12/30/10  got a call at noon on my cellphone.  first time that i am aware of.  i am happy to say that i very rarely get calls to my cell.  my home phone...well that's a different story.

Anyone else getting calls from this phone number?

It is United States Metals. Calling businesses to get you to invest..how STUPID!  Same as all the oil & gas scamming businesses out there.  If I were going to invest my hard-earned money it would NOT be with some jack leg that called ME on the phone. I mean seriously people, what a stupid way to do business.

Anyway, I called them back pressed '0' for an operator and spoke to a pleasant man that was happy to take down my information & remove us from their call list.

I'm on a roll today, I've called 2 telemarketing companies, talked to 2 operators (both pleasant) and was reomved form their databases.  I'm heading outr to buy a lottery ticket!!

Telemarketers.

Undate after looking at my records about United States metals. They called in April and said I didn't have to pay taxes on any profit since they don't send 1099s. They called again and said that Warren Buffett owns 50% of the world's supply of silver. Big fraud. High turnover. All the calls are from rookies.

United States Metals; bunch of Bozos. Wanted to send me something. Too stupid to try to sell me while I was on the phone.

JERKS called again. See the post immediately prior. this morning time they hung up on my business answering machine during business hours. This time they hung up on me in the evening after office hours.  Great marketing strategy, huh?

Caller I.D. says UNAVAILABLE. Hung up on my business answering machine. Despite the advice give in the posts above, you cannot believe anything a stranger says to you on the phone. Caller I.D. can be and is often faked by crooks.  Don't answer, don't push buttons on command, don't call them back.

These jerks will call all of my private residential numbers including the fax line & they will never leave a freakin message.
I've asked them to stop calling, but they never do.  This has gone on for over 1 year.

I got called too...Nice young lady picked up the phone. It is some type of investment company. I asked to be removed from their list and she said she would put it on a do not call list of some sort. So all you have to do is call them. They were at least polite. ( Bobby )

I think there's a listing of phone# that my investment company sells to these telemarketers.

I constantly get calls on the work numbers from this number and NOBODY IS THERE!  Silence. . . How can we report this and get them in trouble ?

Telemarketers...get a life and stop calling; you are not wanted.

I have received calls form this number as well, but they do not leave a message.
