This company is a scam and took over $500 out of my account.  Do not tell them ANYTHING!!! they are a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they burn in hell for what they do to people and the reviews I read after google.com them.

Two men called me from this number, and were very obnoxious and rude. They claimed to be with a credit company.

Claim to be Obama Debt Relief.  When you call the number they are actually EMA. Told them to never call back again.  Called back in less than 1 minute.

I signed up with EMA over a year ago and they have done everything they promised for me. The problem is that, like me, most people don't listen to what the people are saying on the phone and don't read our contracts. I orginally was concerned about giving my info to these people and when my creditors began calling me to offer huge settlements i was shocked. They got me a 70% reduction of my BofA credit card where my $23k balance got paid off through e.m.a for $6k!

If this is not satisfaction i don't know what is, I highly recommend e.m.a and my agent Steve for all the great help!

I was also fooled into the on line signature, by EMA. All the lies and deception and basically nothing can be done if you got taken. When I realized what had been done I went directly to my bank, only to hear that a hold was made on my acct and I could not stop it. Noteworld is the company EMA uses to set up the payments and accounts. The next day the 2nd  Debt from EMA. which was not authorized ,still nothing can be done. EMA was called by my bank to confirm that EMA took money out of my account ,after I was told no money was handled by EMA only Noteworld was to take 1 payment a month. never got a refund or any services. They wont return calls or answer phones. They send spam and other offers like nothing is wrong,and several times I was told it takes 4 months to get an answer from their legal people on getting my money back. E-mails say to contact them for account info, which is all a big game they play,I hope they get a big kick out of it. as I will when they are held responsible for their dishonest scams

they will call and call and they never leave you alone. what they said about lowering your is a total lie. they didn't even take 50% off like they said.this company sucks.

I recently got a call from this number. One of their representatives convinced me to give them personal information claiming that it was only for an approval. I told them multiple times I have no money to make payments but sure enough within four days of my communications with them I had a charge of on my account and put my into a negative balance. I called them back and they told me there is nothing I can do and that I have to make my payment every month till the program is complete. I disputed the charge through my bank and I was refunded my money. Do not deal with these guys. I was told more bold face lies by them than I can count.

These are the worst type of scammers they prey on people who already broke. They will bring you to bankruptcy and not help you at all.

I keep getting a call from 888-362-7077 saying they want to help me with my 35,000 debt... which I don't have... not that much... AND when I tell them I don't want a call from them again... they get pissy with me and tell me not to interrupt them when they are speaking... I tell them to take me off of their "Calling list" and the guy tells me that that is a fantasy.. and they do not have a calling list.. . When I tell them not to call me again. He gets more angry and snotty with me and starts insulting me.  What do I have to do for them not to call me. They call both my home phone and my cell phone.

They call over & over.  When you do try to answer - no one is there!  Do they get paid by the number of times they call - but don't have to answer?  Give it up!  I am at work - get a job!

How did this get resolved? I am in the same situation.

ema is a scam they will take your money and not do anything to help you become debt free they will let your crediters go after you then leave you no choice to go into bankcrupcy witch after they will take all your money you paid into the program as"fees"and this scam is from montreal canada not california there liers and if you watch the news or google debt settlement they will all say its a big scam dont do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally called them back (after SEVERAL daily phone calls/messages) to ask to be taken off of their call list, and they threatened to report ME for harrassing THEM because they were a legitimate company and didn't have time for my "prank calls" claiming they were solicitors!

We've received two more calls from this number. Why isn't the phone company accountable for these bogus calls? Why hasn't this number been disconnected?!

I received a very obnoxious call from two men at this number. They claimed they were working with my "credit company."

How in the hell do I get them to STOP calling. I had a call this morning @ 7:45am, I talked to these guys last week after being called repeatedly. I told them not interested and to take me off of their list. Told the guy this morning the same thing. He would NOT let me get off of the phone. I had to hang up. This is ridculous...

I got  two calls too... because I knew it was a scam, I was laughing at the guy he kept telling me it was a wonderful opportunity to pay my bills... and I said really??? and he went on and as he talked I laughed ...he got so upset that he even said that it was my fault that the country is in recession... it only made me laugh harder... please people don't fall for these scams... the only person that's going to pay off your bills is you and no one else. The goverment will not pay your bills. Be smart and don't give your information.

i think you're probably right.wow, it's weird, i would never normally do that sort of thing, i don't really trust people in general..certainly not strangers calling randomly on the phone, they use very aggressive selling tactics..

If you gave them your bank account number or any of the numbers off the bottom of one of your checks from your check book, you need to call your bank right now and tell them what happened. Ask them to close your account and make you a new one.

YES! I just talked to these guys, like an hour ago, I can find NO info about their company anywhere.They are very pushy, nice at first using all kinds of strong sales techniques, then insist on giving them personal/financial info. I argued with them, needing time to check out the company, but they said i would not be considered if I didn't agree ( by initialling documents online)right away...I am concerned since I did give them my account #, but didn't authorize anything, so.... now do I call my bank? can they get into my account somehow with only numbers from my check?
