Did not receive a phone call from them, but my elderly mother received a:  Notice to [city], [state] Debt Holders, this phone no. was at the bottom.  I'll put the info here so you can see how shady these people are.  She was afraid someone was coming after her for an unpaid debt when she didn't have any debt - the house is in my name not her name so they preyed on an elderly person - despicable.

RE: Department of the Tresury, Publication 4681.  Also included a Case Number.  Stated in letter:  The Credit Card Assistance Center is NOT a collection agency; this is NOT an attempt to collect a debt.  The Credit Card Assistance Center does NOT charge a fee for its service.
