I'm the original poster. I'm also with T-Mobile. So what's the first thing I did? I called the number from my office phone and entered a fake credit card number! it's a new form of phishing is all. Be safe brothers and sisters.

Solution!!!
Seeing as how this comes from an email rather than a phone number you MUST go to your tmobile account online to set forwarding rules. I viewed this thread when this message came through and spoke to a tmobile rep on chat about it, he had me do the following to block this address as this can't be done through the phone (exception to a 3rd party app?).
1. Sign in to tmobile.com
2. Go to: MobileLife>Email and Text tools (all the way to the right)
3. Click on: Create e-mail filters (third piece in the list under "E-mail filters and Spam blocking")
4. Click on: Create filter
5. Now you have some drop-downs to choose, this should look like so:
If the From field
Contains vtext.com
Then Do not send to handset and do not forward
6. Click on: Save
7. Click on: Update E-mail Filters
Now then, I received one from vtext.com and another from nextel.com so I made two filters. The only downside of this is if you actually have someone legitimate emailing you from these addresses, I don't so I'll gladly block any message coming from vtext.com OR nextel.com

Please DO NOT call back this number. Once you call back, it initiates a code showing you are a real number and they will keep sending messages to you. THIS IS A SCAM! It is happening a lot because of people doing their taxes online. Hackers then obtain your phone number through websites trying to get your account numbers.

I just got the text message from 3724, then I opened it and it said cbbv@nextel.com// Contact CombasBank @ 888-391-3719 - I am also Tmobile, perhaps the scumbag sending the text messages is a Nextel user.
