I have been having a Hindu man calling me at my job, non-stop!  He says his name is Derek Jones (ha ha ha) and that he is from the "Legal Department".  He claims I owe $3000 for a loan I took out, but cannot provide me with any of the documents or proof that I took out this so called loan.  He uses profanity, calls relentlessly, and has even threatened me and some of my wo workers with bodily harm.  Does anyone know how to stop this?  Everyone I have asked said to file a complaint, which I have done, but there is still no change.  He calls every single day.  
Anyone have ANY suggestions?

The same thing that all of these poor people above me are saying, but this time his name is Jacob Jones......how many INDIAN ACCENTED people have common names like JACOB JONES???????????  I am tired of this and want it to STOP!!!!!

I think the person that's calling from 1-888-332-4306 Is the same person he's just using different names. go to channel 2 news and report It to Elliot Davis or whatever state you live In. They just had this on the news here In Saint Louis some guy said he was getting death threats from these FAKE COLLECTION COMPANIES saying he owe on a loan. It's catching up with these companies as they are violating all th rules.

This number calls my mother 10 times a day. it is a foriegne speaking person.  they tell her she is going to jail.  my mother is 73 years old.  she got one pay day loan last year and paid it off and I made her promise me she would never do it again...well this is what has happened regarding that one loan.   they call her and say they are officer williams and she is guilty and going to jail and that she committed financial interent fraud.  they harrassed her to 2 weeks!  I finally called them back.  They told me the same thing only this time the guys name was Attorney David Hunt.  said they same thing, had all her personal information.  I told him I wanted to see a Certified letter in the mail.  He said it was internet fraud and they don't send letters and she was going to jail.  I said is it an interent jail?  he started to get flusturd and nervous because I said I was turning this over to our local police depart. to have their fraud department investigate and then they hung up on me.

I recieved a call from a Scott Wilson with a heavy middle eastern accent last night but my mother picked up the phone and said I wasn't there.  At that point he started asking her her name and other information and when she said he should know who he's calling he became angry and started screaming he wanted to speak to me RIGHT NOW!!! He called again this morning and left a message on the answering machine claiming to be part a law firm.  Both times the number came up as "unknown" so I called back this morning and a different man with  a heavy accent named Adam Brian picked up and claimed to be part of some criminial investigation bureau and that there was a lawsuit against me, so clearly this is a scam as they can't even keep their stories straight as to who they are and where theyre calling from.  I checked this site before calling and after he recited my SSN# and address, I told him if he called again I would report him to the FBI and he said I wouldnt recieve anymore phone calls, but that there would be a warrant out for my arrest.  Check out the numbers 909-503-0684 and ask for a middle eastern man named Charles Brian or 310-362-3916 and ask for a middle eastern woman named Michelle Parker: you'll see everyone has the same story. I'm assuming they got my information when i applied for loans online a few weeks back and then closed my account because random companies that never gave me a loan started taking money out of my account.  They can no longer access my bank account so they start pulling this.  Just tell them you'll report them to the FCC, the FBI or the police if they try calling again.  I'm personally looking into reporting them all today.  This time i "wish them good luck!"

Same thing they are contacting me at work and harrassing me , asking for my supervisor so they can fill her in on my deliquent payday loan( like she would care), said I owe 7000.00 and need an attorney, googled the number and found many complaints, there number comes up as all 0's or 313 and they don't answer the phone like a real law firm. I also asked for proof of the debt owed and they could produce any paperwork, they are scammers , and will call all day long, just hang up till they get tired.

i was the victim of this scam yesterday.  an indian man named dan richardson called my job.  i totally flipped the script on him.  i went to the fbi website and this is what i found.
Telephone Collection Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
12/01/2010?The IC3 receives a high volume of complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. In these scams, a caller claims that the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check cashing services.
One of the most insidious aspects of this scam is that the callers have accurate information about the victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. The method by which the fraudsters obtained the personal information is unclear, but victims often relay that they had completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls began.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide to the victims any details of the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers threaten victims with legal actions, arrests, and in some cases physical violence if they refuse to pay. In many cases, the callers even resort to harassment of the victim?s relatives, friends, and employers.
Some fraudsters instruct victims to fax a statement agreeing to pay a certain dollar amount, on a specific date, via prepaid visa card. The statement further declares that the victim would never dispute the debt.
These telephone calls are an attempt to obtain payment by instilling fear in the victims. Do not follow the instructions of the caller.
If you receive telephone calls such as these, you should:
?    Contact your banking institutions;
?    Contact the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file;
?    Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger;
?    File a complaint at www.IC3.gov.

so, now i've been calling them back to back after i left the voicemail message to have someone call my attorney......VA's attorney general.  They have not called me since. I'm about to post their number on my facebook page so all of my 1200 friends can call that number everyday or whenever they need to release stress.

I took your advice and I called that number back . I told them that I reported them to the FBI and would you believe it, they said that they would not be calling my number anymore. These people are sick.

I received a call from #888-332-4306. The guy claimed his name was Matthew. He told me that I owed money for a payday loan and that my mother said that she was not going to pay it back. That I was due to come to court on Friday. He had my name and my email address. He asked for my social  security number, but I refused to give it to him. I never took out a loan. When I asked what loan, he hung up on me. I called back several times and each time same person different name answered and hung up on me. I kept calling and went off on them. I told them that I was going to the police to file a charges for fraud and harrassment.

