I had a missed call from 512 2014564. No message was left, so I returned the call. The line was answered "dynamic recovery service". I told them I had a missed call from this number, and the lady asked, "what number did we call?" I told her, and she took several minutes then said we are trying to reach someone, I didn't know the person, told her she had the wrong number,  then she said do you know this lady? I told her again she had the wrong number. She then asked for a different person, not even the same last name as the first, I once again told her she has the wrong number. Seems she had a long list, and was just going down it. Seriously? Wrong # means wrong #!

Got a call from this number. A woman say I should call this number because some was received in her office.

I got a call from Ms. James left a message saying a very important matter was in their office & needed a return call. She neither said to whom the matter was addressed nor identified the business. Caller ID shows a phone number with a number local to Columbus, Ga. Needless to say I want be calling them back.

Called from a local number saying her name was miss Harris and that it was extremely urgent that I call back this toll free number. She never said who she was calling with or who she was trying to reach.

I just got a call and the caller ID showed 502-413-2927 which is Louisville KY.  Based on what I've read here, they seem to be spoofing phone numbers?  May indeed be a collection agency but does not appear very reputable.  I won't be calling Ms. Grant back no matter how EXTREMELY important it is.

A Ms. Durant called me, and also said that it was urgent for me to call back.  She didn't leave any details, and the (888) number that she left did not match the local number that popped up on my phone.

I got a calk from a Jordan something and he told me he need to all to me about actions taken on my behalf and the weird thing is the number showed as 210 area code and he said to call 888-362-8757.  In the back I could here all kinds if traffic.  This douche was calling me from a cellphone.  I mean seriously?!?!

Received a call today from Mrs. Grant. She indicated multiple times on the voice recording that I contact them immediately. The number that appeared on my caller ID was 661-709-3285 but I was instructed to contact them at 888-362-8757. I decided to amuse myself by calling the 661 # instead. the woman that answered was not Mrs. Grant. They claimed to be a collection agency called Dynamics Collection. The woman indicated that she was collecting on debt made by me in 2001 for Crate and Barrel. I have never shopped there nor ever heard of it until today.

Same thing basically....I called back the number that they called from (615-800-4147)  versus the number that they wanted me to call them back on....a guy answered "hello"

I asked why I received an urgent phone call from this number and he put me on hold and  passed it to another guy...who asked me if I was Maria, and when I said "no' he asked me if I was some other name and I said "no" and he thanked me and hung up as I asked who they are.

Now that we all know they are scammers, how do we prosecute, especially if none of us were fooled by the scam?

received a call from a # that showed on the caller id as 646-513-3528. The person said their name was "Mrs. Paul"(don t they have a frozen food by that name?). They said that they this number as a contact # and that it is imperative that this call be returned ASAP! They gave the callback # as 888-362-8757. When I pulled up the 646# it comes up as a wireless call from somewhere in NY. There is another # that might appear which is 646-7557012. When I dialed that # ( I called from my cell phone) all it says is hold for next available agent, then there is dead air for several minutes. A honest person woould say the party they are trying to contact.  Twice they have called tfrom this # and never said the party they are lookin for.

I just got a call from "Rufus Brown" at (360)524-9724 who told me that he needed to speak with my husband about an EXTREMELY important matter. When I told him my husband wasn't home, he said he needed to share this EXTREMELY urgent matter with me. He then proceeded to tell me that my husband owed $934.32 to Home Shopping Network, and we needed to pay immediately. I told him we had never shopped at home shopping network and this must be fraud, and he said that I should still pay him in order to save my husbands good name. He would not let me off the phone, and kept telling me how he didn't have any details on what this was for, but that HSN wouldn't be able to tell me anything either, as they had turned the account over to him. I asked why I had never received a bill, or an email, or a call from HSN about this matter, and he said that that was their prerogative. When I finally got fed up and said that I was NOT going to pay him EVER, and that I would close our credit cards, and report this fraudulent service to our credit report, he then said that if I didn't pay the account would go into a refusal to pay status and I would start receiving multiple calls to collect the debt. He told me to call him back at 888-362-8757 to pay him. I immediately called HSN and of course, they have no record of any debt, or purchase by me OR my husband. VERY VERY suspicious! There is also nothing on our credit report! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I have also received a call from a woman asking me to call her back immediately because she has to speak to me about an urgent business matter. Everytime she has called it has been from a local number but her contact  number is 18883628757.  I mistakenly answered my phone and she said she works for DRS but when asked what kind of company it is, she would not respond.  She expects me to be upfront with her when she can't even tell me about the company she is claiming to represent.  Sounds like some foolery to me.

