They just keep on calling and they never leave a message. When I do pick up, they just hang up.

this number is not verizon, it is a company called "connect north america" who claims to work on behalf of verizon wireless. if you call verizon wireless (you can find their REAL number on their website), you can ask them to block this phone number for you, then they will give you additional instructions on how to make sure this number remains blocked. i asked the verizon wireless customer service woman about this company, and she said that if anyone says they are calling on "behalf" of verizon wireless, do not trust it. when the real verizon number calls you, it shows up as unlisted. THIS IS NOT VERIZON WIRELESS. Block this number, and do NOT give them any information!

just actually called Verizon Wireless and explained that there were mixed reviews on the blogs and that this number claims to be an affiliate of verizon wireless. I have to admit, at first, I didnt' believe that it was verizon wireless because generally speaking the customer service that I get is great. This lady professionalism almost reflected  the same as a collections caller. Anyway, She would NOT proceed to tell me what it was about until I gave her my number. RED FLAG! So I hung up and contacted verizon wireless.  The verizon wireless rep called the number and confirmed that it was a verizon affialiate. That they use a 3rd party vendor for their promotions and that it was legit.

Call Verizon and have this number blocked! for it is NOT verizon calling. They were calling me everyday at the same time...very annoying! So i called verizon and they check to make sure it wasnt a verizon # and it wasnt. More than likely its a SCAM!

They call me every morning at it is annoying.   I say we call them everymorning  and annoy them.

Everyday I get a call from this phone number. No message. No idea who they are and what they want. Can I block this number?

I recently began receiving calls from this number. After reading the above comments I will not be answering the phone. Thanks to those who let the rest of us know who this caller is. I will do the same in the future.

This is getting very annoying with all the mysterious calls.

I woud like to report that I get daily calls from this number. Since I recognize it I do not pick - up the phone anymore.  It is very annoying!!

2  consecutive calls today. i tell then they will be shot. no one on the line. they hang up very slowly. i'm on do not call list but.....

I get calls daily from this number.  When I see it on Caller ID, I do not answer it.  However, it's
extremely annoying - no message is ever left, and I am on the No Call list.

Got the usual dead line after ansering the phone.
I called the number and told them never to call me again.
If I get another call, I will file complaint.

My number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. After I bought something from a company, a telemarketer representing that organization called me. Is this a violation?

No. By purchasing something from the company, you established a business relationship with the company. As a result, even if you put your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, that company may call you for up to 18 months after your last purchase or delivery from it, or your last payment to it, unless you ask the company not to call again. In that case, the company must honor your request not to call. If they subsequently call you again, they may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000 .

An established business relationship with a company also will be created if you make an inquiry to the company, or submit an application to it. This kind of established business relationship exists for three months after the inquiry or application. During this time, the company can call you.

If you make a specific request to that company not to call you, however, then the company may not call you, even if you have an established business relationship with that company. You should keep a record of the date you make the request.

I get calls from this number about everyday - more than once, in fact.  I have a cell phone through Verizon - so, they legally get to call and 'harrass' me for more business.  I think they need to rethink the DO NOT CALL guidelines.

Three calls from it in the past three days, all between 2 and 4 p.m. Same as the experience of others here and at other sites found when I Googled the number: You pick up, but no one's there. It's very, very annoying--and apparently, from the dates of the reports at the various websites, it's been going on  (same number, same details) for something like five years! Un[blank]ingbelievable!

Why is Verizon calling and hanging up???

888 366 0903 told me they were one touch direct. i called them and told them not to call and to take me off their list. i spoke to a supervisor who said his name was terry drakeford and he said he would take me off the list....they're still calling. they seem to think that someone in this household has a verizon cell phone but don't know who the person is or whqt the cell phone number is..pretty strange.

i noticed on 8-9-09 that anon said they told him/her that they were connect north america.

anyway, i filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov

got a call from 888-366-0903 ,i called them back and got  a recorded message to call 716 882-8000 which is computer task group. i called 716 882 8000 and computer task group said that they were not the ones who were calling me and to file a complaint re: 888-366-0903. i filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov

they are not supposed to be calling on people on the donotcall list who do not have verizon wireless. they do not identify who they are and just hang up. telemarketers are not supposed to be doing this either. also, cid comes up unavailable. reputable companies do not behave like this.

got another call from 888-366-0903. caller id says unavailable of course, they don't leave a message on the answering machine, there is just some hissing sound like a recorder. sending to  www.donotcall.gov. i suspect it's a skip tracer or collection agency.
