Got a call from this number. The company calls themselves Nationwide. Everything I have read about this company using this number says it is a scam. I'm going to do some investigating personally and will repost what I find.

We need to verify your address for service and process at your residence or place of employment. I have gotten these for a year now. It makes me laugh everytime! Total scam, the number will be disconnected in a few days. They'll change their name to something common like Nationwide or Huntington so it's impossible to google them. I sometimes call
Them back just to mess with them.

Yeah I get this call every other month or so with my "one opportunity" to contact them. Just ignore them. Kind of funny it's the exact same message every time. Lol come get me I've been waiting!?

What happened was your client either took out or applied for an online payday loan. THis company bought her information. But is most definatly not a legit company.

No, I was researching this company as requested by my client this morning. She provided the contact phone #, I did the same as you to try to piece the puzzle together.

Keep calling me people and Ill keep posting your number so they know what you are up to. Its a payday loan collection scam (google it)and if it were a legit business they wouldnt change their numbers so frequently. Yeah, their messages sound scary, but they are not about to serve you with paperwork at your home or place of employment. Just ignore them, they will go away.

So apparently you work for the company? That has to be the only reason you would show up on here trying to explain why this is legal. There are certain ways( tactful) ways to reach out to a person who owes a debt. But the rudeness and blatant disrespectful way they contact people is uncalled for. A little understanding and explanation goes along way.

Is this really a scam? I just received a near harrasing call and it distubed me. They stated I was going to have papers served and that I would be taken to court for fraud and writing bad checks for something I don't even recall.

Laws, contracts, rules, years, minutes, and time changes. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) includes dispute resolution processes and techniques that act as a means for disagreeing parties to come to an agreement short of litigation. ADR basically is an alternative to a formal court hearing or litigation. It is a collective term for the ways that parties can settle disputes, with (or without) the help of a third party. ADR are ways and methods of resolving disputes outside the judicial process (formal litigation ? court).

They change numbers quite frequently so people cannot google search the number. The is a SCAM and nobody is serving you with paperwork dont send them any money! They purchased your information. No legit companies use illegal tactics to collect a debt. This number will be disconnected shortly.
