Any trails are gonna have stipulations. learned that along time Ago!

I received a call from Vivid Ink and Toner at the end of March. I decided to "try" the 3 cartridges because we actually needed to order some more. They were going to send me 3, I could try them for 10 days and send 2 back if I didn't like them. They followed up with me right away and I decided to keep them because I needed them anyway. What-do-you-know... shortly after I am told that they will be sending the other 9 cartridges that were part of the bundle of 12 that I ordered- WHAT??!?! I was never told I needed to get 12, which I made very clear to them. They agreed to send me 6 total and drop 6 from the order (that I never agreed on) and I didn't have to pay shipping and handling on 2 of the cartridges. I agreed on this and I made sure that they would not be sending me anything else unless I actually ordered it and they said that was correct. Guess what... I got a call today saying they were going to be sending out my second set of 12- WHAT???!!!? The mans name was David and I told him there was no way and that I didn't want anything else from the company unless I called them myself and placed the order. After he tried several times to get me to buy something, he eventually said they wouldn't be sending me anything else except for a catalog. Although everyone has been very polite, this company seems to be scamming their customers!

I did the trial and was very impressed I love the cartridges and the rep on the phone was very nice now I go to them for all my needs I am very happy with the company.

Got a call from "Vivid" trying to sell me a miracle ink toner cartridge.

Calls constantly same inquiries as listed above. Just hang up

when they asked for the person in charge of purchasing ink and toner supplies I replied that the person had been fired for buying from a telemarketer

This just call me when i was out left nothing on my voice mail and when you call back blocks incomming calls

Sorry people, if you are a Telemarketer call someone who is in charge of making decisions for my place of employment, not Accounts Payable.

Ink and Toner SCAM SELLERS. 2-3 calls a day, EVERY DAY. These employees of said SCAM COMPANY need to get a CONCIOUS and just file for unemployment instead of working for this SCAM COMPANY.

This company keeps on calling me whole day for something I am not interested or asked for it. They will not take my phone number off their calling list. They are such non professional and ties my phone line for nothing. How do I stop them I dont know

Yep, folks . . . it's the toner scam again!  I've dealt with this kind of thing for years . . . they call looking for "the person in charge of ordering ink and toner", and similar approaches.  The worst, which has duped some of our branches before, is they say something to the effect of "Hi, this is so and so from Toshiba (or they may not say the company) and we're confirming your order for a black toner cartridge?  You address is blah blah and so on?"  This approach tends to catch the more inexperienced off guard, and they get taken.  And then yes . . . the huge bill for hundreds of dollars.  Just don't answer, or if you do . . . be forewarned!

Got a cold call from someone wanting to talk with whomever orders our ink & toner. I hung up and when I called the number back, the first thing that is on their recorded menu is "If you are currently in collections, push 1". I let it default to the operator who claims they are an ink & toner company.

Got a call, looking for toner buyer, said they were new company called VIVID.   Wanted to sell me a $438 cartridge a normally pay $80 - $120 for.   Confirmed they were selling toner and not printers.  Wished I would have hung up from beginning.  Now I wait to see if they are going to try to scam me.....

I got the call and then heard a giggle and then they hung up. As I was looking online for info on this number, they called again and I just picked up and hung up.