Received 3 calls from 888-332-4306 today...I was sleeping and had the ringer off so I wasn't aware of the calls til later. However, the individual called my girlfriend and informed her 1: that he represented something he called 'Investigation bureau' and 2: that she would be implicated in my issue if she did not contact me and inform me they were trying to reach me. I called them and they did not answer so I left a message for them to call me back. While I was leaving the message, they were on the phone with a mutual friend of my girlfriends' and I informing her of the same thing that they told my girlfriend. I immediately called them back without waiting for their return call. Someone with a heavy middle-eastern accent identified himself as Matthew and I inquired as to the reason for their need to contact me. 'Matthew' said that "the time had already passed" for me to contact them. Incredulously I asked what that meant and he asked me for the number I was calling him from, but did not divulge it citing that they called me so they should already have that information, so he hung up. I googled the phone number I called and discovered that there were a great many complaints concerning this particular number. I called them back again (several times as a matter of fact) and asked for some of the several aliases others had cited in their complaint posts (Tony Johnson, Scott Wilson, Scott Wells, John Landon (who also told the poster: last 4 digits of his badge #7119 with the US State Dept), Ben Johnson) and the same person would pause for a moment and come back telling me he was the person I'd asked to speak with. They would never tell me what the call was for and even told me it was a harassment call and that my girlfriend should expect to receive 50 calls a day. I called them once more and informed them I would be (and did by the way) filing a report with the FBI and the person on the other end told me my name would be removed from their database and I would receive no more calls.

Just got similar call from this number. I called back and asked what it was about and who the company is, guy already knew my SSN and who I work for! Then he asked if I knew what it was in regards to, I said no then he hung up... I'm about to sign up for life-lock!

I received a call from Raymond Scott, phone # 888-332-4306 informing me that if I don't repay the loan I received in August 2011, they will arrest me.immediately, I did not receive a loan from anyone, when I asked for more information, a woman came on the phone and informed me my life is at stake, so, I better pay the loan.  What do we have in common, why are they targeting us?

I got a call from this number today. I have gotten calls from him before awhile back and I thought that I had seen the end of it. He called saying that he was from a legal dept. Poor connection. Saying that something was filed against my social security number. I had previously reported him to someone before I can't remember who. I have never actually spoken to him though. It seemed that last time he stopped since I never picked up. Do these people actually have our social security numbers? And if they do , can they do anything with them? I am very upset at the fact that they call my place of work.
If anyone has more info on this I would be very thankful. I have a lot of issues now with finances and trying to support our large family and I certainly don't need this.

They call me 4 times at day, I did not answer but left a voice mail, I call back, n they told me I reached the legald department and that I was in a lot of trouble, I ask them to proide me with the information in file, they asked me several time for my ss# but refuse to give it to them, I ask them to tell me the ss# after they gave me name address etc, I told them that any of that information did not match, and they hang up right after, the only right information they have was my first and last name and phone number hope the stop calling

hi i had the exact same thing and what i did i called the police and they told me to call my phone provider
to report the case them and after one month they will arrest them

I also got a phone call from ths number. Today! They said that I had taken out a payday loan and that 3 companies were suing me for back pay. I have never taken out a payday loan in my life! Well, I asked for the name of his company and he told me that it was Headquarters of United Cash Works. I then asked him for the name of these three companies that are suppose to be suing me, thier address work numbers and he refused to do it. I then informed him that I will be filling a police report TODAY! This scam has got to stop somewhere

And that I have to have my attorney call and set up a payment plan. I started yelling at him that he will send me papers in the mail because I'm not doing anything over the phon and to stop calling me. He got pissed and hung up. I called back twice and left some really nasty messages about their "so called supervisor" and how rude it was to hang up on someone that you called in the first place. If you cant handle someone yelling at you then I think you may have chosen the wrong career =) The only thing he would confirm is my name. He couldn't tell me my address, email address, or phone number (he just called) I cant wait for the F***er to call me back again =) Small civil claims court here we go. =)

they are calling my work nonstop saying i owe them money and to pay if not i will go to jail. he told me that he did not care but he was going to call untill i got fired, i need to know how to stop this. the man also has a accent and just does not stop!

Called and left voicemail with a couple different names one minute apart, stating that they ("they" being the one heavily-accented middle easterner with two names) are with the government legal department.  They claimed there are three criminal prosecutions against my name and SSN, which is completely false, and that I need to contact them to be arrested.  Then he went a little too far stating "if you do not contact or you do not see me, all I can do is wish you good luck and goodbye."
They probably get away with it because most of the payday loan companies are actually foreign (South America and India)..  Either way, they can't get money from me and need to stop the harassment since my payday loans were included in my bankruptcy, but they still harass.

same guy called me. Robert Davis who sounds middle eastern. I asked why have I not receive any info on u.s cash advance and he said why would they? what the hell? nothing in writing.I asked him to send this in writing and he said give me the name of your attorney and I mail it to him. He wanted me to settle on 300-400 to send to him to settle it.He said Ill give you 30 mins for your attorney to call me or he would press charges. He was almost at the point to cuss me out.

This guy called on cell and work phone from 888-332-4306 stated his name was Ben johnson, same thing had an indian accent, don't mean to sound racist.  Let me be politically correct he had a Middle Eastern accent.  I've gotten this calls before stated they are from a legal office, he couldn't give me the name of the Law office, so I finally hung up and reported them to the FBI, then to add insult to injury him back, he answered the phone, then I told him how he was nothing and that he was a fake, and that his company wasn't legit and when i told him I reported them to the FBI he got scared and hung up.  that's how you handled that.  You don't give them that power over you, you take it.

I am so over these people who some how get ahold of your cell phone #... This man with an accent keeps calling and making threats of jail etc.  If you get this call whatever you do DO NOT give them ANY personal information... They are SCAMMERS!!

I asked them for their address and they keep saying I was not allowed to have their address I only need to send money or my attorney.  I have no idea what they are talking about please help.
