got calls

The phone answers as Nationwide.  They say they are an APR Service that mediates between debtor and creditor on past due debts.

i got the same call and it's a scam according to my bank ... james white called me and also left a message with my mom!  i haven't lived at home in 25 years and i live 1500 miles away -- anyway, said i had a deposit from good times cash in the amount of $300 on august 3, 2009 -- the account he referenced (yes, he had the account number) was closed july 30th of the same year, thus impossible for that deposit to have taken place ... he threatened with being served papers ... DO NOT give them any information; they already have most of your information, but DO NOT help them in agreeing that the information is correct ... the number goes to a company called Nationwide ADR, and although the gentleman i spoke with was quite nice on the phone, the banker who explained to me about my former account said she's had several calls regarding this same matter

I also am receiving calls from this company however, they've hired a local company to call me as well. I tired calling the number back and it ring busy or out of service. I feel very uncomfortable giving or verifying any information with them. All the information they have about me is outdated by more than two years. I have yet to see my court papers I will let you guys know if I do receive them.

Same here. Needs "address verification to serve papers." Says I faxed an order somewhere. I neither own or use a fax machine or service. "You have one chance..."

if you owe money get a debt consolidation company..these guys called me a biatch...

care one helped me and they'll help its so easy just combine everything you owe they take a small monthly payment out, i'm almost done with my 11K debt i had..
its so easy and stress free...also i would get all new account number, checking etc...

I gave them my acct number because they said I was going to be served. But anyways I did a claim with my bank and they gave me my money back and then I changed my acct

I got a phone call from a Private locator for Nationwide ADR telling me he wanted my work address to serve me papers. Then i call back the number HE gave me which was ADR and when i talk to them they told me i was gonna be served and im looking at serious charges if i dont pay now. The number started with 855. They wont send me a bill

This company is a FRAUD!  They have illegally obtained records from the internet for people who have obtained loans in the past. If you receive a call from them disregard it.  If you need peace of mind, contact your creditors directly.  It's really sad that these people are preying on innocent responsible citizens.

I called this company and they are not a scam. They were able to give me any and all information that I needed about "my situation". If you don't pay your debts, it will catch up with you. I have learned my lesson and am glad that I resolved my own debt so that people leave me alone.

Got call from man stating that a fax was received in his office to serve me papers from ADR and to call 1-888-390-4265 tosettle dispute.  This is a scam!

Did you reply to the call?  And if you didn't, did anyone come to your house like he said they would.  I called them back and asked several questions about who their locator person is and where they are located, etc.  Got no answers.

Got a call from this may and told me to call 888-390-4265 to avoid law suit over a debt, but didn't
give me any info about debt.  Said he need my home address and work address so they could
serve me papers.  This was ADR and to call to work out payments. Have no idea who these people are.
Said to condsider myself served.
