Last year my wife called them and they said she owed 2000 and had 8 more payments to go.  She called today as we realized its been well over 8 payments and a year.  They said she still owed the same and had 8 more payments left.  She asked how that is and they said " I don't know".  Yeah real informative shouldn't they know everything?  It;s their job.  Also she would never get a statement stating how much is owed.  Wells Fargo would do this monthly.  Alot of people say they signed documents with fargop not with these bozos and I totally agree with that.  Something si not right with this company.  I am thinking some crooked bastartd had the money to buy this company and is probably operating out his /her living room.  I wouldn't be surprised if they owe her money.  This loan originally with Wells fargo was a 4 year term, all of a sudden & years later she is still owing 2000.  Just doesn't seem right.  I love my wife so much and I do not like her being screwed around, it makes me want to come face to face with the person scamming her roughing em up and scaring the crap out of them, but I have more class than that.  I will let KARMA get them.  I too was scammed in the past by fake Loan companies that get you to pay to get a loan.  I wish everyone luck with this and if you know anyone who is stuck with these guys let them know close the account they are withdrawing from.  Good day folks

Does anyone know if Wells Fargo represents anyone besides themselves? I've never dealt with either company and they have been phoning 4-6 times per day repeatedly for two weeks now using an 'Unknown' number which couldn't be blocked. I contacted my telephone provider, and they told me that the calls do not show up on their records which is unusual and that I might have to change my number. Every time I've picked up, a recording comes on asking me to hold-infuriating!!
Finally, today a recording was left to contact this number and gave the SST name. I haven't a clue what they want or who they are looking for and am concerned if someone else has used our phone #. They sound like a very difficult company to deal with and I don't want to have to change my telephone number but this is ridiculous.

I typed in sstfinancial.ca. I took me to a page that had a listing called my account. I filled in my info, and it did take me to my aact page. I hope this helps.

did you find a web site for them ??? I called and asked for my account number and they gave it to me ,I asked if they had a web site so I could look up my account and she said yes , and I tried it and no such thing anyone know it ???

So again they have changed their phone number to 877 476 4426.  These guys are real a** holes.  My payment which is due on the 4th of every month.  Well this month they started calling me on the 2nd asking for payement.  They phone now  at least 6 times a day starting at 8 am and go until 9 pm I will not answer their calls as I am at work and when I get home I am not talking to them either.  The payements are made on time on line and they continually harrass me so sick of them.  And hey nothing online about them but this complaint page.  Wow what a bunch of jerks cant wait till this thing is paid in full then I can tell them where to go and how to get there.

i am sick and tired of these unprofesional people calling me every week for payments that i have allready paid.. they do not listen at all... a fly by night made up company??????

yer i also have a loan with these guys they are totely unprofessional they call and herass me every week about my payment, i pay the loan over the phome and then 10 minits later they call me back again and ask why i havnt made a payment.. i tell them i have made a payment ,,and all they do is harass me saying i havnt made a payment...all i can say is they are a fly by night made up company

I used wells fargo a few years ago to help with a divorce lawyer. Been paying for it ever since. What was a 8,000 balance, after 3 years has been lowered to 6,000, with monthly payments of 400.
even at 18%, this should have been cleared up.
Never got a statement. Never. Not one. And started questioing, (actually phoning them trying to get answers), no luck, on hold one day for an hour.) Stopped automatic withdrawl, got a letter (Demand for payment) within 4 days. Theyre quick when they want to be, huh?
Do they have power? what would they be able to do under the scope of the law if payment stopped?
I signed with Wells Fargo, only because it was a known name, a professional company.
No phone calls yet, wondering if theyll send the boys around...

I too  have paid off my loan with SST but they now owe me the insurance on the loan cause I paid them off 13 1/2 months before my debt was supposed to be paid.  They are trying to give me back 1/3 of what is owed.  Did you contact a lawyer and how did it go.

