I have told them a dozen times to stop calling my number. I want to know how they can get away with it. If you donate once then they are calling every week for more donations???

This company calls repeatedly (sometimes 3 times a day) claiming to be the Florida Highway Patrol requesting donations. They are NOT the FHP! When I asked for a website for more information they directed me to their website that is for multi-level marketing. They are rude and harassing and even though I told them several times to take me off their calling list, it took a formal complaint to the Division of Consumer Services before they complied. Do not donate to them!

Just got a call from this #. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Calls every day and hangs up always around 10 to 11 am

These people must call at least eight times a day! They should stop! It is becoming very distractive and annoying. It has reached the point of harassment! Nobody should do this to another human being... it is criminal! The next time I'll call the law!

Picked up and no answer.  Called back and they answered as Community Outreach.  I asked to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list.  They said it will take up to 30 days.  Here's to hoping.

The phone rang once.  We have gotten calls from this number frequently.

Someone from this number keeps calling and just "breathing."  I got fed up because we are also on the Do Not Call list and I called this number. They are called Community Outreach. The woman said she would take our number off the list. What is the purpose of the DNC list is we're being hounded by these groups?  And how is just "breathing" on the voice mail going to help them raise money?  Crazy.

they just call i dont answer. theres no point. I dont want to waste my time knowing its some telmarkete. aww the power of caller id!

Found the number on my caller ID when I came home tonight.  Didn't leave a message.

Calls every night about 8:30pm.  Some calls during the mid-afternoon.   No Caller ID.

These are telemarketers for "charity."  They may give as little as 8% of collected money to the "charity."  If they don't collect a specified minimum they give nothing to the "charity."  If you want to donate to the florida highway patrol or ANY charity, contact them directly.  When you give through these telemarketers your just supporting the telemarketing company. They try to convince the poor ignorant souls that work for them that they are not telemarketers.  They are telemarketers!! They've found a way around the DNC list and are making more money than ever because they've found a way to legally scam us.  They're profits are somewhere in the 80% range.  They could never make that selling goods so they sell you a "bill of goods" instead.  Many people think they are helping themselves by helping our police force.  You're just helping the telemarketing company.  Do yourself a favor.  If you want to support they Florida State Troopers, go to their web site.  Contact them and send your support directly to them.  Bypass this legal but in my opinion, unethical, middle man.

Phone rang once - no one there when I answered. Will be reporting to FCC, FTC, and FL State's Attorney General. These unsolicited calls MUST be stopped (charity or not)! I'm going look in to charging them with harassment/disturbing the peace and take them to Small Claims Court. Maybe taking some money out of their coffers will "take some wind out of their sails!"

July 29 2009 - just the number showed up on my caller I.D. Let the answering machine take it & "leave a message". No message left. They'll keep calling & we'll keep ignoring it.

Just got a call when they asked for a person by name - I replied "I keep getting calls for this person who are you?"  Replied they were with the Local Police allegiance or something to that effect and then asked "would you like me to take the number (my number) out of the file?  I said YES!! hope it works

Received a call, checked on this site, didn't call them back as it seems hopeless.

I picked up on 1st ring and they hung up. They told me Non Profit Organizations do not have the same do not call registry.  He did not tell me where that might be...anyone looked?
