They just called this morning. They call me about once a week, even though I already have AT&T Uverse for Internet service. They keep pressuring me to change my TV service  to Uverse too. Not interested, and I wish they'd stop calling me! I quit answering their number. They send me junk mail all the time too about Uverse TV. I just throw it straight into the recycling bin.

I figured it was another scam so I picked up the receiver, yelled "NOT NOW -- THE YANKEES ARE ON" and hung up.

Heres a hint jarrod -  stop calling with suspicious CID -  put ATT on it and mabey you will get a bite.  (Otherwise get a life -  scammer ) No one and I mean NO ONE believes you will take them off a "list"  that is pure BS

Called back again a few nights later.  Different person, but same pitch.  I told them I'm not interested.  They are trying to sell UVerse now that it is available in my area.

Received call from "toll free" this evening.  Guy with Canadian accent, reading off of a script, was looking to sell upgrades to AT&T service.  Asked which product/company I'm using for tv service.  I asked if he was trying to sell me U-Verse, he said yes.  Not interested.  I use Tivo and UVerse likes to make their interface work with their DVR's, not my beloved Tivo.

Repeated calls. Simply they do not get it. About ready to disconnect my newly installed phone which is unlisted/non-published number. Tired of being bothered. Start answering the call-enter * 77 and slammed the phone down to disconnect the call. This does eventually work. It has helped reduce the number of calls. Given so many scam artists and multitude of scams, use extreme caution with any unidentified number.

Seriously,  the DNC exempts political and charitable organizations completely.  Businesses with which you have or had a relationship with are exempt until you request they place you on their do not call list. You can even request to be placed on their do not mail list.  If you request it they will do it.  Don't be lazy just request it and you will be happy again, maybe.  Also if you owe a delinquent amount with a company they and their collection agents are exempt as well.

Stop being technical. Your calls are an intrusion and the entire telemarketing industry is a relic from the past. Within 10 years, there will be NO telemarketing allowed in the United States, service provider or not. You need to ditch your job in a dying industry.

just  received a phone call from this  number didn't answer since I did  know and let my answering machine  pick it up  and messages was left, they I called this number back that left on the my caller  id with number and like a lot of you am also on the national don't call list but some ho they are stilling calling  any way I called this number back and the phone  company  claims it not a working number and the number has been dicontrected  if you are a company please  leave  message if not stop trying to blow up my  phone and machine with stupid or no messages. what ever it that they are trying to sale me or any member of my household we are simply not inrested in what ever it is.

You're right but your national list does not prevent your SERVICE PROVIDERS from calling you. So you need to get on the company's no call list. As I say just request it and it is over

Nope.  Anyone selling goods or a service or working on behalf of a company to sell goods and services must abide by the DNC list.

Read the national dnc fine print. Service providers get around the traditional ndnc. Takes 2 seconds to stop it.

Here's a hint: if people are already on the DNC list, they shouldn't be getting called in the first place.

National do not call won't work for this, if you are getting a call from that number it means at&t is your service provider. And service providers can get through the national dnc. Want you want to do is talk to them next time they call and ask to ne put on the internal sales dnc list

I sell uverse from this number. Here is a hint, if you don't want the call talk to the person on the other end they can and will take you off the sales list if you request it.

I wish these guys would lose my number...Yes we are on the DNC list, but they get around it. I have blocked this number, yet they still call numerous times a day....I check the last call in and yep...TOLL FREE CALLER 1-888-342-2248. One would think that they would get the message and just give up.

Hey those tricky telemarketers are somehow getting away with calling in from "Private Caller". It used to be that it was just a couple of people we knew who were "Private Caller", but nooooooooo. We use the phone to talk with those we want to, not some scamming telemarketers.... I'll keep blocking....when the caller blocked is full...I empty the first one and start all over again.....they gotta get a life and leave mine alone!

Getting calls from this number.  No message.  Even if I answer the phone, I just get silence and then disconnected.  

Keeps calling me leaving no messages.  Looks like it must be ATT Uverse again.  I simply don't understand why ATT has such absolutely stupid marketing people.

Anyone with half a brain would realize it does not help to constantly harass potential future customers.  I might have someday considered using their service, since I already have ATT land line.  But after years of constant phone harassment, I would not even consider it.

Just Got A Call From 888-341-2248, I Do Not Pick Up Phone From Unidentifiable Numbers. GET RID OF ALL THESE PHONE SOLICITORS ONCE AND FOR ALL. The Do Not Call List DOES NOT WORK (I Am On It).
