So I got jipped. I was taking a nap as I worked all night and got a call from this number on both my cell and home line. Saying that I should call immediately or deal with the matter. They said that they were from the local district court in connection with the local sheriff's department and said they would have me arrested if I didn't pay this debt immediately.

Said I owed a settlement of $508 on a payday loan I never got. I will say that I attempted to get a payday loan, but I never did receive one because of my credit history. I asked what creditor and he said USAcreditor which said covers all the creditors in the United States. I was having a hard time figuring out what he was saying because of his accent.

I later ended up giving him my debit card number which now I need to sort out before he tries to take $660 out of my bank account on the 24th for a loan I never took out, there is going to be hell. After the initial call where he asked me to write up this letter and send a picture from my cell phone of the letter and a picture of my driver's license and the debit card I used. This was the letter he told me to write up (not type up, no other legalities, lined paper was fine)

He first off made a big deal about the eastern standard time thing. If it was someone locally, that would just be a given. He also made a HUGE deal about the "I will not dispute this matter in present or in future.

I didn't send the emails after I did some digging and got a call from this number over 14 times. I also got a call from him at the number (888) 481-1547. When I picked it up and said it wasn't the same number nor the ones he gave me, I hung up. He called back again and has from a restricted number. I picked THAT one up and told him I had called the district court's office (which I had) and was told that that number had no connection with their office, that the case number was given was false (had more numbers than what a normal one has) and that it was fraudulent. As I waited, I got a call back from the court saying that this is part of an ongoing investigation over these companies. I didn't stop receiving calls until an hour later. I'll keep you updated if they come back.

He also called from a "4400" so yeah....He also called my work and yelled at them. His last message to me said something along the lines of "because you tried being smart with me, we will send the police"

I'm guessing they got my SSN, phone number, address off of a payday loan application I sent in when I was in a bind. I never received any of those loans ever...the only ones I have are school loans and that's not what he is saying I owe.

So, watch out for this.

Payday Loan collector, but they tell you,that you have been charged with a crime in another state.  It is an Indian male voice.  Talk to them and they get frustrated and make threats. I think it is United Check cashing.  Being an idiot, took a $250 payday loan, which then grew with other deposits from other off shore banks.  Bank account was closed since they wont stop debiting my account.  I want to pay them off, but they have no address and all transactions must be via ach or wire.   they want you bank account number

I got a call today from a foriegn Indian guy. He said i owe money for us advance. 225.00. I told him no i didn't. He said his name was Kevin Smith a american name. I heard foreigners in the back ground not speaking english. He threatened if i didn't send him 5000.00 he would have  me locked up and in court. I told him he was wrong and hung up. Another guy called right back and had my address social security number and Bank. He threatened me too. I told him i had my bank record's and he was lying and i wasn't paying something i didn't do. He threatened me  and hung up. his number  888-360-6634/ I scared me until my Brother n law googled the number.If you see this number don't anser. I am going to report it tommorrow.They did not give a company name . He just said he was a investigator

At our place of employement we got a call for an ex employee of ours.  When we told them they no longer worked here he said he was going to come to our business and F**K me.  I told him to keep talking as we are recording him and then he promptly hung up.

This number has called my work looking for a coworker.  She has gotten similar calls from a different number/person, but both persons have a thick Indian accent.  Pretty sure it's a scam.

I GET THEM TO HE SAYS HE IS A POLICE OFFICER NAME OFFICER JOHNSON FOR THAT REASON THEY SHOULD BE PUT I N JAIL IF WE DID IT WE WOULD BE.

These guys have been harassing my wife and has her a little scared, I keep telling her to hang up when they call, I'm a little worried also because they have her ssn and bank acct #

I have been getting these calls all week. They say I owe a debt.I have no debt from these people. Make sure you report this to the authorities i have.

I am so tired of these ppl calling me, I have had this number for about a yr, told them to take me off the calling list and they keep calling , they just called twice. and when they did I called bak and said take me off the calling list and he said I assure u that ur not gonna get another call and I said honestly I dont believe u because they keep saying this and thats when he said well f*ck u then and Hung up.. this is crazy I'm Realli tired of it and i dont know who to report it to..

I have gotten many calls from a man named Mr. Miller saying i need to pay back a loan if i didnot reply he would have me fired from my jod and have me arrested at my home. he uses to different numbers 18883606634 and18664649547.

This happen to me, this morning, this man with distinctly Indian or weird accent.

my fear is that they tell my complete social security number.
Iam scare that they can use it for something else.

I just got off the phone with someone who had a distinctly Indian accent. Gave me a name that was supposed to be a white guy, supposedly, the supervisor. The call had enough echo on it that I couldn't hardly understand myself when it echoed back to me. I had them call me back and the bad echo continued. I eventually hung up. They are not in the US and they are not legit.

I have been geeting several calls from this number and deleted the messages before I could hear them through.  I just listened today and he the man has a heavy middle eastern accent, is threatening legal action and had the NERVE to say God bless you at the end of the call.

This is a scam. The caller has a very heavy accent and is threatening legal action if I do not call. They are trying to extort money from US residents by scaring people into belieiving you owe money for Phantom Debt. A california man is behind this and actually works with a call center in India where the money is sent. Report all such calls to your loacal authorities and the Attorney General as an on going investigation and criminal charges are in the works to stop these scum bags.