I ALSO HAVE A LOAN WOTH WELLS FARGE AND THIS COMPANY TOOK IT OVER ABD MY PAYMENTS ARE NOT REGULAR I KINDA HESITATE TO MAKE PAYMENTS WITH NO INFORMATION IT THIS A GOOD THING MY NEXT DUE IS 22 DEC I DONT THINK I WILL DO THIS PAYMENT

I do not want to receive any more harrassing phone calls from SST Financial (formerly Wells Fargo).  My husband and I are getting sick and tired of being harrassed.  We are keeping up with our monthly minimum balances.  We want the phone calls to stop.  PLEASE!!!

Boy this company is really starting to P**% ME OFF.  Again 5 phone calls today alone and it is only 1230 pacific time and the payement isn't due until the 5th of the month.  Is there any way of gettting these jerks to stop.  I think i should just stop paying them as many others said the contract is with Wells Fargo not these guys.  They are a royal pain. Like "old wells fargo" has asked has anyone had luck with a lawyer maybe if we all get together we can stop this harrasment.  As you can tell they have changed their phone number again

Like so many people I had a loan with Wells Fargo and was in the process of rewriting it at a lower intrest rate. Then suddenly I received a call saying Wells Fargo was leaving the consumer loans services in Canada.
the head office was unwilling to help me with what the previous office manager and I had started.  Later I received a letter saying my account had been sold to SST Financial people are jerks and so very unprofessional and not customer friendly one bit. They harrassed me for months until I trheatened to stopped paying my unsecure loan and they would have to chase me down. They have also REFUSED to give me a breakdown statement of my loan  ie: payment  principal intrest, to me this is insane for a loan company. I tell  everyone I cn to stay away from this company as they are horrible. Even two different financial Institutions  out here had not one good thing to say about these people.

My husband and I are facing the same thing.  They call every hour on the hour, even though our payments are made and we are nowhere close to being late.  When I answer, they ask me to hold. Last Wednesday, I got a call from them at 7pm demanding payment which was not due until today!!!  They also claim that we cannot pay out the loan in full, that we need to pay all the payments as stated in the contract.  However, we have the original contract that states we can prepay with no penalty and we are trying to do that so we can get rid of this harrassment but they won't allow us to do it!
Has anyone had luck with a lawyer?

I know what all of you are saying and I fully understand. They constanty phone and harras me even if the payement is made.  I also do it on line the day it is due and they start calling at 7:30 in the morning and don't stop.  I will not send in a PAD to them because I just don't trust them.  So does any one know of a way to get these jerks to stop calling constantly even though the payement has been made.  Short of getting a lawyer I am a single parent with only one income and the constant harrasement is enough I can not afford a lawyer.

I have been getting calls from this company that starts at 7AM every morning and go every hour.  The letters also do not stop.  Tonight a man in a maroon jeep showed up with a letter from them and he was taking pictures, etc.  I am sure this is not legal.

this company even after payment is made continue to call from 8 in the morning to 9pm at night. We have new borns and the phone continually wakes them. My wife is at her wits end, and wants to hurt someone, this had better stop. I would never to buisness with these people if this is the way they treat people, I feel like I owe a loan shark. I to will be considering talking to a lawyer about this abuse

Holy crap, just got a call from them. I owed yesterday, paid yesterday, but I paid online. First time ever I paid on the due date, not a week before like i usually do. 8:00 they call.

I MAKE THE PAYMENTS ON THE DUE DATE AND EVEN MORE. THEY DONT STOP CALLING THEY ARE HARASSING ME EVERY DAY EVEN UP TO 8 TIMES A DAY THIS HAS TO STOP

Same garbage going on here - just received a Demand Payment letter for a payment due at the end of July (today is the12th) and the balance owing shows $0  - what the ????
They call constantly - never ever had this with Wells Fargo - can't wait till this sucker is paid in full
if they continue to harass I will be reporting them

At the end of March I called Wells-Fargo to be sure they had my new banking account information. I had changed banks when I took out a new mortgage.

I only owed Wells Fargo less than $800.00 and had never had a problem over the 20 months I have paid on my loan.  This information did not get to SST...who began withdrawing from an account that was only maintained with $50.00. Meantime, proper new account info had been faxed to Wells-Fargo.

