If this address is correct, I actually grew up in Rockford. It is a small town (about 4,000) and the mayor does not let big (or much of any) business in the town. It no longer even has a grocery store. There are some pretty good people, but there are also some mean ones as well. Woodhill LN is privet housing ONLY.  So it is run out of the house. Another post is right on, they are trying to look bigger than they are, or can be.

I don't blame you I just reived a call from a Mr. Frances and the thing is they're not even calling on my behalf but someone elses. They are very unprofessional people and very aggressive with their manipulating threats. I called back asking Mr Frances why is he contiuing to call my phone when he calling the wrong number he then stated my number was the number the person gave them. I mean this man knew my name and everything, very rud and ignorant but of course as I continued to qestio himhe hung up on me as well. I'll just say to get respect from me you definantly have yo earn it, smh at them because if they would talk to people alittle better they may get some answers!

I guess you have never been unemployed or underemployed in your life or had a medical crisis for yourself or a loved one or you wouldn't make a statement like that. This company refuses payment arrangements and threatens "the next step". I have Stage 4 Breast Cancer and have not been able to work and my company doesn't offer Health Insurance to me because I work under 40 hrs a week.  So get off your high horse.

All collection agents use fake names, that way as either someone who owes a debt or is just unlucky enough to now have the debtors phone number... you can't look them up in the phone book and call them at home. I work at a Collection Agency years ago... I was fired for being to nice.

But they don't owe these invented bills the scammers want them to pay.  Yes, everyone should pay their bills... to the original creditor, not some stranger who acts tough and bullies you.

I cannot believe people post that they are going to "slander" this company, when they are admitting to embellishing the facts.  This country would be much better off if everyone paid their bills.

I too just today had the same thing happen!! I was hung up on 4 times!!! In responce to my delay in paying because I found a charity program that may help me with my medical bills the woman said to me before hanging up on me.......good luck getting someone else to pay your bills for you loser! I called the hospital that hired them....noo luck there..they stand by there choice in collections!!! I feel soo terrorized...AND JUST FOUND OUT THEY CHECKED MY CREIDT WITH OUT MY CONSENT OR KNOWLAGE!!!!!! WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT!!!

I hope enough of us follow through, because they are using illegal practices. Maybe also working with the creditor regarding how this reflects on their business, using such an unprofessional and abusive company. I wouldn't give this company a dime, how could you trust people that behave that way.

Just pay the creditor directly, NEVER work with these guys. They have no qualms with practicing unethicial and illegal behavior in the hopes that no one has the money or time to sue them.

I'm pretty sure Greg Farrell and Ben Johnson are pseudonyms they use when making threats. It's a very very shady and sleazy company to work with.

This is an abusive collection agency that uses fake names in order to avoid connection to the abusive and threatening statements they make.

They will never make a payment arrangement with you, they only threaten to sue you or garnish your wages if you do not pay in full immediately.

I paid the creditor directly in payments and would never work with these guys. They are childish, irrational, abusive and unprofessional. I always do my best to pay medical bills, but it's easy to fall behind with a big, unforseen bill - these guys will never work with you under any circumstances. They will only bully and harrass.

I'm filing a complaint as well with the FCC, FTC and BBB.

I received a call this morning from a Mr. Francis.  He informed me of an outstanding bill and asked for the full amount of almost $800.00 to be paid in full immediately.  When I informed him that I did not have this amount of money he stated he would put me down as a refusal to pay and send it to a lawyer, followed by hanging up on me.   I attemtped to call back twice to speak with a supervisor and again he hung up on me.   I finally got a  hold of Mr. Johnson who was unwilling to work with me dispite the fact that the website states they can set up a payment plan.   I will continue to slander this company and the rude employees that work for them.   The way you approach a conversation is the way you will be treated.    I will be filling with the Attourney General.

These people keep calling. With threats. I have never heard of

I had several people (ie ex friends of an ex) call me saying these pricks wanted me to call them... I have never used these people that were getting called on anything. When I called the number. A guy asked for my phone number an when I asked for the company first, he merely said call back when your ready and hung up. Where are they getting their references... In my state unless they were provided in the original arrangement it legally qualifies as harassment, and the company is charged $1000 dollar fine. Screw these guys. Im recording the next few calls.

I also recieve several phone calls a day from this collection agency. I do owe a major hospital bill and I am making monthly payments to them, but they are not happy with that. I have a heart condition and have no insurance. I would be dead if I didn'nt go to the hospital when my heart acts up. Them calling me multiple times a day only causes me more stress, which I am not supose to have!

Calls never leaves a message - very annoying!

Got three nasty calls from them in the last two days for a former employee.  They wouldn't say what it was about or anything.  Very rude.  Completely unprofessional.  

I was able to use that rule about not calling at a place of business for personal collections issues to get them to stop calling here.

If you hate dealing with these guys on the telephone, I have heard the best thing to do, is mail the largest payment you can afford, with a letter explaining your situation.  Explain in the letter what you intend on doing, and stick to it.  EVERYONE would be better off if people took Dave Ramsey's advice:

i had to drop out of a class for medical reasons, and plan to go back. they are still owed a balance, which i will pay upon my return. the "education funding company"--actually a collection agency; they called my son 2x a day for 2 wks, and had no authorization to do so; when i called, the guy started yelling at me, so i asked for a supervisor.  got somebody called greg farrell.  he said he took my son's tn out of the system.  now we will see what happens.

We have been getting calls from this number (but we are the wrong number - obviously inherited one from someone with past due bills).  I tried to explain this to them and was literally berrated - insulted - and yelled at.  I was so shocked after they hung up on me after their insults.  I called them right back and asked for customer service, they said, "we don't have a customer service (no doubt!)"  He asked if he could help, I told him what had happened.  He said, "did he say he would delete your number?"  I said he had.  His reply - "THEN GET OVER IT, and have a nice life...click"  Wow.  Scam - for sure.

This is the address of Kimberly Anne Patzner, debt collector lic. #20279757, and Steven G. Patzner, owner of the corp.  Supposedly Steven G. Patzner is dba Greg Farrell (debt collector).

Beware of this "organization."  When you are able to get them to answer the phone, they have incomplete information and seem more interested in seeking further details than actually answering any relevant questions. It appears that this is a few guys sitting in their living room pretending to make collections calls. Their website has hints of attempting to appear bigger than they actually are. The immature and insulting conversations that took place with Greg Ferrell, Steve, and Ben proved that this is more a fraternity than a company. My recommendation is that if you receive a call from them, contact the institution they are allegedly collecting for and recommend strongly that organization find alternative representation.
