I have a prepaid cell phone.  The prior owner of the number evidently had some debt problems. When I got this number in February 2009 I answered the phone and explained that I was not the person that they were looking for on several occasions.   For the last 2 1/2 years I've been receiving flurries of calls - no message left ever - from this number. What an amazing waste of everyone's time.  May they rot in hell.

We verbally terminated our service with QWest for our branch office on 2/1/11 to be done on 2/15/11. On 2/15/11 QWest sent out their people to shut off the service and collect their equipment. Everything was done correctly.  Then we started getting bills for this branch office, saying because I did not request this termination IN WRITING, we were still liable for the bills.  I told QWest repeatedly that no one asked me to.  QWest said it was in our contract.  I told them I did not have a copy of the contract, so they mailed one to me.  In the contract it does say to write requesting this termination service.  So even though I did not know it when I terminated, QWest themselves did not tell me when I terminated on 2/1, QWest says we are still liable.
Yesterday I got a call from West Asset Management and they hung up on me, and today I got another call and she hung up again.

I received several daily phone calls from this number and 402-651-0492 regarding a fee from Qwest for a early termination fee.I was never told of a termination fee until 3 months after I changed my number,then they shut off my new number because qwest says I owe them $1200 for the old numbers early termination fee! What is going on with qwest?Seems they are very desperate to make the investors happy and screwing the customers in the process.Bad thing is I still have qwest phone and internet and am afraid to shut it off,I am not sure if this line has an early termination fee attached to it?I am scared,this West Management Company will not listen to me,i tell them its not a valid account and they tell me to call qwest,qwest tells me I dont owe them anything!Is there a class action lawsuit coming or going on?

Number calls our place of business continually and hangs up each time we answer. If this is a collection call for Qwest...I think Qwest needs to look into who they hired. This is a horrible business practice, even for a collection agency. Our company left Qwest...and obviously not a moment too soon judging by their lack of concern over customer service/annoyance.

QWest has received full payment on our account, but is trying to get $1100 in early termination fees. This company is harrassing me with calls! They NEVER leave a message!

West Asset Management calls continually and hangs up when I answer. I called the number on the caller ID back today and spoke with a man that wasn't very helpful. He said he needed to speak with our owner and couldn't reveal the nature of the call. I asked why they continued to call and hang up...he said it was an automated dialer and he has no control over it. Annoying for sure. But if he's waiting for our owner to answer the phone..they will be calling for a VERY long time.

West Asset Mgmt called today to collect on un returned dsl modem.
I have the ARS tracking number.
I also received a bill from Qwest for the modem today, it is due by Aug 14th, today is Aug 2nd, so I am in collections before Qwest bills me.
Called Qwest, was assured this won't happen any more and they are looking for the returned modem.
Qwest sez they will pull the WAM dogs off me.
Qwest sez give it a week for them to find the modem.

Very glad we left Qwest after 12 years.

Repeated calls with and without messages for six months, to call back regarding a Qwest account.  This is for a fee Qwest charged for canceling their service when I moved out of state, a plan that had been lopped on to my account by a rouge customer service person who sold me a plan without disclosing the plan came with a several year contract and buyout fee of $400!!!  Seriously, what phone plan is even worth that!  I called Qwest to speak with them about the charge, they put me on hold indefinitely.  Seriously people, who runs a business like this!

I receive a call from this company once every three months claiming that they have a debt collection from Qwest telephone which I have not had in over 2 years.  Everytime I call Qwest, they tell me that they received my final payment after I requested phone service cancellation and they don't know why West Asset Mgmt continues to call me.  Qwest sends over some form of communication to WAM and the calls stop for a couple months.  PAIN IN THE HINDEND! I am in the process of filing a compliant with the Better Business Bureau of Nebraska against WAM.