After two months and repeated attempts to take money out of the old account I have racked up almost $200.00 in overdraft charges caused by either Wells-Fargo or SST which is operating for the company that bought the debt...DBGS (Dutchman Bank Goldman Sachs)

After dealing with the issues of the phone system at SST I finally got an individual this morning to state that I was paying of my loan minus what they owed me for NSF charges. I told them I would pay it next week (Tuesday).  Now I am getting a call an hour....with each person professing they did not know that someone else had dealt with it.  The person I had dealt with was to put notes on my account to state I would pay it off minus the bank charges. Very ignorant people even though my credit is A-1

Tomorrow morning I am filing a complaint over harrassment to the Nova Scotia Consumer Affairs office. They can prevent the company from making further calls to me.

I feel sorry for seniors and people on fixed income trying to deal with these capitalistic animals who do not even respect good communication.

It seems that no matter how you talk to them, when you talk to them, or what you tell them, they don't listen.  I waited almost two months without getting a bill, and had to call to get it.  I made a payment, then received the bill, and made another payment (while they were calling 8 times a day).  the next bill only showed one payment, and it supposedly all went to interest, so my bill ended up being the same amount as the first bill I received.  strange how i can pay over my monthly bill, and not see it on the next bill.  How can our items be sold to a company who treats us as if our items were sent to collections.  It's not right!!!  oh and it seems kind of rude that sometimes when you do answer, they have a recording of "please hold for the next available representative" when they are the ones that called you.

I dont bother contacting them at all I never signed an agreement with SST therefore the contract is not valid. these guys are a nightmare to many people someone please do something about these jack***es already.

They call me 5 or 6 Times a Day at  my Busineess.  I make my Payments on Time I send them Post Dated Cheques & they still keep calling. I am so Sick of these People I do not feel like Paying them.  Wells Fargo sold out to these people & I did not Sign anything to say it was ok for them to keep Collecting My Money. I am thinking very seriously about seeking Legal Advice. I feel I am being Harrassed. I  now REFUSE to Speak to them when they call  so they can call until the cows come home I DON"T CARE.

Dear Frustrated and everyone who has responded above, I have had the same experience. Payments are made on time and still getting harassing calls 4 times per day. I have had enough! I am seeking legal counsel. My loan was with Wells Fargo and not this disorganized financial group called,SST...where the customer service rep can't answer any questions regarding my loan account or why they are harassing me regularly when the loan is paid on time. I have contacted Wells Fargo,who states they cannot help as the loans were all sold to SST. If I recall years ago...SST is a collections agency.

My loan was purchases by SST.  I have received up to 8 phone calls a day even after payments are made on time.  I have received demand for payment letters with a 0 balance 6 days before the loan payment was even due.  I have been harassed by this company repeatedly.  Even after calling them in regards to why I would receive a letter DEMANDING payment 6 days before the loan payment I received phone calls the next day as well looking for money on the 0 balance that was owed at that time.  I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau, and also my MLA's.  We should not be getting harassed for being in good standing.  Thank god I only have 3 payments left.

It appears that SST Financial also continues to withdraw money from my bank account even after my loan (originally signed with Wells Fargo) has matured (been paid off in full).  Although it is not the full amount of the monthly payment; theyhave come up with a very small amount to charge against the initial contract- less than thirty dollars. I have called their customer service number and have gotten nowhere.  It sounds as if their call centre has been outsourced to a company in India or Pakistan.  In a very rich accent, their customer service reps cannot answer any questions as to why SST is charging money after a forty-eight month term has matured and the loan has been paid off in full- they can only tell me what is on their computer screens.  Furthermore, their fax machine is currently not in operation.  I have written and sent them a registered letter, via Canada Post, and will soon be filing a claim in small claims court, against them- for the extra money that they have witdrawn from account.

A company that charges money after a loan loan has been paid off, no Website, an out-of-service fax machine and a call centre that is short of "robotic"- this company should be investigated by a government body.  For now I will hire a lawyer, proceed with a claim in small claims court and attempt to alert various departments of the government that oversee consumer protection or carry similar madates.
