888-380-9913 called about QuickBooks updates and wanted to know if I use it in my business.

Scammers! Said she was quick books. Told her I didn't want it. please remove my number. She got very angry said since you are so ugly I will remove your face! I said yea I will remove your face! She hung up.

They called twice in 11/2 hours.  Did not leave a message either time.

I didn't get a chance to pickup the phone.
However, I called back and it was an automated voice. It said thank you for calling our sales team, someone will get back with you right away.

These people have called me three times while I am asleep -- 1, 2, 4 AM. I picked up this time to let them know to stop f-ing calling my cell. She told me all about a promotion with Comcast. I told her to stop calling and have Comcast talk to me directly if there is any issue with my account. She seemed angry, called me a "greedy know-it-all" and hung up. I'm assuming it was a scam artist.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Datacomm offering free upgrade of QuickBooks.  I told them we do not accept anything free.

Got a call from "Quickbooks Compliance Services" asking for the person who uses quickbooks, trying to give a "free" copy of Quickbooks 2014 if I qualified.   Said I wasn't stupid enough to qualify for their scam and they hung up.

Another anti-business telemarketer. Why do they waste my time asking for the owner or.. and Refuse to give me their name and company info when requested. If the Republicans really want to help business they pass laws and enforce them to ban such bad business practices.

It's a criminal organization trying to scam you. Don't even answer.

Received a call from this number even though I am on the Do Not Call List!

I have reported the number to the FTC. You should also report these types of calls. You can submit a complaint here: https://www.donotcall.gov/

Get a police whistle, and tell them to take you off their list. If they continue blow the whistle as loudly as you can for as long as you can.

Amazing. Totally rude person calling about quickbooks. When I asked if this is a sales call she said no. Then she started going into cashing checks or something and I should know what this call is about. Thinking maybe something happened I continued listening. When it became obvious it was a sales call, I said this is a sales call and I am not interested and how did you get my number (being on the no call list). She then got very rude and said that I am not cooperating therefore someone else will call me back. When I said don't call me back she said someone will. She then said to me that I am being rude and therefore someone will call. Expect a call. Then she hung up before I could get the last word in. On a lark plugged the number into google and all these other comments showed up. What a scam. But they have to be stupid to let their tel number show.

Thick accent, reading from script, wanted to know if we used quikbooks. I said no.  Wanted to know if we accept credit cards, I said we do.  Then some more babbling about a "no obligation" something, I interrupted her and said we are not interested.

I bet if you sign up for their program, you end up with enormous bank card fees and stolen cc numbers.

got a call from this number, they did not leave a message.  From what I see here, that was good I missed the call.  going to put it on my annoying caller block list.

I have received several calls from this number today.  I did not pick up since I know from this board that they are likely telemarketers. They do not leave a voicemail message when you do not pick-up, but call back after several minutes.  My direct dial number is on Do Not Call list.  Will report them to FTC.

Received two phone calls from a woman from this number demanding to speak to the owner of the business... when I asked what business they wanted the demanded to know if this was a business number, I asked them what business they wanted to speak to and she again demanded to know if it was a business number... when I again asked her what business she wanted to speak to she told me to "Go F' myself" and hung up.
A few minutes later she called again and my wife answered... she again demanded to know if it was a business number and my wife asked what business she wanted to speak to as we have several businesses being run from that number.... she called my wife "A lying bi*** " and hung up....
I would love to get hold of the person in charge there...

Aggressive telemarketer pushing fraudulent credit card services

I received a call from this no call back number.  When you receive a call like this, there is a good chance that Dun & Bradstreet  (Hoovers D&B) sold your business information to the Telemarketers.  When you Google an annoying no call back number to find out who the jerk is that's calling, the advertising banner on the website is almost always Duns & Bradstreet.  Every time you get a telemarketing call, you should do as I do, call the fine folks at Duns & Bradstreet (877) 930-4745 and share your feelings.
