A debt collector, not sure which one. A recording saying they are trying to reach RANDY KEEN or Dallas, TX  (loser, low life who 'worked' here for awhile then took money from a BS insurance claim for about 4 years!). Recording states 'if you are RANDY KEEN, press 1' then- if you need time to get RANDY KEEN on the phone, press 2, 'if this is a wrong number press 3.'  Since this loser has zip to do with this company I pressed 3.  I'll post an update should they call back.
The person that posted about Portfolio Recovery is RIGHT. Those guys stop at nothing. If you don't pay & they write off the debt you will get a 1099-M where the amount written off (penalties, fees, etc...) will be reported to the IRS as INCOME, thus yiu will pay taxes on the debt. Better than paying the debt. So if they have a debt that is coming up on the 7 year time limit to collect, expect a 1099-M.
Personally, I would ignore Portfolio Recovery.

I just wanted to share with people, that recently our bank account was seized by a debt collector, every penny gone, it can be done when they take you to court, whether you show up or not, if you have a paycheck, they can garnish it, or track down your bank accounts and freeze them all, so, if you owe anyone, do NOT ignore them, you could be more than a month without any funds at all. Also I wanted to tell you this was a 1200.00 old credit card bill, and we were able to borrow the money to pay the entire debt, that was two weeks ago, and our account is still frozen even tho we wired the money to them within minutes. #1 Portfolio Recovery!!!! They will go to court and freeze your account!!! They WILL NOT RELEASE YOUR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY WHEN YOU PAY, IF YOU EVEN HAVE ANY MONEY TO DO SO!!! I closed my accounts,I keep a checking acct. with bare minimum in it to pay bills:{  If you have funds from the government they do not have the right to freeze that, but you may need to go to court just to prove it!!!! Oh and they are all VERY NASTY AND RUDE!!!ID LIKE TO SUE THEM FOR 4 WEEKS OF LIES, HARASSMENT, AND NOT BEING ABLE TO EVEN PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE!!! PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ARE LIARS, AND THEY ARE VERY VERY NASTY ON THE PHONE!!! KEEP ALL MESSAGES RECORDED!!!!!

Received recorded message upon picking up the line, and it said "sorry for the inconvienence" then a dial tone.  Thought it was weird, so I did an internet search...glad I found this site!

This number called and left a Msg. Said something like " this is Casey fox from the blackfeld law group....we are a third party attempting to collect a debt. " I do not have any debt and will not be calling this number back....

Called my houose, then claimed that they couldn't find my telephone number in their system. ASKED ME FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!!!! Total scam!

who are these people?  Are they who they say they are? I have had so many bull s*** calls that I dont know what ones r for real and what ones arent anymore

This company keeps calling my daughter and won't tell us why they are calling.  They say they are a
law firm called Brachfeld law agency.  One caller spoke clear English but the one yesterday had an accent of a person from India.