A Ms. Durant left a message saying that this was an extremely important matter that is in their office. Never asked for a specific person nor identified the name of the business. The phone number came from a 973 area code. but then was told to call back 888-362-8757

When I on the way to work, my phone rang with a 646 513-3528 phone number on the screen and I ignored it because I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. Then few seconds later my voice mail goes off. She leave message: " This Is Ms. Grant. This number was listed as a contact in this office and I need you to call 888-362-8757 right away! It is very important that you call! Again the number is 888-362-8757! Very important that you call right away!"  It is VERY Suspicious that I received same message at my office.


If it is Very important, she would leave the name of the office.

This is some strange stuff, it comes across as a local number but a message(voice recorded) is left with a 1-888 number?!

Well yea, they must think we're stupid - lol!

Got a call from the same 888 number ( 888-362-8757 ) and the woman left the same message but this time it wasn't from a Ms. James or Ms. Grant, it was from a Ms. Paul.  You all notice how the last names for the woman are masculine?  Lol, of course you do! The number on caller ID was from an obviously spoofed geographically local location.  That being, 417-553-4375.

I sure won't be calling back. (I don't owe any debt anyways)

I got one of these calls, the previous owner of my home phone was a business and I've gotten numerous collections calls for this business. Just one more to ignore.

got a call from 727-288-2909 left message on my phone saying extremely urgent that i call this number 888-362-8757

Got a call from 407-434-0619 but whoever they are told me it was urgent that I call back the toll free number. They never identified their company or who they were trying to reach so I WON'T be calling. Stupid debt collectors should be sued for their harassment.

Got a message from a Ms. Grant said very important, not calling back, just another scam

I received the same call... message left on my voicemail.

"Yes, This is Ms. James.  We have this as a contact number regarding a matter in our office.  If you willl please contact this office as soon as possible, it is extremely important.  Our number here is 1-888-362-8757 again our number is 1-888-362-8757.  It is very important that we receive a return call as soon as possible.  I appreciate your cooperation."

I received a call from 1-888-362-8757. The call was from Mrs. James and said it the same thing it is very important to call her back.  Never said who the call was for or the company.  I called the number back and
it rang for a long time and finally a gentleman answer and said this is Andrew would not give company name or anything. I will not call back.

Received a call from 202-470-3877. A woman by the name of Ms. James left message to call her back extremely import at 888-362-8757. Not calling them back as I see know its a dumb collection agency.

I received a call today from a Mrs. James and she left a message.  She stated that this was a contact # given and that this was VERY IMPORTANT MATTER and it was VERY IMPORTANT that I call her back ASAP at 888-362-8757.  Needless to say I will not return any call, and I am glad I didn't answer.

I also received a call from these people it's a collection agency.

Got the same message from the same Lady, but obviously a recording because it must have started playing as soon as my voicemail picked up so that by the time MY greeting was done and the time came for a normal caller to actually start to leave a message, she was half way through her speech and I didn't really get any info on who she was or what the call was about, but she "extremely" repeated the 888 number "extremely" twice!!

My cell phone caller ID said 801-657-5870 , Salt Lake City, Utah area code.

I received a call today from a Mrs. James and the caller ID had 857-453-4299.  She stated that this was a contact # given and that this was VERY IMPORTANT MATTER and it was VERY IMPORTANT that I call her back ASAP at 888-362-8757.  Needless to say I will not return any call, and will be placing both numbers on my do not call list on my cell phone.  Beware of all scammers out there!

A 660-0740 phone number on the caller ID. The voice message says something to the affect of, call 888-362-8757 right away! It is very important that you call!
