We can get a copy of the bill because we are Verizon agents and have Verizon Ids to log into accounts if you would take a minute an listen you would understand we are doing you a favor by reducing the rates for the account.

These guys call all the time. I have politely requested that they stop. I've stopped being nice. MAKE NO MISTAKE. Americom is NOT Verizon. Americom is a privately held company of highly questionable repute. The sales people are liars. The favorable reviews seen here are placed by Americom employees.

I actually considered working there. I was told that they would consider my application and call me if they were interested.
Two days later I received a phone call to report to training the next day @ 8:00 am. After the 1st hour after meeting the
rest of the so called salespeople in the class I learned that several people employed there are convicts on work release

They are able to get copies of your billbecause they are Verizon agents. They are truly a company that offers and bundle service offered by Verizon and they are working for them to assist Verizon customers. They are an honest legitimate company.

This company is a legit company and are Verizon's agents. They do offer a money saving offer directly from Verizon. Perhaps it was you who was nasty and unprofessional to a company calling your business with a truly money saving offer.

I had the same experience. I was skeptical when the representative called. I originally left Verizon years ago due to pricing.   My phone bill was over $200 a month with Broadview for the past 2 years. I didn't think they could help but my Verizon bill is never over $120 a month! The customer service has been great. It is nice to find an honest company during this difficult times.

they said they were from Verizon with a phone deal if i had more than one line.I only have one line so they claimed i was not eligible for the offer and hung up.

They helped my cut my phone bill in half.  Nice people. I'm glad they called.

My brother-in-law used this company and had very good results. They had good prices (much lower than I am paying) but I am still under contract with another company. I will have to wait a year before I can go to Verizon :(

The last several reviews are highly suspicious-- giving fake praise for this telemarketer.  THINK about it folks-- would anyone who KNEW who this number belongs to come to a website where people ask "who does this number belong to"?   NO.  I'm willing to bet it's the scammer company giving itself good reviews.  Happy buyers don't search the internet for a place to report a "good" experience with a telemarketer.

Just got a call claiming to be from teh "Re-Aquisition department of Verizon" after I had informed them we were not with Verizon.  Their answers changed as they learned more.  Obviously a con job.  I got this as their callback number.  Then called the real Verizon.  They told me this number is for Americom and that they are a known "Slammer" not associated with Verizon in any way. I believe is the term they used.

They call my business several times a day.  Fortunately I have Caller ID and am prepared for them.  They say they are "calling on behalf of Verizon" or "about your Verizon account" and ask to speak to the person responsible for "your Verizon account".  I don't even transfer them anymore; I just hang up.  I called this number back yesterday and spoke to the receptionist.  She answered the phone saying "Thank you for calling Americom (sp?)".  I asked to be put on their Do Not Call list and she took my info.  I'll give it a few days to see if they actually do stop.  Right now when they call, I just answer the phone and say, "Stop calling this #!" and hang up.  They are a real pain in the butt.

They helped me leave Vonage and go back to Verizon. I can now hear what my customers are saying over the phone again. Thanks Neil!
